Notability
editAll articles on albums, singles or other recordings must meet the basic criteria at the notability guidelines: the overall influence it has had on the world. This means it has significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Significant coverage doesn't mean something has to be exclusively about the album, but it has to go into some detail and not just mention it in passing. Reliable sources are those with a reputation for accuracy and fact-checking, such as a newspaper. To be independent, a source must be separate from the subject: for example, a newspaper reporter talking about the album because it is newsworthy, and for no other reason. An article also needs to be either reasonably detailed, or have potential for expansion.
An article on a recording :
- Have been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble who created it.
- This includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, magazine articles, online versions of print media, and television documentariesexcept for the following: reprints of press releases, publications where the musician or ensemble talks about the recording, and advertising that mentions the recording or articles in a school or university newspaper (or similar).
- The single or album has appeared on any country's national music chart.
- The recording has been certified gold or higher in at least one country.
- The recording has won or been nominated for a major music award, such as a Grammy.
- The recording was performed in a medium that is notable, e.g., a theme for a network television show, performance in a television show or notable film, inclusion on a notable compilation album, etc. (But if this is the only claim, it is probably more appropriate to have a mention in the main article and redirect to that article.s)
- The recording was in rotation nationally by a major radio or music television network.
- The recording has been a featured subject of a significant broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network.
I hope this helps, and feel free to ask if you have any more questions. Regards, --Rubbish computer 19:29, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

Wizkid
editThanks for your edits to the Wizkid article. I know you must be wondering why I reverted your edits. We can't clutter the infobox with artists who have worked with Wizkid only once. If we are going to add all the people he has collaborated with, the article will look quite out-of-place. You should add artists that Wizkid has collaborated with on multiple occasions. Please read the associated acts section of the Template:Infobox musical artist article for more information about what's appropriate to add. Versace1608 (Talk) 20:39, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

Linda Ikeji Blog
editGreetings, I see that you're working on a draft for Linda Ikeji's blogsite. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time working on something that is not notable. Linda Ikeji's blog isn't notable because it doesn't meet the requirements of WP:GNG and WP:WEBSITE. Linda Ikeji being notable doesn't make her blog notable; notability cannot be inherited. If you're interested in working on something else, please let me know. I have plans of bringing few Nigerian articles to Good article status. I was able to bring the Wizkid article to GA status by expanding it tremendously and adding reliable newspaper sources. Versace1608 (Talk) 03:11, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
Wizkid (musician)
editIf you add the Jaguda source about Wizkid's living condition again, I will report you to the administrators for edit warring. Wizkid refuted Linda Ikeji's claims about him renting the house. The Jaguda source you cited doesn't validate any claims made by Linda Ikeji. You need to be careful how you add information to BLP articles. Adding information that has been refuted is defamatory to say the least. Versace1608 (Talk)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Aghachi7/Linda Ikeji's Blog
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Aghachi7/Linda Ikeji's Blog, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Legacypac (talk) 04:42, 7 August 2017 (UTC)
Why I removed your controversial additions from Davido's article
editIn line with biography of living persons guidelines, police cases are removed from Wikipedia articles except there was a conviction. In this case, the Nigerian police force cleared Davido of all charges. That information is not relevant in the article. Darreg (talk) 13:55, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
Not convinced
editwhat do you mean by not relevant? A controversial issue was rightfully placed in a portion of an article that should contain controversial information and you say it isnt relevant. So why delete a good edit? Are you trying to hide information? Like I pointed out earlier, there is the option of modifying or adding information.

Ice Prince
editI reverted the edits you made to the Ice Prince article because you are overlinking. Please refrained from linking the following:
- Everyday words understood by most readers in context.
- The names of subjects with which most readers will be at least somewhat familiar – unless there is a contextually important reason to link:
- This generally includes major examples of: geographic features (e.g., the Himalayas, Pacific Ocean, South America), locations (e.g., United States; New York City, or just New York if the city context is already clear; London, if the context rules out London, Ontario; Japan; Brazil; Southeast Asia), languages (e.g., English, Arabic, Korean, Spanish), nationalities and ethnicities (e.g., English, British, Chinese, Turkish; African-American, Hispanic), and religions (e.g., Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism).
- Contrasting examples: Lake Xochimilco, mid-Atlantic Ridge; Aberbeeg, Tonga; Frisian languages, Middle English; Prussian, Tohono O'odham, Afro-Cuban; Zoroastrianism, Shinreikyo.
- These are two sides of a spectrum with a grey area between them, which varies by context; exercise common sense.
- Common occupations
- Common units of measurement, e.g. units relating to currency, time, temperature, length, area, or volume. If both non-metric and metric equivalents are provided, as in 5 centimetres (2.0 in), usually neither unit needs to be linked, because almost all readers will understand at least one or the other unit.
- Dates (see § Chronological items, below)

