Thanks for uploading Image:Sammy_Case.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Addhoc (talk) 22:57, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

I am not vandalizing! I am trying to move the page "Smart growth" to "Smart Growth"! I am a newbe and I cannot do it! Could you help me out! I get some errors when I am trying to move the page!
--Larno Man (talk) 02:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Per Wikipedia naming guidelines, Smart growth is the correct name and should not be moved to Smart Growth. I have fixed the redirect issues and Smart Growth now redirects to Smart growth, which is the correct redirect. Thanks. -✰ALLSTAR✰echo02:09, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Oh my...all my WP friends have been hypnotized with these porn star articles. The image is about to be deleted tomorrow. Oh welllll, enjoy it for another day. BTW, you think he's cute? AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 03:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Granted, he's a power bottom and can take a dick like no one else can, he's still "pretty". Nice body, cute face, big dick, mangina like a vacuum. lol -✰ALLSTAR✰echo04:03, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Like no one else can? I know people who could make him look like an amateur. *cough* <<inserts change of subject before he says too much>> So, the weather is nice right now. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 04:05, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Not so much mourning as I am just disappointed. Afterall, I do own just about all his porn on DVD - so the tissue will come in handy. :P -✰ALLSTAR✰echo02:42, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Self care and enabling self care are emerging concepts thus in the edit I have provided a cumalative logical constructive follow through of all the discriptive attributes of self care on yor opening page.
The constructive edit on enabling self care is thus placed under approaches and outlines a road map for those interested in this approach on pressing this title they access this road map

and the rest
the reader will find all the constiuant detailed discriptions of self care covered
The road map suggests mechanisms for institutionalising "self care

You said my edits to List of LGBT couples were vandalism, and gave me a last warning before blocking me. I come here to tell you this is not right. The couples I listed on the list were Sulla and Metrobius aswell as Lord Donia and Petrus Thaborita. Those were historically documented couples. Seriously. It was no vandalism, but a good faith edit you just removed as "vandalism". Consider this, and take care. Thanks in advanche,
Angela from the Blue (talk) 20:08, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Because this is a controversial list, any additions must be properly sourced. Additionally, your recent edit to Template:LGBT shows your actions as otherwise. -✰ALLSTAR✰echo20:22, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Never mind. No hard feelings. Will you be more careful in the future. This is the second time editors apolagied to me on the same day, and both times I was right. People just take comclusions to quickly these days. But again, no hard feelings. Just remove the "vandalism" last warning on my talk page, that is all - I won't do it myself, otherwise it would be "vandalism" aswel... Angela from the Blue (talk) 20:39, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Background for archives: Admin User:Archtransit closed this case I filed without checking sock issues. Archtransit has since been de-sysopped and banned from Wikipedia himself for sockpuppetry. Reopening of case shows inconclusive as to the initial sockpuppets of Deanrules and Deanhowell. 17:21, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for adding Morgan Freeman twice. I wasn't trying to add every person from Mississippi that has been an actor / actress, just some of the big names who have won awards and such. As for authors, there is a "Kevin Sessums" listed in the author section who has written 1 book and hasn't won any awards. I would like to remove this non-famous author and add some other Mississippi authors who have won Pultizers such as Richard Ford or Beth Henley, or multiple published authors such as Richard Wright, Bill Fitzhugh or Greg Iles. The Kevin Sessums author should be listed in the "list of people from Mississippi". Please let me know how I should proceed. Cirlot20 (talk) 22:47, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Aside from having a top selling book, Kevin Sessums is currently an editor at Allure magazine after spending fourteen years at Vanity Fair magazine in that same capacity. Before joining Vanity Fair, he was executive editor for Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine. His work has also appeared in Elle, Travel + Leisure, Playboy, POZ, Out, and Show People magazines. He shall stay. No problems with the other authors but not all of them need to be listed. As it says, it's not intended to be a full list. -✰ALLSTAR✰echo00:10, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Your edits failed to restore the image that the vandal had just taken out of the article before you so I restored to the last version with the image. -✰ALLSTAR✰echo08:14, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi Allstarecho. Regarding this revert, if you want to contest my claim that this assertion isn't in the source, go for it. The reason you provided, however, is not one I can accept, and I see no reason why I'm not entitled to an assumption of good faith. You're partly right, I do think this image is not as pertinent as the others - precisely because it lacks any such context. ITAQALLAH13:17, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
It applies to any statement being verified (i.e. that the image actually is about Muhammad preaching the Qur'an in Mecca), which includes those in captions. The caption you replaced it with which described Muhammad as "... preaching to his early followers" is similarly unverified. ITAQALLAH16:46, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
Since you want to get so technical about what is and isn't taking place in the image, I'll change it to Muhammad forbidding intercalation in newly-conquered Mecca. since that is the interpretation of the explanation of the image at Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris, Arabe 1489 fol. 5v where it is described as "muhammad interdisant l'intercalation" (Muhammed prohibiting intercalation) in the Bibliotheque Nationale on-line catalog. Would that suit you, especially since it can be sourced? -✰ALLSTAR✰echo17:05, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

