- I'm not quite sure. Might be an LTA that I battled with over on meta. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:49, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

Um, Blaze Wolf? What are you doing? I just added the missing sig. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 14:20, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

- It wasn't an IP; it was someone who's had an account for over two years and seems to be goofing around (purposely not signing and removing their signature when signed by others!) 199.208.172.35 (talk) 14:27, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- Yep I saw that when you added the sig. Also I won't be making this same mistake again since you're now whitelisted in SWViewer for me. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:29, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

Thanks
Thanks for coming to my defense on my talk page, I appreciate it. I chose not to engage with them as it felt pretty clear they were a sock of a previous editor and were going to be banned soon enough (which they now have been). I try not to feed the trolls when I can help myself, which means not engaging when it would be very satisfying to do so =P Hey man im josh (talk) 19:06, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Hey man im josh: No problem! I didn't know they were a sock until I checked the history of the article they removed stuff from. As soon as I replied I immediately thought, "I probably shouldn't have engaged with this troll". ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:08, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- Ahhh no worries, sometimes it's honest users, and your intentions were good in trying to help them it seemed. I only figured it out because I had history with that specific article. Hey man im josh (talk) 19:09, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Hey man im josh: Ah makes sense. I tend to avoid articles like that as the arguments can get very... political which is something I try to avoid. I usually only edit them if it's undoing vandalism (which was the case for this). I've also been a little fed up with vandals lately due to how much I've been harassed by them (just check my talk pages history). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:12, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- it can be a bit exhausting fighting vandalism sometimes. In that case it was pretty clear to me since they removed 83 references in their removal, most of which were reliable sources. Though, I do also try to stay away from politics.
- Ahhh, you haven't learned to embrace the hate. Don't go seeking it out, but learn to enjoy when people are mad enough to spit venom because you've limited their ability to troll. It's pretty sad, but also pretty funny sometimes what sets people off. Hey man im josh (talk) 20:24, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
- I see what you did there. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:03, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

42.190.135.177
Let's lay off on reverting 42.190.135.177 for now and see if we can get an admin to deal with the "retard" issue and edit warring. I'm already at the point where I can't really edit the page any more lest I risk some kind of 3RR myself. I asked[1] Drmies to look into it, if not and it continues to be a problem I have both a 3RR and ANI report ready to go. —DIYeditor (talk) 20:36, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- @DIYeditor: I reported them to AIV before I reverted them. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:53, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- It's unfortunate they are so belligerent and unable to collaborate because they seem to have some knowledge about the topic. I guess we can see why this person has no account. —DIYeditor (talk) 20:56, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- @DIYeditor: That's a bit rude imo. Yes they were editing unconstructively (and used personal attacks), but that's no reason to say stuff like "I guess that's why they have no account". ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:59, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- Not sure I understand what you mean by rude or how someone not having an account or meeting behavior standards needed for an account is insulting but we can leave it at that. Take care. —DIYeditor (talk) 21:02, 20 September 2022 (UTC)

