Thank you
Thanks for the reply - I re wrote it. I wrote to him and admins.
The way I previously wrote it may have mislead one to think its a club? I put the word "club" in there once I think with 95% of the content describing that it was A Country's national sport team. I dont know - Im an Amateur writer :( In regards to Tag20 rugby, on the contrary it is a notable sport, Tag 20 rugby is Tag Rugby. Tag rugby and Tag football has many variations with codes depending on which country. Perhaps he should of read up a little more before saying that. Would be nice just have some direction and suggestions from the pros for newbies rather than blatant deleting. It took me ages to find myself around here just to reply and read everything. I write with good faith abiding with rules and policies.
Thank for taking the time to write back! - sorry about my carry on :)

Some suggestions for your adoption school
Hello Bmusician! I just saw on your adoption page the topics covered in your adoption school. As one of your adoptees, I'd like to improve the adoption school you have. Here's my suggestion:
- I just saw that the user access levels are NOT covered in your adoption school. These user access levels tell a user what benefits an editor gets if he is in one of the user access levels, say, being an administrator. Also, I'd like to improve the adoption school by adding a topic about IP users. Sad to say, IPs are discriminated by some editors such as ignoring a good faith edit by an IP. Could you consider my suggestion so that editors in your adoption school learn about these?
- Also, if your answer is NO, tell me. Hope I have a good suggestion! Jedd Raynier wants to talk with you. 06:46, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
P.S. You may give the test now (in my adoption page).

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lee Newton
You closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lee Newton as Keep, but didn't say why. As none of the Keep arguments were guideline or policy based, and were all pretty dire. - Just because the keep !votes didn't link to policy and guidelines, doesn't mean that that they weren't policy/guideline based. The delete !votes didn't seem to be grounded in policy either. Because I have promised earlier that I would reverse any AFD closure that caused controversy to anyone for a valid reason, I have reversed it. Let's see what consensus can be built afterwards... - My connection to Wikipedia has been bad enough this evening, but I have taken a look. I think this editor is intentionally trying to disrupt Wikipedia - he has been told many times to cease and desist, and still continued. Any user who is unfamiliar with Wikipedia could have stopped the first time they were told to stop. What you should do - keep the Michael Jackson page, as well as other pages related to Michael Jackson, on your watchlist, as well as this editor's user and talk page. Point him out to relevant policies and guidelines about his unacceptable behavior, and see if he can actually listen. →Bmusician 00:03, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your help
Thanks for confirming my rough translation of that username at Discospinster's talk page. I didn't make the report to UAA because if you report an account that is already on a block, the helperbot will file it as 'already actioned' -- hence why I just sent a message to Discospinster. My reading ability in Chinese is very basic; I do recognize some characters and judicious investigative use of Google Translate helps me the rest of the way. I've always wondered how Chinese given names are rendered into western equivalents, could you explain? For example how does 文 雄 (Wén xióng), become Peter? Pol430 talk to me 10:36, 4 June 2012 (UTC)
- You're welcome! About the name thing: It's because Wen-shiung Huang has an English name, Peter: it is unrelated to his Chinese name. Many Chinese people adopt an English first name in English-speaking countries. See also, Chinese name. →Bmusician 12:17, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Fellow editors, I just wanted to let you know that I will be taking a break from Wikipedia due to a loss of motivation. {{/dewollAgnitidEoN}}
, which transcludes a subpage, which has unneccessary amounts of <!----> text to determine whether it is April Fools Day :) Very clever, if a bit over-complicated. Also, does the current date stuff depend on the user's local computer time/date, or that of the WP servers?--Gilderien Chat|List of good deeds 12:25, 10 June 2012 (UTC)- I just wanted to make it harder for users to find the original source of my userpage (but did not want to make it entirely impossible). Adoption
Hi Bmusician! i hope your'e doing great :) I was looking for adoption from an experienced user and have also contacted User:Wehwalt regarding adoption but they do not have a formal adoption school and i want support, training and guidance in a formal way too. Bmusician, you are currently one of the most active adopters here with a awesome and successfully running adoption school . I want to be adopted by at least 2 users and i find my co-adopter (that is you) to be well qualified and experienced for this task. I am not actually new here on Wikipedia and not a new user as i have been quite active here for many months now. But the thing is that adoption is really important for me to pass this basic test, earn more experience in other areas of the project and also get to know the adoption process beforehand in case i want to adopt and mentor my own future adoptee's. I am sure that this adoption process will help me become a far more better and experienced editor and you my friend can help me do it. I will be really glad, happy and thankful to have a mentor like you :) and i'm sure that one day you will also be glad, happy and thankful for having an adoptee like me! I'm looking forward to hear from you. Best regards. TheGeneralUser (talk) 10:17, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi there, I was wondering if you were up for adopting just one more :p I saw your name on the list of adopters and I also checked the activity level of a few of the others and they aren't nearly as active as you are so thats why I came here hah. So... I'm hoping you can show me the ropes around these parts. I'm not completely new to wiki(I contribute on a few wikias) but basically just because there's less rules and more freedom over there heh. Anyways, I'm looking to contribute more over here and to do that I think I need to get spun up on stuff mainly so I don't go around and cause other people to work harder out of my ignorance for the rules lol.

