Welcome to WikiProject Agriculture. Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of agriculture and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list below.
This Project aims primarily to provide a consistent article structure for agricultural related topics while striving to develop and improve said agriculture articles. The goal is to make Wikipedia a comprehensive source of factually accurate, neutral articles that include relevant, credible facts.
This WikiProject strives to develop and improve articles at Wikipedia related to crop production, livestock management, aquaculture, dairy farming and forest management. The project also covers related areas, including both governmental and NGO regulatory agencies, agribusiness, support agencies such as 4H, agricultural products including fertilizers and herbicides, pest management, veterinary medicine and farming equipment and facilities.

Please feel free to list new Agriculture-related articles here (newer articles at the top, please). Any new articles that have an interesting or unusual fact in them, are at least over 1,500 characters, don't have any dispute templates on them, and cite their sources, should be suggested for the Did you know? box on the Wikipedia Main Page.
If you find an article that falls under the scope of this project, feel free to add this banner to the top of its talk page by typing {{WPFarm}}, which will produce the following:

This tag should be placed at the bottom of the article page (below any categories and templates other than other stub templates). This is in addition to assessing the article as "|class = stub" on the talk page. If the article is already tagged with {{stub}} replace it with one of the above tags but leave any other appropriate topic specific stub templates.
Tag with all appropriate non-duplicative stub templates (e.g. don't tag with both {{Legume-stub}} and {{Faboideae-stub}} - only use the more specific {{Faboideae-stub}} if it applies), as these assist other editors in searching for stubs in topics they are interested in working on and may assist other projects in finding stubs related to their subject area (e.g. Wikipedia:WikiProject Botany in the case of plants). Additionally, some of these stubs may eventually feed into Agriculture as additional stubs, it will be easier if they are already tagged.