You've reverted a possible valid edit
Blaze Wolf, You have reverted my edit to EuroTrip without explanation. I've made what I thought was a valid update in-good-faith. Could you please review and let me know what I did wrong? rottentomatoes.com changed how they report audience scores and now use 1-100 percent scores. Thank you. Crazyloop NY (talk) 22:03, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Crazyloop NY: My bad, I thought you had added the audience score which I don't think is allowed per WP:UGC but I could be wrong. Feel free to revert. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 22:13, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- The audience score was already there, I was only updating how it's dispayed. Specifically, what part of WP:UGC are you talking about? The general audience reception seems apt for a movie article. In fact I would bet that there are many movie pages that are using rottentomatoes as a reference like this one is. Crazyloop NY (talk) 22:40, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Crazyloop NY: WP:UGC says this: "Although review aggregators (such as Rotten Tomatoes) may be reliable when summarizing experts; otherwise, their ratings based on the opinions of their users are not." (emphasis added). LIke I said I could be wrong. Regardless you can revert my edit. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#654mpvie crutics 5 22:42, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- Crazyloop NY, Blaze Wolf is correct. Wikipedia articles about films should summarize how professional movie critics assess the film. User generated polls of random ticket buyers are not acceptable. Cullen328 (talk) 22:48, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oh good I was interpreting that correctly. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:21, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf Mea culpa, twice actually. First, the article states “Rotten Tomatoes gives EuroTrip a 47% rating based on 120 reviews, and an average of 5.1/10.” I mistakenly thought the second figure was an outdated audience score. Actually, it is another way they report critical reviews. BTW, it’s actually 5.4/10. So there is a minor error that could be fixed.
- Second, you are absolutely right to follow the content guideline, and you were correct to revert my changes. I’ve looked and compared this page with other more current movie articles and they seem to report the critical response in much the same way.
- And so, in the future, if you need to revert one of my changes, do so, then next fill out the edit summary explaining why. Or you could send me a Talk. I’m new and still learning and I crave feedback. Thanks for your Help! Crazyloop NY (talk) 17:50, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

- @Blaze Wolf That would be helpful because in this example (Reverted edits by Crazyloop NY (talk) to last revision by 2601:CB:427F:817D:F11A:7C9A:3381:26E5: WP:UGC) does not tell me why. Crazyloop NY (talk) 17:58, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
- Ah. In that case I provided a link to the relevant policy that I applied in that edit, which was WP:UGC. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:00, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf No, I disagree, You provided an acronym of a link to the relevant policy. Now that you point it out, I see it plain as day but how is a new user supposed to understand? Especially when it follows a string of what seems to be nonsensical alphanumerics. It’s practically camouflaged. Anyway, if I see something like that again I’ll examine it more closely. Crazyloop NY (talk) 18:17, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
- Oh did I not link it? That was a mistake on my part. It's meant to be a link and not just the shortcut. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:18, 21 September 2022 (UTC)

Sivakarthikeyan
Excuse me @Blaze Wolf: sir. Thanks for the message regarding to this edit to Sivakarthikeyan . But then it is obvious that he is also called by the name SK by his fans. Actually that is his common name. His films are also tentatively titled as SK21, SK22 which was later retitled as Prince and Maaveeran. In the page Sivakarthikeyan it is also mentioned that "Sivakarthikeyan (born 17 February 1985), also referred to as SK, is an Indian actor, singer, film producer, lyricist, and television presenter, who works predominantly in Tamil films." That clearly indicates from the line itself that his other name is SK too! Cheers. 2001:8F8:1825:9FBB:9157:F164:4616:47CC (talk) 08:40, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

Dispute over purported Roy Orbison master tape sources
Greetings, Blaze Wolf, I am new to the Wiki editing process, but have 37 years (as of August 2022) employment in the audiophile reissue market.
The DCC/Steve Hoffman claim of using the Roy Orbison's Greatest Hits original two-track analog tape sources has been disproven, per the two Sony mastering engineers (who would have made the analog tape copies for DCC) and Sony vault services technicians who supplied the original two-track analog sources to Battery Studios at 321 W 44th St. If you wish I can supply the names of the aforementioned individuals in an anonymous format of your choice. Apologies in advance for any delays in responding as I hold full-time employment plus multiple audio engineering related commitments.
Thank you,

Apologies. As I stated, I am new to this process. Do I move this to the Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents page instead? I am unaware of the proper protocol but am trying to follow them. Blindly, as it turns out. -2milgroove 2milgroove (talk) 15:28, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- @2milgroove: What? No! Please do not take this to ANI. This isn't an issue that needs an administrator. Please keep this to the relevant talk page of the article. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:34, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

