Please sign on this page when you have carefully and thoroughly read - and agreed to - the Wikipedia Teaching Fellowship requirements for the U.S. Wikipedia Education Program.
By signing this document, you agree to abide by the requirements listed on the Wikipedia Teaching Fellowship requirements document, and understand that at the end of the academic term the Wikimedia Foundation will reevaluate whether you've met these requirements and has the right to remove your Fellowship designation at that time if it is found that these requirements have not been met.
Instructions: please sign below, following these steps -
- Create a Wikipedia user account (if you don't already have a user account), by clicking the "Log in/create account" button at the upper-right hand corner of this screen, then clicking on "Don't have an account? Create one" and then following the instructions there. Creating a user account generally takes less than 5 minutes.
- Log in to your Wikipedia user account (if you're not already logged in), by clicking the "Log in/create account" button at the upper-right hand corner of this screen and then entering your username and password.
- On the bottom of this page, you'll see a section where you can add your course title and signature.
- Click the "edit" button on the top of this section
- Replace the text 'Your College/University Here' with your university, enter your course title, and sign your name by entering four tildes (*Course Instructor: John Smith ~~~~)
- Click the "Save page" button.
- You've now signed the agreement!
- A Wikipedia Education Program representative who has verified all of the requirements will sign his/her name.
- Upon completion of the agreed-upon assignment, you will be a Wikipedia Teaching Fellow!