How does one make a list into several columns in an article? I'm trying to describe what I mean....um, instead of having a long list of names, breaking it up into 3 or 4 columns to avoid making the section too long. This is what I mean by a list being too long. I hope I make sense. AgnosticPreachersKid (talk) 22:55, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

O hi, that was quick. I left it in a shambles to go fact-checking. Shouldn't have left it like that but I thought I'd be right back.
Since you're here, would you mind ansering a few questions?
1 The idea was to add my own info to the entry on the HT4100 under Cadillac V8 Engines, then place it in a new entry. Is that OK?
2 As a newbie I assumed there'd be someplace to get a new entry vetted, but I sure can't find anyplace to do it. If it's just gonna get deleted I won't bother.
3 Virtually all my info comes from personal experience or the testimony of experienced mechanics, but I can't document any of it - there isn't much documentation in the existing entry either. Since this is a 25-year-old issue I don't expect to find much either, but I'm being careful not to include hearsay or false information. The guidelines seemed to say that's OK, but I wonder.
You can't upload any kind of text based files. Only pictures and sound files - and if they have a copyright owned by someone else, then there has to be a very overwhelming reason for uploading it or else it will be deleted.

Didn't mean to vandalize Elizabeth Smart (she's one of my favourite writers and I live in her birth place of Ottawa, Canada). I've read a lot about her (one of my favourite biographies of all time is the Rosemary Sullivan book about her called "By Heart", published in 1986). I rewrote parts of the prose to make the sentence structure a little more polished, but since being told that this is not appropriate, I will do nothing more. (I'm new to the "process" and didn't mean any harm -- I'm really sorry about any trouble that I may have caused).