Edit treated like possible vandalism
I've noticed that when you reverted one of my edits on the Minecraft page(Explanation was reasonable), you labeled it as a minor edit and used WP:RW, a counter vandalism tool, as if it was vandalism when it did not appear to be. Can you offer an explanation? Quinnerwinner12 (talk) 17:50, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Quinnerwinner12: Hello! I usually use RW for reverting edits in general since I find it much easier to use than simply pressing undo. IN fact, under WP:ROLLBACKUSE it states this: "If a tool or manual method is used to add an appropriate explanatory edit summary (as described in the Additional tools section below), then rollback may be freely used as with any other method of reverting." It's never intended as vandalism (since usually if it is I just press a different button that's one of many common rollback reasons, including one that is used if the edit is vandalism). All edits I perform using I think either rollback or RW are marked as minor by default and I have no control over that to my knowledge. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:55, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

Jamaica Bay | Ecology Section
I noticed that you rolled back a recent edit to the Jamaica Bay page in the Ecology section, which had previously been flagged as "This section does not cite any sources". While attempting to flesh out the sources for this section as part of one of my courses, I came across a section from a government report from 1996 - https://www.nodc.noaa.gov/archive/arc0034/0071981/1.1/data/1-data/disc_contents/document/wp/jb_form.pdf". While the content included in the Wikipedia article is valuable, it has been provided without a citation, and quotes almost directly from the original source. While I'm new to Wikipedia, my understanding is that large tracts of copied text are frowned upon and should be paraphrased and cited appropriately. Do you disagree?
The original source:
"The location of Jamaica Bay and Breezy Point and the rich food resources found there make it a regionally important fish, wildlife, and plant habitat complex. Jamaica Bay is located adjacent to the confluence of the New York Bight and New York Bay, and is at the turning point of the primarily east-west oriented coastline of New England and Long Island and the north-south oriented coastline of the mid-Atlantic coast. This geographic location acts to concentrate marine and estuarine species migrating between the New York Bight portion of the North Atlantic and the Hudson-Raritan Estuary. Shorebirds, raptors, waterfowl, landbirds, and various migratory insects are concentrated by the coastlines in both directions. These migratory species are further concentrated by the surrounding urban developed land into the remaining open space and open water of Jamaica Bay. Jamaica Bay and Breezy Point support seasonal or year-round populations of 214 species of special emphasis and listed species, incorporating 48 species of fish and 120 species of birds, and including the following federally listed and state-listed species.".
Wikipedia section:

Brooklynbiology (talk) 18:57, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Brooklynbiology: I reverted it because you had said it was copied from the source which, while it's similar, they aren't the exact same. I'd ask an admin about this to see if it would classify as a copy vio. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:17, 24 September 2022 (UTC)
- Will do - Thanks for your reply. There should at the very least be a citation for this section, and some paraphrasing would be appropriate IMHO. Brooklynbiology (talk) 19:24, 24 September 2022 (UTC)

I saw you undid some talk page vandalism just now. I've done the same with an ip. As I'm new here, can I ask if its ok to undotalk page comments if it's obvious vandalism? It's not something I've come across so far. Thanks. Knitsey (talk) 20:16, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Knitsey: Yep. If the talk page comment contributes absolutely nothing to an existing conversation (or isn't relating ot contributing to the article at all) you can remove it. You can also remove talk comments if they violate WP:NOTAFORUM ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:18, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- Another reason would be if the talk comment isn't in English (unless another user has already responded to them in the other language, possibly communicating with them or telling them to please speak English but in another language). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:19, 26 September 2022 (UTC)

- No problem! I always get a notification when someone edits my talk page (usually mean they add a message to my talk page or are reply but that's not always the case) so I know when someone is looking for a response here. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:27, 26 September 2022 (UTC)

Hercules Mulligan
Hi, I attached a link to Hercules Mulligan within the Census records for New York. How come this was rejected?
I also attached a link to the Manumission Records which show Hercules wasn`t a founder member of the New York Manumission, as per the previous comment. How come this was also rejected. I`m only trying to put correct printed fake news.

