This is a maintenance category, used for maintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and contains non-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories.

This category lists essays that contain the advice and/or opinions of one or more WikiProjects on how they interpret notability within their area of expertise. These pages are not policies or guidelines, and editors are free to but not obliged to follow them during XfD's.

WikiProjects are encouraged to write essays on notability that meet or exceed the expectations of notability or the applicable sub-guideline BIO, ORG, NUMBER, ACADEMICS, rest of the sub guidelines.
