I would like to propose a change to Template:BLP unsourced. Template:Notability has a nice 'find sources' line at the bottom that makes searches easier especially for less experiences editors who may not be familiar with say Google's newspaper search or Google Scholar. I would like to see this section added to Template:BLP unsourced, thoughts? --J04n(talk page) 14:57, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, that's a good idea. I never thought of that. {{prod blp}} also has the "find sources" links. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:13, 8 February 2016 (UTC)
- I'm going to make the change. --J04n(talk page) 00:12, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

Proposed adding age in biography articles on life milestones
When reading a long biography, it's mentioned many times in the article the year of what something happened. For example, biography subject was born in 1963 and then opened their first company in 1981. It would help the reader a lot, plus keep their interest, if the age was mentioned between braces on each event like this.
Actual examples from Colonel_Sanders page.
Example 1
Current: In 1930, the Shell Oil Company offered Sanders a service station...
Suggested: In 1930 (age 40), the Shell Oil Company offered Sanders a service station...
Example 2
Current: In 1952, Sanders franchised "Kentucky Fried Chicken" for the first time...
Suggested: In 1952 (age 62) , Sanders franchised "Kentucky Fried Chicken" for the first tim

- I think there would probably be a less distracting way to do it. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 11:08, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
- Maybe a tooltip (not showing inline) but shows up when hovering over the years, but it won't work on mobile. Mohd Ajami (talk) 23:23, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

Help with Hansjörg Wyss?
I'm seeking assistance with editing the Synthes USA section of the Hansjörg Wyss article. There was a dispute back in October about the content, which is still unresolved.
If you're new to the discussion, I started a new thread on the Talk page explaining the timeline, but to summarize the issue, I believe the entry focuses too much on an indictment that involved Wyss' company, but not Wyss himself. Wyss was never charged with wrongdoing and the matter is discussed at length in the Synthes article that's linked from Wyss' article.
I've found other editors who agree with my stance, but I have had difficulty finding anyone to help make the changes. I will not make them myself because I have a financial conflict of interest. Would any editors here be willing to make edits to this section as they see fit? Thanks! Heatherer (talk) 22:56, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