Just a quick note
If someone is edit warring to put vandalism back on their user talk (or elsewhere), don't revert-war with them; bring it up at AIV and get them blocked (and get their TPA pulled). Problematic text being on the page for a short while is much easier to deal with than 25 reverts that then need hiding. Primefac (talk) 19:56, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Also, it's generally better to request a CU through SPI rather than emailing CUs directly - there is more transparency and allows for more eyes on the situation (which is incidentally why I'm the one posting here, because of a 2O request). Primefac (talk) 20:04, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- While I'm here, less for Blaze and more for anyone else who reads this: Please also don't edit war when vandals / LTAs / etc blank their warnings or even block templates. That's allowed under WP:BLANKING and I see so many cases where patrollers escalate things by warring over it, then demand TPA be revoked for something that was allowed all along. -- ferret (talk) 20:04, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Primefac: Hello Primefac, to address your first thing, I usually don't try and edit war with user talk vandalism. If the user is harassing me I would prefer to revert it since it's harassment. Second, the reason I emailed a CU was because I didn't think it was a matter that would be appropriate for SPI due to the situation. Also, ferret I thought removing block templates wasn't allowed under WP:BLANKING? ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:38, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Also, with the situation I encountered, AIV would've been useless since the users were already blocked and so the bot would just remove the reports instantly. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:39, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I forgot the bot operates that way; still plenty of on-wiki venues that will probably be faster than an email, for what it's worth. Hell, half the time people post at ANI 2.0 because there are so many tps that it gets handled pretty quickly. Primefac (talk) 08:41, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Removing declined appeals, while the block is still active, is off limits. You can remove block notices all day long if you want. You can also remove declined appeals once the block expires. -- ferret (talk) 20:46, 28 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Ferret: Ah alright that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up for me. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:48, 28 September 2022 (UTC)

You reverted my edit on "Sherlock: the game is now"
I made those edits because the brand name has changed and as the marketing team working with them we are attempting to realign their brand name across the internet. The company now goes by "Sherlock: the official live game" as seen on their homepage on their website https://www.thegameisnow.com/ (domain to be changed soon).
My edit was the first line on Sherlock the game is now I changed it to: "Sherlock: The Official Live Game (formerly known as Sherlock: The Game is Now) is an escape room based on the television program Sherlock." which i don't believe breaks any of the content policies.
We also need the name of the Wikipedia page changed to Sherlock: The Official Live Game 77.107.154.122 (talk) 16:03, 29 September 2022 (UTC)

Question from Niles Gerster (18:10, 29 September 2022)
Hi, I just signed up, though I am a long time visitor and supporter. there is just one additional word I seek to add, specifically to the article concerning Mr. Peter Sklar(full name Peter Seidman Sklar). This is because I encountered some difficulty following up after reading your article, as there are numerous Peter Sklars out there, some of whom with similar interests. My thought was that this might confuse individuals attempting to get in touch with or find out more about him. Lo and behold, I have discovered that--most likely for this reason--his. full name now appears all his websites and other digital preserves. (I also found out, via a chat with him, that he had dropped the middle as perhaps being too ethnic for the diversified audience he seeks to reach and teach. But he has apparently come around to changing this view.) So, for clarity's sake, I want to add the middle name "Seidman" to a) the top title "Peter Sklar"_b) the opening paragraph, and c) the photo caption. Please advise. Thank you. --Niles Gerster (talk) 18:10, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Niles Gerster: Hello Niles! In order to add the middle name you'll need to show that it is his middle name via reliable sources. I'll leave a welcome message on your talk page with information that can help you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:13, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, Blaze, I had already read all the guidelines and so forth before posting my question. My hope was that you would visit the article in question, click on the links it contains--which would demonstrate that Peter Himself verifies that it is his name--and. if that is not enough "proof," that you would advise me on the kinds of things acceptable as verification. Instead, you directed me to policy. I'm just attempting to clarify things, not undertake a major project. It is not as if I have an investigator on call, or anything. Could you take a look? Could you check out the links? Could you advise me, please, as to what things you would require or accept as verification? I'd be most grateful if you could. Niles Gerster (talk) 21:06, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Niles Gerster: Could you possibly link what article you're referring to? ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:08, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Niles Gerster: Thanks for the link. What refs are you referring to? ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:14, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- At the bottom of the page there are TWO LINKS. One for his personal website "The Sklar Principal," and the other for the workshop he runs, called "Beginnings." On each of them he now employs his full name. So these are refsfrom the ultimate source. Niles Gerster (talk) 21:19, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Niles Gerster: Alright. I'm not able to view the refs myself at the moment for reasons I will not elaborate on. Maybe one of my talk page watchers/stalkers could look for me? ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:24, 29 September 2022 (UTC)

