DYK nom
editJust a quick note that I nominated this article for a DYK nom. Great work Legolas! Andrzejbanas (talk) 15:00, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
POV Tag
editI've attempted numerous times to improve and decrease the length of this article as well as remove the POV editing which so obviously tries to make the madonna's acting attempt look like less of a failure. An editors who are obvious madonna apologists won't change a thing and this is aganist wikipedia policy. The editor Landshade who claims I caused "massive problems" due to a few easy to repair references is obviously biased. Catherine Huebscher (talk) 5:33, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- First, its Lake not Land. Second, due to comments and your obvious view of the artist your edits are not permitted. Your edits do not seem in WP:GOODFAITH to better the article; it seems that you have a personal vendetta against her. Claiming the article "is too long" for its commercial and critical performance is not a logical reason. Yes there are over detailed sections which could be improved but massive section blanking without consensus is not acceptable. Please stop and wait until the author of the article has replied, thanks. - (CK)Lakeshade - talk2me - 01:06, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
THE AUTHOR? We are ALL authors and yes, I proudly think (Personal attack removed) mainly because her fans act as if she is beyond all reproach and publish false,[citation needed] ludicrously[citation needed] articles like this all over wikipedia. THE ARTICLE IS TOO LONG. I can have my bias and still edit fairly. Please DO NOT REMOVE THE POV TAG PLEASE. Catherine Huebscher (talk) 6:53, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
- You know what, I was willing to look into your points, but seeing your biased POV, nah, forget it. — Legolas (talk2me) 03:39, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- Great work, Legolas! Madonna is both great artist and person so it is obvious that it is kind of personal vendetta. This movie was a huge hit in Bulgaria. It is akin to Big Trouble in Little China which has been box office bomb but remains a cult classic. 37.63.99.49 (talk) 16:54, 7 March 2024 (UTC)
It does not matter, you do not own the (Personal attack removed) articles. and you do not get final edit approval. This article is a vanity piece[citation needed] which is longer than many public figures. My edits are all fair and eventually you will have to look at them because they are not going away.Catherine Huebscher (talk) 6:53, 10 July 2011 (UTC)
I've just re written the beginning of the article and tried to shorten it. I hope you guys like it. I do agree that it is too long. One thing I've noticed is that the plot appears throughout the article many times. Johnnyboytoy (talk) 19:09, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
Neutrality
editI would like to welcome opinions of users who think that the neutrality is disputed. I'm open to any points as long as it is not biased and not clouded with personal attacks. — Legolas (talk2me) 05:30, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
Stanley Tucci ???
editI just watched the movie and just reminded it to double check.
Neither one of the dock workers is Stanley Tucci. No way !! 2601:18F:E82:A10:3962:975:5CCE:AAC1 (talk) 02:55, 25 May 2023 (UTC)
