Speedy deletion declined: Draft:EMS Agenda for the Future

Hello Amkgp. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Draft:EMS Agenda for the Future, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Content is from a Us gov site, meaning it's in public domain. Thank you. Moneytrees🏝️Talk🌴Help out at CCI! 19:52, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Dear Amkgp,

You had suggested adding more references to the page. I have done that and resubmitted the draft. Kindly take a look at it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karthik CL (talkcontribs) 11:12, 1 August 2020 (UTC)

Editing page Draft:Oliver_Stuenkel

Dear Amkgp, thank you for your response on my editing of the page Draft:Oliver Stuenkel. I have written it again, in order to avoid a copy past of the material. Do you think this is acceptable for the guidelines now? Thank you very much. Best,

Request on 18:43:15, 10 August 2020 for assistance on AfC submission by Sachinrp

I am not sure what Amkgp is looking for. In my first draft, the article was rejected because the reviewer felt that it was copy from the main church site. What I dont understand is, how can facts be stated differently? Let me take an example of this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahatma_Gandhi There is a stated fact that: Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869. I can show multiple references to this fact, so will it makes the articles in violation of copying? Fact stated is a fact. I have mentioned the facts about the church, based on the information that is known by word of mouth to all in this church area. I have lived through the changes all these years. Plus I have mentioned the reference for: https://www.dioceseofmangalore.com/parishes1/k/1145-kelarai for the church page. This is so demotivating and a pain.

Sachinrp (talk) 18:43, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Sachinrp, It is not mentioned anywhere that it has been rejected for copy paste reasons. It is declined because the subject does not cite any WP:RELIABLE sources to certain its notability. Please read the decline message carefully before posting. You have cited the rejection message for Draft:St Anne Church, Kelarai, Mangaluru. I have declined for Draft:St Anne English Medium School, Kelarai recently ~ Amkgp 💬 18:48, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Symbolon

You forgot part of the DYK credits when you promoted Template:Did you know nominations/Symbolon to the prep. SL93 (talk) 04:34, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

SL93, I have added you as {{DYKnom|Symbolon|SL93}} in prep credits. Thanks ~ Amkgp 💬 04:38, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
I understand that, but you forgot to add {{DYKmake|Symbolon|Jg2904|subpage=Symbolon}} above that. The article creator needs credit too. SL93 (talk) 04:39, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
SL93,   Done Thanks for bringing it to my notice. ~ Amkgp 💬 04:41, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Prep 5

Hi, I see you're promoting a lot of my nominations. Please be aware that we don't list two nominations (either DYKmake or DYKnom) by the same editor in the same set. So one of my nominations will have to be moved out of Prep 5.

Also, please remember to copy the entire credit line, including the subpage parameter, for each DYK credit. The subpage provides a link back to the DYK nomination template. (You also left off the subpage parameter in Preps 3 and 6.) Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 11:15, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Also, please keep count of the U.S. hooks. There should be no more than 4 U.S.-based topics in an 8-hook set. And try to separate the U.S. hooks if at all possible. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 11:17, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Yoninah, Will keep all of the above next time. Thank you ~ Amkgp 💬 13:54, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Yoninah, I have exchanged on of your nominations from 5 to 6 ~ Amkgp 💬 14:06, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Thank you! Yoninah (talk) 14:10, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Hi again. Take a look at how you've put two biography hooks side by side at the end. You need to alternate the bios and non-bios. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 15:08, 17 August 2020 (UTC)
Yoninah, where ? which one? ~ Amkgp 💬 15:11, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Thanks. Meanwhile, I've had to take apart my Prep 4 set because I failed to notice the special occasion hooks for that date ... Yoninah (talk) 16:40, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Image hooks

Hi, I've had to move a few of your image hooks down in the set because they were dark/blurry/indistinguishable at thumbnail size. Just because a hook is nominated with an image doesn't mean the image is main page-worthy. Additionally, the hook in the number-one slot should be a great hook! Best, Yoninah (talk) 21:56, 17 August 2020 (UTC)

Yoninah, OK ~ Amkgp 💬 04:35, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

--- Another question: Are you trying to promote the oldest nominations on the Approved page first? It seems like you're promoting things that I just nominated or approved. Yoninah (talk) 19:04, 18 August 2020 (UTC)

Yoninah I am promoting top to bottom from the list taking care of alternate bio & non-bio in mind. I have no preference. It may be a mere coincidence. ~ Amkgp 💬 21:35, 18 August 2020 (UTC)
