Suggestion for user script

Hi, I recently installed User:BrandonXLF/ParameterSpacing and it appears to be very useful tool for me. There's a suggestion I'd like to share. Add spaces option before and after vertical bars (|) too. Sometimes, we may have templates embedded within another template. Issues with SubpageMover script

Hi Brandon XLF, while responding to a RM as its closer, I had to move the page Servant of the People to Servant of the People (TV series). I hit the "Move page and subpages" button. This caused every page of the format "Servant of the People XYZ" to move to "Servant of the People (TV series) XYZ". For example, Servant of the People (disambiguation) was moved to Servant of the People (TV series) (disambiguation) (now speedy deleted). And Servant of the People (political party) was moved to Servant of the People (TV series) (political party) (also speedy deleted). Can you please fix this issue? Template Timeline

Hi, I mostly work on Serbian Wiki and lately making pages about Canada, Canada history, RCMP, OPP, Canadas provinces and I found that this template can be quite useful for me than I started to look is anything already exist on Wiki. Today a saw your template: timeline page. I like this template and I tried to make it work on Serbian Wiki, but no success (I have no experience with this type of templates). Subpage mover bug

Hi Brandon! User:BrandonXLF/SubpageMover appears to have a bug—when I tried to move Template:Beeronme to Template:Beeronme, it dropped the colon and instead moved it to TemplateBeer on me, plus it failed to move the doc subpage at all. When I tried to move it from the bad title, it complained I was trying to move it to itself, so the bug is replicable, and when I switched to using the non-gadget mover, it was successful, so it seems to be coming from the script. Resolving it will, of course, earn you a free beer {{u|Sdkb}} ^talk 02:07, 30 March 2022 (UTC)

Looks like the script had some issues handling pages with namespaces, but they should be fixed now. Let me know if you encounter any other bugs. – BrandonXLF (talk) 02:19, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi, I suggest the following edit to User:BrandonXLF/Restorer.js#L-10: window.restorerSummary = window.restorerSummary || 'Restored revision $ID by $USER (Restorer)'; → window.restorerSummary = window.restorerSummary || 'Restored revision $ID by $USER ([[en:w:User:BrandonXLF/Restorer|Restorer]])'; since many users use the script on different wikis other than Wikipedia, so it would be better to have the summary link to the exact correct page on the wiki it's located rather than a red link. Restorer script

Hi BrandonXLF! First of all, I want to thank you for creating such an awesome script! Unfortunately, though, I did find an issue. On the edit history of a given page, when an entry on the history page is of an edit that has been revision deleted, the links after the entry (undo, thank, etc) do not appear. Hence, I'm seeing the "restore" button appear in the list of links that appear after the performing editor's user account or IP address (talk, contribs, etc) in that entry instead. In these situations, it would be better to check if the revision text is rev del'd and, if so, don't have the restore button display on that entry at all.

I've uploaded a screenshot here with the issue highlighted so that you could see it. Obviously, I have a bunch of other custom scrips enabled, which may be causing the issue with this script. However, I used it on many different history pages and in situations that I thought might also break it, and this is the only situation where I found it to break - with rev del'd revisions.

mw-userlink in Restorer.js returns translated text when auto-translation is used

Hi, I have been using Restorer.js globally. During some work I was doing on Marathi Wikipedia, I had to use auto-translation in my browser. I used restorer on an article (see page history). Here, the edit summary says "Restored revision 1313944 by j". "User j" does not exist. In fact, I restored edits of "User ज" whose English translation is "j" and mw-userlink returned the translated string instead of the actual username. I think this is a MediaWiki bug?  Done I've updated the extension to get the username from the server in a separate request. It makes the script a bit slower because of the extra request, but it's not really noticeable since the main request takes much longer to complete. CollapseSections: typo in configuration example

Thanks for this very useful script! I have wrapped it by code to make it optionally activated via a tab. The code is identical to my code snippet User:Sm8ps/SectionEditing listed under Wikipedia:User_scripts/List#Body.

I noticed a typo in the section User:BrandonXLF/CollapseSections#Variables. The configuration variable should read -- of course -- window.collapseSections.

At some point in the nearer rather than further future, .hlist styles will be removed from Common.css and Mobile.css in favor of TemplateStyles. This is a headsup to adjust what this script is doing.
