on being JME's 'cousin'

edit

upon reading the source, it appears despite JME considering him a cousin, there is absolutely no relation since the source clearly states that Zekaa's aunt married JME's uncle. I think this might be a popular incorrect fact that will be tried to be pushed. Perhaps it could be written in a different way to explain the relationship with JME but there is no blood relation at all between the two which I think is necessary to fit the definition of "cousin". @Jdxt: I have removed it as it not confirmed in non primary sources. The tweet could also be a joke. Sahaib (talk) 07:15, 19 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Well, that'd be a cousin by marriage at any rate. For what it's worth, Zerkaa addresses this here (a clip from his stream reacting to Jme's appearance on Daily Duppy) ten seconds in- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WSJzy358tk ; it seems odd that he'd specifically say "we are, in fact, related" unless he meant exactly that, surely? Jme having tweeted it could be considered "a joke" or something, but it seems odd that Zerkaa would say so also a decade later if it weren't the case. He mentions it in passing here in a stream clip too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Om4I4j4GNk Also a Tiktok clipping him saying so in a stream in response to a viewer's query- https://www.tiktok.com/@tanzz143/video/7252666178391330075?lang=en So, basically, they both say it's the case, and the only way to disprove it would be to conduct original research into their family trees which wouldn't be acceptable as proof here anyway.92.24.239.193 (talk) 22:36, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. --Hammersoft (talk) 12:15, 10 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

March 2024

User:Spooderman6920 responded on my talk page about an edit on this page which I explained in my edit summary. Despite my concerns about the relevancy, I don't really mind either way if the information is included, though I still think that it should be sourced, if not in the lead then in the body of the article.
