Techno Cumbia

Personally, I wouldn't add the {{Col-begin}} to the charts section. Something I would do though is combine the certifications and charts and call the section "Charts and certifications". I see that many, if not most, good and featured articles have the two combined into one section. Then, I would add the col-being template and separate the charts and the certifications.

Selena book

Hi AJona. I would suggest keeping the book in either its own "See also" section or in the external links. It is not a reference, and keeping it in the reference section causes the reference to blitz out (one column, leaving a lot of white space) on my display (1024 x 800). If you put it in a "see also" section, don't forget to use Template:Clear to avoid the issue Crisco 1492 (talk) 01:52, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

You are reverting just about every edit made by a good faith editor to the Selena article, and practically ignoring suggestions on the talk page with evasive answers. You already been warned for WP:OWN before. We need to work together I agree, but if you keep reverting constructive changes, nobody is willing to work with you, and you are already in a very thin line because of your obsession with Selena. Selena singles discography

Hi AJona1992. I came to the article to improve some citations of the certifications due to a recent change, and I was surprised to see that none of the certifications were actually valid. Not a single one! I believe you weren't the one who added the certifications, just the one adding the citations, but still, I think when one adds a citation, one should check that the citation is valid. Thanks for cleaning that up. I actually was the one who added those certifications in WP:AGF because there were only two Mexican magazines (TVyNovelas and TVNotas) that claimed those certifications. Since none exist online I believed it was accurate, although they do exaggerate the sales. See here Allmusic archived the peak positions for the album, however, look at "Missing My Baby" it peaked at 22 on the Rhythmic Top 40. However, that's a primary source, so I would need to get the source from Billboard here however Billboard has removed some, if not, most of Selena's peak positions. That is when I had to use gossip news magazines to replace what Billboard and Allmusic couldn't do. Best, Jonayo! ^{Selena 4 ever} 14:21, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

All I'm saying is, be careful with adding citations. A citation should not be added if it does not verify the fact. I'm very sorry that I didn't reply to this. I was just notified of it during a peer review. I added those citations because it was verified from the book, however online it states otherwise. ALBUMCAPS

Since most of your work involves Selena, I'm just letting know that the folks brought back the consensus regarding album and song titles not in English. Since most of her songs are in Spanish, only the first letter of the first word is capitalized. Do not confuse this with moving an article (which goes against WP:UE) to follow WP:ALBUMCAPS. I don't believe additional protection to be needed: there's not (yet) been vandalism to the other title by new or unregistered users. Junebea1 has been around for several months and made plenty of edits; s/he is way past the minimum for autoconfirmed, so semiprotection won't stop him/her. Not really, no I do not think it passes the FL criteria. The lead if iffy at places; not really close to FL standard. I noticed Selena released some singles, promotionally, too. If this is the case, they deserve their own section (singles and promotional singles are two different thing). For the chart references, is there anyway you can have the official provider, instead of using other sources? This makes it more reliable and easier to verify (there are also some other verify issues, especially with the "subscription required"s. For example, reference number 5 claims that that song was one of Selena's "signature songs". If this is the case, there should be other references that can easily be obtained w/o subscription to verify that claim.). There also seems to be some over-linking in the charts: there is no way there should be 6 references for one column. Either find a source that does it all or combine the references (like in K-Ci & JoJo discography).

The article also does not meet the criterion about references. There is some under-linking here. Wikilink everything that can be wikilinked. You also seem to be making up some titles. For example, reference 50: you have "Dreaming of You singles chart archives" as the title, when really it is "Dreaming of You > Charts & Awards > Billboard Singles". I'm not trying to sound like a mean person, and I apologize if I am, but those are pretty much the main things holding it back from FL.

Hey AJona, I have a question about the Selena singles article. One of the column header's is for the Mexican Singles Chart. However, upon clicking the link (which leads to AMPROFON), I learned AMPROFON only provides an album chart. This is confusing, and I was wondering if you could clear this up. Thanks in advance.

In my POV no, mostly because of the referencing. Why is Allmusic italicized? Also because of lack of information that is in lead (which I now see that you added the info in the article body) however, you may want to look at other GA song articles for a model for your article before the final decision is made. I don't really see the lede as a problem - the lede size is determined by the size of the article, and this one is similar to other smaller GAs such as Lovers in Japan or Clocks (song). Seven days is not a rigid rule and an article should not be failed if editors are still actively working on it, just because seven days have passed.

The GAN statement: "You may put an article "On Hold" for a period of time, generally one week", indicates flexibility. And if you follow GAN, you will notice a review actively working with an editor for weeks, and sometimes even months.

I agree with you, they were working on it but as the hour swept away, they didn't bother with it. They could of notified me and told me that they will get back to it but they decided not too. Hi AJona. I nominated "Just a Kiss" for a GA. I live in a different time zone, you see. When I made the necessary fixes on 16:42, 27 December 2011 (UTC), it was night in my place. That's why I left soon. I would've fixed the issues by now if it hadn't been failed. And, for the certification template, I don't think it's necessary. I have added 'for sales of xx digital units'.