Niles Gerster, I have added his middle name to the first sentence of the article because we give complete names there. But I will not add it to the article title because Wikipedia:Article titles says Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's "official" name as an article title; it generally prefers the name that is most commonly used (as determined by its prevalence in a significant majority of independent, reliable English-language sources)
and pretty much all of the independent reliable sources call him Peter Sklar. Cullen328 (talk) 21:44, 29 September 2022 (UTC)

Your bot reverted my legitimate edit on Johan van Stratum
It's a small CORRECT update on a page clearly not kept up-to-date for many years.
You don't even know who this guy is, but auto-revert any edit without citation?? Call it vandalism? The nerve.. "Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Johan van Stratum. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted." Now that's just plain rude, who the hell does this bot think it is?
The whole section I made a slight CORRECT update to has no citation, so why would I have to? 217.103.10.138 (talk) 18:29, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- If you're referring to ClueBot NG it's not my bot. Also, your edits had no source at all. You having the knowledge of them is just WP:OR ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:32, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- So having the right information on a page is apparently irrelevant?
- Your revert misinforms people, maybe take a step back and remember the purpose of this site.
- This whole section has no sources, and is factually INCORRECT, but it can stay and my edit cannot.
- Absolutely genius. 217.103.10.138 (talk) 18:54, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

- Alright then. If you were just deleting it because it was "factually incorrect" even if it was sourced then I would object because Wikipedia doesn't care if something is "factually incorrect" according to one person. Wikipedia covers what is supported by reliable, secondary sources. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:13, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

- 3O Response: This page was mentioned as being part of the Talk:Johan van Stratum dispute so I am just acknowledging that I am aware of and have read this part of the dispute, and letting you know that I have responded on the article's talk page and I think further discussion should continue there instead of being split amongst several talk pages. - Aoidh (talk) 02:34, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

NOSM Univ Change Oct 3, 2022
Hi there - I actually work at NOSM Universty and the reason I made that change is because no one at the instituion calls it Northern Ontario School of Medicine University. None of the branding, none of the communications and in fact we have been instructed to only refer to ourselves as NOSM University.
If it could be changed that would be great. In addition, if the title of the article could be moved to NOSM University that would be an even bigger help. I tried to submit a technical request but I think I flubbed it.
Happy to provide whatever proof you require that I work there. Mmcarthu (talk) 15:19, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Mmcarthu: Hello carthu! Since you work at the university that means you are being WP:PAID to make your edits (if I'm misunderstanding what this policy is please tell me talk page watchers) and that you have a conflict of interest. You must declare that you are being paid according to Wikipedia's TOS. Also, the correct place to submit a technical request would be at WP:RMT and not on the actual article. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:24, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- Phew! The barrier to entry here is pretty high. I have no issue declaring a conflict since it clearly exists but since I have no idea how to do any of what you mentioned I guess I'll just leave the incorrect information where it stands.
- Is there a "Beginner course" on how to engage in the manner you describe? Mmcarthu (talk) 15:27, 3 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Mmcarthu: Actually, most of it is simply done through templates, and the RMT page has instructions on how to request a move. On WP:RMT it says this: "To list a technical request: edit the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the top of the list, filling in pages and reason: {{subst:RMassist|current page title|new page title|reason=reason for move}} This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page." Also, to declare that yo uare being paid simply add {{paid|employer=ACME|article=Example}}, with the "Employer" being your company (in this case NOSM University) and the article being a link to the University article. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:33, 3 October 2022 (UTC)

