Purpose & scope
editThis group is dedicated to improving and organizing Wikipedia's coverage of ongoing armed conflicts. This can be done through gathering all the articles, useful sources and editors in one place in order to achieve efficiency and high quality content.

Inclusion criteria issue
edit- Moro conflict in Sabah - not clear whether it is an organized insurgency or a collection of crime incidents.
- 2016 Kananga clashes - massive casualties from August 2016, but unclear scope with 107 fatalities including 7 from Central government [1][2][3][4]
- Clash with the king of Rwenzururu in Uganda:[5] at least 55 casualties in November 2016 and 50 between February and March but no secondary source found for this secondary figures.
- 2017 Venezuelan protests - 163 fatalities, initial signs of an armed insurgency (Caracas helicopter incident,El Junquito raid,Attempted assassination of Nicolás Maduro)
- 2017–18 Iranian protests - 20+ killed, but still no organized armed uprising
