Sex work task force

Statue in honor of sex workers in Amsterdam

Welcome to the Sex work task force of WikiProject Sexology and sexuality! This group was formed to better organize articles on sex occupations and sex workers in a spirit of cooperation.

Task force scope

This group includes within its scope all articles related to sex work, sex workers, and the larger sex industry, including social, cultural, political, historical, and professional issues related to the sex industry, and biographical articles about notable sex workers. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on sex workers in a fair and accurate manner. All of these articles should be contained within the Category:Sex industry or one of its subcategories.

The Sex work task force is a task force within the larger WikiProject Sexology and sexuality. The task force has clear overlap with WikiProject Organized Labour and WikiProject Pornography – articles about pornography and the porn industry are primarily under the scope of that project, though aspects of pornography that are related to sex work issues also clearly fall into the scope of this project as well. This task force also has some overlap WikiProject Biography, WikiProject Sociology, WikiProject Gender Studies, and WikiProject LGBT studies.