Your user page
Hi Blaze Wolf! I just wanted to give you a heads up that I added indefinite semi protection to your user page for both editing and moving. I saw in the edit filter log that someone attempted to vandalize your user page; luckily, an edit filter put a stop to it. I realized from the log that your user page was completely unprotected, so I went ahead and fixed that for you. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like that protection removed from your user page, please let me know. :-) Cheers - ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:48, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

Speedy nomination of User:Rsummers9/Pattie Gonia
Hi @Blaze Wolf. I'm curious about your speedy nom of User:Rsummers9/Pattie Gonia, which was being used by User:Rsummers9 to draft a bio about Pattie Gonia. I'm not sure why the content they had - basically a list of links - was promotional

- @Ian (Wiki Ed): It wasn't because it was promotional specifically but because it was a list of links that seemed to serve no purpose other than to be a list of links. If I had known it was for an article they were drafting for Wiki Ed I would've left it alone (in fact, usually I've noticed it's in a bibliography subpage). I'm sure you could ask Explicit to undelete it for that purpose. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:03, 5 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Blaze Wolf Thanks. And you're right - it should have been on their bibliography subpage. If it's ok with you, I'll undelete it. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:08, 5 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi Blaze Wolf,

I am trying to edit a article for a few times, but all of them have been delete buy administrator. I am confused what is the right way.

Important Update
Hello all. First, I'd like to thank everyone who has complemented me on my anti-vandal work, I really appreciate all the support. Second, I will be temporarily quitting anti-vandal work because of all the harassment I've received on my talk page from vandals. It's not going to be a permanent thing, just until things calm down a little. I'm going to try and focus mainly on content creation and maintenance for the time being (however if I come across vandalism in my watchlist I'll still revert it) since I'd say that probably the majority of my edits are simply just anti-vandal work. Thanks for understanding all. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 12:45, 6 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi there
About Tekken 5, I played both PS2 and PSP ports but not the PS3 one. If you think Dark Resurrection should stay, I agree. Still, after Tekken 6 became GA, I wonder if 5 is also lacking something to become GA too. I kinda edited 5 recently since it was my first game of the series but I think it has prose issues. Feel free to revise anything. Cheers Tintor2 (talk) 23:17, 6 October 2022 (UTC)

Clarification for 16th of September
You may have been confused by me on the 16th of September when I went against consensus on the Minecraft page. If you looked at the edit, it still said that it was "Virtually infinite", just with some extra info. Truth was, I forgot to state what the consensus was and on my talk page when I said "Didn't know that was part of the consensus" I meant that I didn't know that the edit was against the consensus. Me not stating the consensus confused us both. The consensus will remain in your favor because you stated that it was unsourced on my talk page. We both have a problem with the same IP-user 195.224.241.178 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) ,though I am their main target so far.
Here are some of their reverts:
- "almost" -> "all but" [2]
- "ease" -> "assuage", "courage" -> "fortitude [3] (Thank you for your rightful edit war)
- "bad" -> "desultory" [4]
- "of them" -> "thereof" [5]
- "limited" -> "hamstrung" [6]
This user wants me to believe that I am just unable to understand some nuances in language because I am not a native English speaker. In psychology this is known as gaslighting. For example in this revert they instruct me: "don't change meanings that you don't understand". Is "all but dissappeared" a stronger or weaker version of "almost disappeared"? If last year I saw 100 pigeons in the park, and now I see only 5, then I can say "They almost disappeared", but what if if their number reduced to 2? Should I say: "They all but disappeared"? The IP claims that I might as well replace "fifteen" with "fiveteen". [7]. No, I would never do it. "fiveteen" may sound more logical for non-native speakers but it is ungrammatical, though in fact it is an obsolete form of fifteen. Any discussion with that user makes no sense. I have always taken Wikipedia seriously and, after 15 years of editing, I feel disappointed. There are too many narcissists and psychopaths here, and they prey on people like you and me. 85.193.215.210 (talk) 14:47, 13 October 2022 (UTC)