The article Ademuyiwa Adebola Taofeek has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unclear notability
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 08:33, 24 July 2018 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ika people, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. 77.189.129.230 (talk) 14:55, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
@77.189.129.230: Hello, I'm Aghachi7. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks.
Hello there, you have repeatedly re-added unsourced material intó the Ika people article. Wikipedia's core content policy of Verifiability stipulates that "the burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution". This means that if you want to re-add unsourced material that has been challenged and removed from an article, the burden to provide reliable sources for the material lies on you. You must provide reliable sources for the material you are re-adding. You have now re-added unsourced material three times in a row into the Ika people article. The next time you re-add unsourced material into the Ika people article, or anywhere else in Wikipedia, your disruptive editing behaviour will be brought to the attention of Wikipedia's administrators. Please provide reliable sources for your additions. Thank you. 77.189.129.230 (talk) 15:02, 14 August 2018 (UTC)
- Please understand that I do not care about the content of the article in question, whether or not this or that is a subgroup or dialect of another. That's not my focus. What I do focus on, is whether or not the available material in the article is verifiable via reliable sources or not. Thank you. 77.189.129.230 (talk) 15:08, 14 August 2018 (UTC)

editYou should not move pages without seeking for consensus on the talkpage or at least explaining the reason for your moves. Mahveotm (talk) 19:21, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- And if you're been paid to edit Wikipedia, you need to disclose it now you can. I've seen some off Wiki comments from subjects of articles you created that are disturbing. Mahveotm!
@Mahveotm: 2 things. 1. You didn't point out the pages in question because accusing me of collecting money for edits is a weighty allegation. I got all the pages for creation from 3 sources, list of Igbo people, wikiproject Nigeria and Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. As it stands now I have over 10 pages waiting for review and new page reviewers haven't done anything about it. 2. I started doing a lot of edits involving page moving, reverting vandalism and page creations because I needed to explore other types of edits I could carry out and not just stick to adding information on pages. I have given reason for the page move I made on Ifeanyi Okowa on its talk page and its a good reasonAghachi7 (talk) 10:29, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
Ethnicelebs.com as a source
editHi Aghachi7. I noticed that you recently used ethnicelebs.com as a source for information in a biography article, Annie Ilonzeh. Please note that there is general consensus that ethnicelebs.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. (See User_talk:XLinkBot/RevertList#EthniCelebs.com). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 20:29, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Samsonolatunde.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Samsonolatunde.jpg, which you've attributed to Samson Olatunde. Watermark says "E-mage Nation". I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:42, 21 August 2018 (UTC)

An offer to assist
editHello Aghachi7, I'm Indy beetle. I couldn't help but notice the discussion over at ANI and saw you say "I have dedicated my work to solely the Wikipedia:WikiProject Nigeria and I have been left to fend for the project myself...The project is literally in comatose." As one of the few (and active) members of WikiProject Democratic Republic of the Congo I sympathize with your position. We do in many ways "work in a vacuum" over in the Africa section (which has its perks), and it's a shame there aren't more people to help us out. My specialty lies a little further south of the Sahara (and more political and historical) but I would like to offer you my assistance. A recommendation I have is compiling a list of reliable sources (as was started here) and posting that to the Nigeria project page. I created a "Library" for the DRC project and it's proven a useful resource from time to time for myself. -Indy beetle (talk) 22:51, 3 September 2018 (UTC)
@Indy beetle: alright I'm in. Give me a couple of days to handle some immediate and pressing matters. But I promise you I'm all in and I assure you of my participation Aghachi7 (talk) 21:10, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adamu Garba II until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Speedy deletion nomination of Ejike Mbaka
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ejike Mbaka, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. DGG ( talk ) 00:03, 4 September 2018 (UTC)
Deletion pending for File:Adamu Garba II.jpg
editHello, Aghachi7. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Adamu Garba II.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. Though there is often a backlog processing messages received at this address, we should have received your message by now.
- If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
- If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:40, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Have you contacted the subjects or representatives of the subjects of any of your created articles
editLet me tell you a short story, some years ago, I created an article for Chelsea Eze, and I needed a photo for it urgently, and was unaware that vod sites such as Ndanitv and irokotv usually release some of their Youtube videos on a free license, so I got her mail from instagram, then explained the situation to her and fortunately she replied. She agreed to license two of her pictures to Wikipedia, which was done through an UTRS representative and I acted as the middle man. The point I'm making is there are legitimate reasons for contacting article subjects, however DISCLOSURE is very important since the motivation of your edits has been brought to question. From what I am seeing, no one has come straight with you, so I will ask you some questions in-order to set the records straight,
- Have you ever communicated with any of the subjects or their representatives of your created articles?
- If yes, can you list them?
- Can you describe the kind of relationship you have with them?
I look forward to your good-faith replies. Regards. HandsomeBoy (talk) 21:49, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Emmy Kasbit
editHello Aghachi7,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Emmy Kasbit for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Requests for uncreated articles
editGreetings & a great weekend to you all. I believe it would be great if the (Requests for uncreated articles) section in our wiki project can be attended to & at least one article be created this weekend as some requests have been pending since 2016. I believe this would be pivotal to the encyclopedia as a whole & a means to get editors who have gone inactive to revive their Wikipedia activities. Sent by Celestina007.
