Hey there! I'm Nishkid64 , an Indian-American administrator and checkuser on Wikipedia. I was born in Hyderabad, India , but moved to the United States when I was 3 months of age, and I have lived here ever since. I am currently a member of the Class of 2011 at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Why I'm here
I first encountered Wikipedia on the web when I was doing some research for a history project. I felt that it was a highly reputable source since the encyclopedia took many different points of view into consideration. I have stayed with Wikipedia since, and I made my first contributions earlier in 2006.
I really like Wikipedia because it's a place where I can make contributions to society and meet new people.
Interests
I am your basic philomath . I practice a belief that if it is out there, it is your goal to learn/know about it. I enjoy reading and learning about the world from the perspectives of others. I think it builds my character, and helps me help others. Some particular topics of interest include epistemology , molecular biology , macroeconomics , politics , ancient history , astronomy , classic literature , etc.