for your own good (I guess)
how did it go from "This user is feeling stressed and may choose to do less stressful tasks" (or something along those lines) to "This user is feeling depressed, stress, and mental breakdowns". I think you should take a short wikibreak or at least decrease the amount of editing you do because it is A LOT. Abdullah raji (talk) 14:47, 24 October 2022 (UTC)
- @Abdullah raji: It's not necessarily relating to Wikipedia but stuff going on outside of Wikipedia. It's mostly passed now so I should probably remove the template. Also while I appreciate the suggestion of taking a Wikibreak or decreasing the amount of editing I do, I will not take the suggestion. Just because I edit a lot doesn't mean I should take a Wikibreak or decrease the amount of editing I do. I took a semi-Wikibreak a while back from anti-vandalism work due to the amount of harassment I received here on my talk page (I only undid vandalism I saw in my watchlist). ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:50, 24 October 2022 (UTC)

BKFIP edits from England. It's highly unlikely that the IP you suspected as BKFIP was BKFIP, not only because they edited from a standard ISP in the US, but also because their style was not at all characteristic of BKFIP.--Bbb23 (talk) 15:23, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes. I know that they tend to edit from England, however I wasn't going to deny the fact they the could use a VPN (that wouldn't be detected as a proxy somehow), however I did still have doubts that it was BKFIP. As I stated it was similar, but not similar enough, however I'm not experienced enough with recognizing LTAs to know for sure, so I just mentioned it as a possibility, unlikely but a possibility. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:26, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

Dustbins of history
Sorry, it was just a joke (blame it on boredom !) ; the rest is serious : may someone go ahead on this, as we need some epistemology - I'm not expert but I think it's sounds like it's a good way. I dig only in one (serious and very interesting) paper : Christian Godin, "La figure et le moment du scepticisme chez Hegel" (2004, in French) ; I don't know if he would agree that I quote him on this (he is still alive, about 70 or more), because the paper is not precisely on this subject, but not so far ; if you know anyone that could read this (easy to find and free on the net) it would be a serious improvement to this page (but could fall out of the question too) : I know that WP may not be the Bible or too technical but I'm convinced that it's possible to do some good non vulgar vulgarisation (I facts, I think we need or we shall do this, but I'm not the pope or god in the sky) ; best regards and apologies, JPJ.2A01:CB1C:8A0:CE00:B802:13BA:9754:6F6C (talk) 19:14, 26 October 2022 (UTC)

- I saw. I really don't think we should be using primary sources here however they are official sources so I dunno. I don't really know how stuff like this works because I don't really like football. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:15, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- The official team's website or Twitter source would be fine. Otherwise, ESPN is junkmail at reporting official trades, picks or drafts, it has to come an announcement made by the official football team. Sarrail (talk) 23:17, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- According to wikipedias policy, sources like ESPN, CBS, and even the NFL website isn't reliable, It's only the trading teams social medias, or their websites. Sorry 'bout that. 45BearsFan (talk) 23:17, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- Alright fair enough. As i said I have no clue how stuff like this works but if that's what it has to be then that's what it is. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:20, 1 November 2022 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker) @45BearsFan You may use a WP:PRIMARY or WP:SELFPUB source if the fact it cites is non controversial and the deployment of such sources is minimal. You should seek to replace those questionable sources as soon as a better one comes along. It would be worth documenting intent on the talk page if you use a poor source 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 23:23, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- Ah alright. Although apparently any other source besides the official one is not appropriate in this case? ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:24, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- That is a matter of judgement. The more questionable the source the less wise it is to use it. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 23:26, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- so not the team's website, but like espn is reliable? 45BearsFan (talk) 23:26, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- ESPN would probably be not notable, the team's Twitter page/source might be an example for announcements and a possible draft, or trade, or whatsoever. Sarrail (talk) 23:27, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- Not reliable* ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:28, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- I'd love to give you a definitive answer. That sport and its sources are not my field, so all I can d is to give generic guidance and trust your interpretation of that guidance, 45BearsFan. - 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 23:28, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- The fundamental question is "Is this fact susceptible to challenge?"
- If it is, you should not use a questionable source, and the fact cannot (yet) be stated
- Remember, we are not a news outlet. We do not have to get in first with current events. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 23:34, 1 November 2022 (UTC)

