Cola Wars is an upcoming American biographical drama film directed by Judd Apatow from a script written by Jason Shuman and Ben Queen. It is based on true events about Pepsi challenging Coca-Cola's century-long reign as the world's top cola company in the mid-1980's.

Production

In late February 2024, it was reported that biographical drama film titled Cola Wars was in development at Sony Pictures Releasing, depicting the true events about Pepsi challenging Coca-Cola's century-long reign as the world's top cola company in the mid-1980's. Jason Shuman and Ben Queen were hired to write the screenplay.^[1] In September 2024, Judd Apatow boarded the project as director, with Steven Spielberg set to serve as a producer under his Amblin Entertainment banner.^[2]