Hey there, I see you edited my change for Mandy Ashford. From what I can tell from Google searches, she has only done Playboy photo shoots, and has not appeared in any photo shoots or videos with explicit depiction of sexual acts, as defined by the porn section of Wikipedia. Other singers that have posed in Playboy such as Tiffany, Belinda Carlisle, Nancy Sinatra, Debbie Gibson don't have the porn tag with their name.Jmerchant29 (talk) 04:53, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm missing how one can prove they are the originator of a photo that they upload if other's also post them on flicker or elsewhere. Did this get resolved in any way? I'm sorry I had no idea how to help. Benjiboi03:26, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
This is all nothing but a vendetta regarding my attempt to rid WP and Commons of Sanchez copyvio images. It doesn't matter though. I've asked that my images at Commons be deleted and once that's done, I will invoke my right to vanish over there. I won't contribute another one of my images to the project. There's enough games keeping me busy here without having to play them on another Wikimedia site too. -✰ALLSTAR✰echo04:41, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi! I saw that you replaced the contents of these talk pages with a template. I undid your edit; please add the templates without deleting the previous discussions. Thanks. --Tkynerd (talk) 22:56, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
For Jr. Food Mart: Fair Use Rationale notices from July and November 2007 don't need to be there as the images have been deleted.
For Jitney Jungle: The couple of comments, including yours, are from July 2006 and July 2007. Old outdated comments. No need in them being there.
Sorry, I don't want my comments deleted, and that's not your decision. Editing other people's comments on talk pages is poor Wikiquette. Reverting. --Tkynerd (talk) 05:12, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
While I think it's pretty ridiculous to archive a talk page as small as Talk:Jitney Jungle was, I apologize sincerely for missing the fact that you had moved the existing stuff to archive before I reverted you the second time. --Tkynerd (talk) 22:30, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Seriously my friend, check out some of the edits made by a certain "Peres Triana" and you'll see who the real vandal is. To be honest, your behavior is quite childish. At least be man enough to admit that you were wrong (after all you apparently noticed that you had made a mistake by restoring the old version on a couple of pages...Shimon Peres, Gladys Triana Perez). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.52.25.127 (talk) 01:17, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Maybe Scarlet doesn't host the shows anymore. I can't find a pic of her. I know Tara did alot of hosting the last few times I was there, but Scarlet use to be the head queen. Looking through this list, I realized I've seen many of them perform. I use to be a barfly, but no more. Jakki O'Knight hosts the Trailer Trash Drag Night on Thursdays at Flex in Raleigh. If you ever get a change, GO. She is the funniest thing ever and was even on Fox News during the Duke Lacrosse scandal because her cousing was the accuser. I removed your userbox from the Scouting userbox listing, per Content Restrictions on userboxes that are divisive or inflammatory, specifically "Wikipedia is not an appropriate place for propaganda, advocacy, or recruitment of any kind, commercial, political, religious, or otherwise, opinion pieces on current affairs or politics, self-promotion, or advertising." Saying you are against the BSA and support another organization for that reason is divisive. Per the userbox guideline, this isn't appropriate. I'm not disagreeing with the meaning behind the userbox, but the delivery is the part in question. Justinm1978 (talk) 20:16, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
I disagree with that assessment as almost every userbox at Wikipedia:WikiProject Scouting/Userboxes violates that policy via "commercial" (The BSA makes money selling things), "political" (The BSA receives government money and uses government facilities), "religious" (The BSA promotes Christian-only religion and discriminates against Agnostics) and "self-promotion" (the userboxes promote the BSA and many areas of the BSA) aspects. Therefore, User:Allstarecho/scouts is no more divisive or in violation of policy that 98% of the current boxes are. -✰ALLSTAR✰echo20:29, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
You're arguing a red herring and avoiding what is actually being said with the BSA boxes: Nothing in there is promoting the preference of the BSA over another similar organization. Your userbox directly attacks instead of promotes Campfire USA. Per that policy cited above, the correct way to word your userbox would be "This user supports the programs and policies of Campfire USA." No injection of political or religious bias, just simply stating that you prefer the programs of Campfire USA.
Read this sentence, and tell me how your userbox DOESN'T violate this: "Essentially: Express what you like, rather than what you don't like. Express who you are, rather than who you aren't. Express what you do, rather than what you don't." Justinm1978 (talk) 20:47, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Calling someone or something homophobic is an attack. And you didn't explain how the userbox addresses the key sentence above that I am calling your userbox divisive over. Justinm1978 (talk) 20:54, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Sidenote: Educate yourself a bit more about the BSA before making sweeping verdicts that are patently false. They've got a lot of policy problems, I agree, but they are not commercial (501(c)3 non-profit), and by that status they are specifically prohibited from being political (receiving federal subsidies and access to governmental facilities does not make an entity political), and they are not Christian-only by any means (pretty much so long as you profess a belief in a deity, you pass the religious test). As I said, they've got their problems and I wish they'd join the 21st century, but your argument here is incorrect. Justinm1978 (talk) 20:53, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
