The information shared on the Wikipedia page of the great father movie is not officially confirmed. It says the movie collected over 10 crore rupee in two days. Which is incorrect and also no official announcement has came out. Kindly remove any incorrect information updated on the page which spoils Wikipedia reputation. Thank you.  Done - I removed most of this content here. But you should beware of absolutes like "officially confirmed" because Indian film financials are full of lies, and the lies start at the "official" sources like directors/producers, etc and filter across the media. We also don't use the claims made by primary sources (like directors, actors, producers, etc) as they would all have a reason to inflate the data. Not done: Unclear why this is worth changing. 20 crore seems like a totally arbitrary milestone. Just because the trades report some new "record" doesn't mean that an encyclopedia needs to repeat the information. Everything is a record if you establish the right goalposts. Gross numbers

@Cyphoidbomb:I think it would be better to leave out collection figures for the movie, as almost all the sources quoted mention primary sources as their source for the numbers.

• The earlier approved source for a gross of 25.26/20 crores ([1]) says it derived its numbers based on Mammooty's Facebook post.
• The other figure of 4.31 crores mentioned as the first day gross in the beginning is also sourced from another Facebook post by producer Prithviraj Sukumaran as can be evidenced from a reading of the sources ([2] and [3]).
• Other reliable sources have also questioned the veracity of the numbers and rubbished the claims as possible propaganda ([4] and [5]).

I can't read Malayalam and Google Translate doesn't help me much. According to Jupitus Smart at Talk:List of highest-grossing Indian films, the 50 crore claim in this article seems to be coming from the producers. Is that correct? If so, then we should not update based on that figure, as the producers constitute a primary source. We need figures that have been independently verified.
