Original - Mature Lime Nail galls (Eriophyes tiliae tiliae) on a Lime leaf, caused by the mite.
Reason
It is very illustrative to the gall sprouted in a leaf, very uncommon.

Original - John Naka's bonsai masterpiece, Goshin, is on display at the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum.
Reason
This is an excellent picture of what is, perhaps, the most famous bonsai in the world.

  • Oppose. Overly harsh reflections make it look metallic. I like the rings, etc, as you say (once you figure out what it is) but I personally think it's too hard to tell what it is due to those bad metallic looking reflections, and for mine you can only really tell what it is once you view it at full res (i.e., not even at image page size). --jjron (talk) 06:35, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