Please don't tag articles for speedy deletion as lacking content while the creator is still clearly trying to create content. The editor here quite understandably stopped working on the article as soon as you sent this "fuck off" message. Editor recruitment and retention has been identified as one of our most serious problems, and you are exacerbating it. Phil Bridger (talk) 15:06, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- I waited for more than ten minutes before tagging A3, as said here, and it was not my intention to make an "over-hasty" tagging. Work in progresses need to be worked on in a WP:USERSPACEDRAFT. I never sent a message that consisted of the phrase "fuck off" - if you need to accuse me of doing so, then please at least send me a diff... →Bmusician 22:42, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with Phil Bridger. Works in progress do not need to be worked on in draft space (and I would be interested to read the policy that insists that they do). That's why we have stub templates. I can't see how A3 applies because the article had more than "external links, category tags and "see also" sections, a rephrasing of the title ...". You added the speedy tag to the article at 00:39 (by my view of the history), which was one minute after the most recent article edit—which is clearly not assuming good faith that the article will be improved (and I'm going with that as a definition of "over-hasty"). Although strongly stated, I agree that the tag did risk functioning as a "fuck off" message (as it sadly now seems to have done). I'm curious if you've considered an alternate approach: to help find sources and add article text? Anyhow, I hope this just functions as a gentle reminder that we need to do everything we can to help encourage editors to stay on the project. If you find similar examples in the future, please let me know on my talk page, and I'll do my best to try and improve the articles (as I've just done with the article in question). Cheers. - Thank you GFHandel for pointing my mistake out to me nicely. I will accept that both the tagging was hasty and incorrect. My intention was to tag A1; the article at the state in which I tagged it [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Andhra_Pradesh_Residential_Degree_College&diff=497557426&oldid=497557325 did not have sufficient context to identify its subject. I must have been excessively bitey, and it was not my intention to do that. Although Template:Uw-hasty says it's ok to tag A1 or A3 10-15 minutes after creation, I will from now on only tag A1/A3 if the article is 1) 10-15 minutes old and 2) at least five minutes passed since the last edit. And before tagging A1 and A3, I will try to see if I can improve the article myself (and of course, ask you on your talk page). Thanks again. →Bmusician 05:19, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- This isn't something that can be approached with a numerical formula, but requires the basic common sense to see that a new editor is trying to create an article on an obviously notable topic and is struggling with wiki markup. It doesn't matter whether it's five minutes, five hours or five days since the last edit, as it should be obvious that speedy deletion could not possibly be in the best interests of building this encyclopedia. And the idea that this should have been tagged as with WP:CSD#A1 is simply ridiculous - the context that this is a college in Andhra Pradesh is right there in the article title.
- It worries me enormously that someone who doesn't get these basic concepts should be adopting other editors. Surely it would be better for you to seek adoption yourself until you get the hang of things? Phil Bridger (talk) 12:31, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- I'll admit I made a rather tremendous mistake, and I apologize for that. The cause of that is probably because I had just woke up and couldn't really open my eyes: this is perhaps a "one-time" mistake as I have made correct A1 and A3 taggings in the past; I'll assure it'll never happen again, and have apologized to the creator of the page. On the other hand, your repeated assumptions of bad faith and questioning my competence as a user, Phil Bridger, does not solve any problem. I'm here to improve the encyclopedia: it is and will always be my only reason to edit on Wikipedia. On the other hand, I feel as if you think I am here to unambiguously here to hurt Wikipedia: that isn't and will never be my intention. If you think I have erred in NPP, please be nice and chances are that I will be nice back and learn from my mistake. Thank you. →Bmusician 13:58, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Relisting
Hey Bmusician, thanks for helping with AfD relisting and all, but...you're a bit behind the times. Would you mind relisting those in 2012 instead? Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 20:01, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- I think I caught them all. My bot was getting tripped up by them. Any idea how you got off by a year? -Scottywong| gab _ 23:23, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- It looks like they're still on the 2011 page? Nikkimaria (talk) 23:39, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
- Uh oh, it's caused due to a script malfunction (-.-) Will attempt to resolve this issue as soon as I can. Best. →Bmusician 05:20, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

I nom'd Aigol for CSD as a {{db-test}}
, which you reverted with a comment of "remove speedy - I do not see how this is remotely a test page."
Your next edit had a summary of "needs translation," which I think explains why you didn't see how it was a test page. Translated, the content of the page is:
Aigol is a concept of a Utopia based on Scandinavian legends, which are frequently cited through the stories told in this way.
To me, assuming good faith, a single sentence with no context (and in the wrong language) is someone testing how editing works.
My take, in short: translation doesn't turn this article into something worth keeping. Dori ☾Talk ⁘ Contribs☽ 09:02, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- From my point of view, it didn't seem like someone testing how editing works, it probably is someone who was trying to write about something - in the wrong language, but I do not object to you restoring the speedy tag if you think this page still qualifies as a test page. →Bmusician 09:08, 17 June 2012 (UTC)

Inactivity due to stomachache
I have had far too many recent illnesses... I don't know what caused this one (it's a stomachache, was it something I ate?) but it'll prevent me from editing actively on WP for several days. I have been very anxious about my health recently... sorry for the inconvenience this causes anyone. →Bmusician 16:15, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

- I am incredibly sad and shocked to find out about this - blocked because of competence issues for a year, and for being a sockpuppet. WOW. I will however say that part of this issue is my fault - ever since he finished his final adoption examination, I didn't help him much, and exhausted the efforts of everyone else who tried to help him. I apologize for that. →Bmusician 01:33, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- Don't worry too much Bmusician. It does happen, and it's no failure on your part. What you can do is learn from the events, see if you can use the knowledge for future adoptions. WormTT(talk) 07:55, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
- I won't worry anymore - and I will ensure it won't happen again. →Bmusician 07:30, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
