Original - A Bell 407 helicopter of White Eagle Aviation. Photo taken at the Góraszka Air Picnic 2009.

Reason: High EV due to the fact that the helicopter is shown from half-profile, which makes it easily identifiable.

Original - The critically endangered Sumatran Orangutan at the orangutan rehabilitation center in Bukit Lawang

Reason: The image does a very good job in illustrating many articles in a compelling way, making the reader want to know more. It is also used in several portals and wiki projects.

Support - As an official photo is not very special and doesn't reveal much about the person, other than official appearance. The fact that is the first time that an official presidential portrait was taken with a digital camera makes it neverthless somewhat special. Importantly, it is used in 220+ articles, so it seems to be much valued. It had broad support even as FP nomination in January however there was no consensus. Original - apl.de.ap, a musician with the hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas, performs at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in November 2004.

Reason: I'm completely new to Valued Pictures, so forgive me if I'm not doing this right, or if this picture isn't the type of thing we're looking for. I'm not an excellent photographer, but I think this image is of encyclopedic value to the apl.de.ap page, and is a rather unique image of this subject in mid-performance. I was right at the front row and was able to get very close.