Archiving
Good news, Spf121188's archiving worked as intended.
Bad news, it removed the comments from the template at Spf's talk page and at my talk page after I added them as well. Sooo I guess we can't add comments to that template. Hey man im josh (talk) 14:01, 27 October 2022 (UTC)
- Hm, alright then. We could probably either add them before or after the template. I would assume the bot automatically looks to see if the template is correct and will fix it if it detects something that shouldn't be there. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:17, 27 October 2022 (UTC)

Yandere Simulator
I made a post on the Yandere Simulator's talk page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Yandere_Simulator regarding an issue which may require your attention. A troll link may have avoided detection and is still present on the page. 2A02:1810:4F0B:500:190E:351E:6374:3DFD (talk) 00:52, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for bringing this to my attention IP. I've removed it as it's a completely pointless ref that backs up nothing and is just there to be there. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 01:50, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
could you please explain what the exact problem of my edits.SonoCat (talk) 17:01, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- You removed {{lead too long}} without addressing the issue and instead you appear ot have made the issue worse by making the lead even longer. I suggest you propose the changes yo uwant to make on the talk page so other editors can review them since it's difficult to determine how good an edit is when it's all made in 1 giant edit with no edit summary. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:05, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- The article's includes a template that said that the lead section was be too long for the length of the article. So I moved some sections from the lead to a new section under the name "Cultural influence" [9], why you consider these edits as nonconstructive edits?. I can return the {{lead too long}}.SonoCat (talk) 17:10, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Really? Because from what I see you move stuff from other parts of the article into the lead. Either that or I was looking at the diff wrong. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:11, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- No; I moved some sections from the lead to a new section under the name "Cultural influence" [10], i added also new sourced materiales under "Cultural influence" section and other sections, but in the leade.SonoCat (talk) 17:14, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Could you self revert your edit?, I can complete the edit, and move another paragraph from the lead to the inside of the article?SonoCat (talk) 17:23, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- I get the feeling you're not being truthful with me. According to Special:Diff/1118747493 you added more content to the lead. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:44, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Check the new version [11]; is the lead section still too long for the length of the article?SonoCat (talk) 18:03, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- @SonoCat: Yes that looks better. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:52, 28 October 2022 (UTC)

I'm sorry you are not familiar with the MOS and English grammar, so cannot recognize constructive edits. Thanks, though. 2603:8080:B200:5CDE:9C38:ADF5:39AF:3EA6 (talk) 20:43, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
- Well that's a little rude. Your edits were not inline with English grammar. The comma should be there and there is no dash in "high quality". ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 22:05, 28 October 2022 (UTC)
DYK for Need for Speed Unbound
On 29 October 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Need for Speed Unbound, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the title for Need for Speed Unbound was accidentally revealed early on Electronic Arts' website? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Need for Speed Unbound. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Need for Speed Unbound), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Learning to review
A number of us track our AFC reviews. It may help you to follow a random selection from mine: User:Timtrent/AfC log. I'm happy to discuss a random half dozen or so if you feel that will help you. I am by no means perfect, but I get a strong proportion right 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 15:39, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks Timtrent! I actually tend to come across AFC submissions while patrolling recent changes (and sometimes its tempting to just immediately decline them myself since it's clear that it would not survive an AFD) however I usually don't see reviewed ones. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:44, 31 October 2022 (UTC)
Finding articles to edit
You sent an edit by a Vandal editor to CSD. For some reason I noticed it. Yampupata was the outcome. I have no idea of the smallest thing about it, but I worked at making it an acceptable start of article based on w:de:Yampupata.
Note the attribution in the edit summary and on the talk page.
