Notability Guide
I tried to write a Notability Guide for Handball. Please add your inputs at the discussion. --Malo95 (talk) 13:48, 31 August 2019 (UTC)

- The proposed notability guide for Handball is good, as it allows reference to Continental tournaments and professional leagues which may not appear in US tables of competitions. --Whiteguru (talk) 06:56, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Youth beach teams
Hi all, do you think we need specific pages for Youth beach teams? Seeing now as they are included in the Youth Olympics, therefore regional qualifiers are happening. So would be bhy|nation Currently results are down as national teams.Bjcook (talk) 06:40, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Bjcook: I think the best is if you create new pages. In the future my next project is to create pages for the field handball national teams. --Malo95 (talk) 16:26, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
- Will do Malo95.--Bjcook (talk) 22:19, 6 January 2020 (UTC)
Discord
Hey all, I hope everyone is safe and healthy. My name is HickoryOughtShirt?4 and I'm a member of WikiProject Ice Hockey. I was wondering if there was any interest in starting a WikiProject Sports channel on Discord? There's quite a few of us who are interested in sports, and I think it would be a good idea to help the WikiProject recruit more members. You guys can join us through here.HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 00:02, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
The Handball Barnstar
Hello, I created the Handball Barnstar via {{The Handball Barnstar|put your message here ~~~~}}
. I already added it to the Template section of this project. Jerm (talk) 04:16, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Jerm: Thank you very much for the template-Malo95 (talk) 14:16, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
Eurohandball.com
Hey, so the site changes it layout. So far, the player profile are not working. I do hope they will still work when all is setup, otherwise we need to find a way to replace them (hopefully a bot would be able to do that but i am to stupid for something like this)... Kante4 (talk) 15:01, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Kante4: I looked at it and not only the players doesn't work any more also the competition pages are brocken. But if you replace the www with history, it redirects to the archive example: www
.eurohandball .com /player /523212 to history .eurohandball .com /player /523212. But it would be nice if we're able to link to the new pages. I have a contact at the EHF, I'll ask if they have a table or something else to connect the old and new links.-Malo95 (talk) 08:24, 1 July 2020 (UTC) - Yeah, that would be great. I asked S.A. Julio (talk · contribs) for help as he is good at technical solutions. Maybe they can redirect those "old" links to the "new" ones or something like this, so we don't have to edit thousands of articles... Appreciate your help and let me know if you got some info. ;) Kante4 (talk) 08:45, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- To change from www to history is not a big deal. Couple days ago I made a similar request for the IHF page. Wikipedia:Link rot/URL change requests/Archives/2020/July#IHF.--Malo95 (talk) 09:11, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- Ahh, there it came from, good catch. ;) The template "EHF" and the wikidata template for the Eurohandball player ID needs to be fixed. If we use history, we do not get the new data i guess and it stays where it was, so no updating for future seasons. Kante4 (talk) 09:17, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- For now, i added the "history" to the template and the wikidata item. Kante4 (talk) 13:18, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks Kante4! Unfortunately, it doesn't work yet, see examples in Property or Daniel Narcisse. Don't know how long it takes so that the change works? --LeFnake (talk) 14:09, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- @LeFnake: It does work in the articles. Kante4 (talk) 14:10, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Kante4: ok, I needed to update the corresponding module on French wiki, but it works now :-) --LeFnake (talk) 14:39, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

EHF Champions League clubs performance comparison deletion
There is an AfD for EHF Champions League clubs performance comparison. @Kante4, Boba 99, and Dellux mkd: Malo95 (talk) 07:23, 20 July 2020 (UTC)
Dear handball enthusiasts:
Here's a draft that's in your area. Perhaps someone knowledgeable about handball would like to review it.—Anne Delong (talk) 22:16, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Anne Delong: This Project is about handball and not American handball therefore we are not able to help. Maybe the Wikipedia:WikiProject Squash is able to help because it's also a wall sport but I'm not sure. The best place would be Wikipedia:WikiProject Sport in my view. --Malo95 (talk) 09:00, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
Malo95, thanks for taking the time to explain. I'm embarrassed to say I had never heard of this kind of handball, so I've learned something today. I will take your advice.—Anne Delong (talk) 12:56, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
