Traitor
editR&AW grew stronger till Mrs Gandhi didn't loose elections after emergency. This was Indian Prime minister Morarji's who shared R&AW's superb officials names list with other foreign intelligence agencies and got them eliminated. After emergency, Mrs Gandhi came to power but by then ISI & NATO's agencies succeeded damaging R&AW considerably. Our agency miserably failed in Sri Lanka & Punjab. Many unsung heroes of R&AW died in line of duty. Morarji Desai was given "Nishaan- E-Pakistan" after he lost elections for his obedient role destroying R&AW. India doesn't have any policy for dealing with political treason. Prashanna01 (talk) 19:21, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

He did not resign from Congress
editOn 12 November 1969, Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi was expelled from the Congress party for helping candidate opposing the official nominee of the Congress party. Indira Gandhi then organized her own faction of the Congress party called Congress(R) while Moraraji Desai and K. Kamaraj remained in the original Congress now termed Congress (O). It is incorrect to say that Morarji Desai had resigned from Congress. See Indian National Congress (Organisation) Malaiya (talk) 06:02, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
Paid informer to the CIA
editIn his book The Price of Power, Seymour Hersh claims that Morarji Desai was paid $20,000 a year for leaking the details of the cabinet meetings of Indra Gandhi, see pages 450-477, Kindle Edition. Is anybody going to write about that? Surjit Singh (talk) 19:35, 10 February 2023 (UTC)
