Sczipo, Per WP:V, all information on Wikipedia needs to have a source. (WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS is not a valid rationale). If you submitted this through Articles for creation, it would have been rejected as needing more sources. Wobbuvahi, when writing about fiction it's important not just to give a plot summary but also critical reception of the book. There needs to be a citation for "Sometimes the incorporation is used for humorous or ironic effect", and that each of the examples you gave is meant for humorous or ironic effect—otherwise it's original research. buidhe 12:25, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Duplicate article

Thanks for reviewing Heinz Raether. Something strange must have happened as we were editing the same article at the same time. The article split into two articles, with the history also split.

I continued editing the original article, not knowing there was a duplicate. Does this problem need to be fixed?

Speedy deletion of CAIT Climate Data Explorer

CAIT is a not only a website but a collection of tools to visualise climate change data from various sources and is often referenced by other sources. Wouldn't this be enough for the significance demanded in A7? I would suggest to revert the deletion. Hedgehoque (talk) 23:26, 31 January 2020 (UTC)

I don't think there is a primary topic, so I would prefer plan Collegium Carolinum to be a disambig page like, for example, in German. Most of the Google results are for it, but that could be recentism (they have a website and publish books, unlike the ones that don't exist anymore)! I must inform you with all due respect that this article is of the chronological list type. For such articles, it is not possible to insert citations, because such citations do not exist. I wrote this article starting from the data presented in the websites which I presented as External links and from the results of my own research on various websites of the authorities that appear for different entities. On the other hand, the sites Rulers and World Statesmen are the most reliable sources in the field of arkhontology which can be easily accessed. @Mr Serjeant Buzfuz: It's advisable to list whenever you are copying content from elsewhere, even if it's public domain. That way the text is attributed to the correct source, and reviewers are not alarmed when there's a match on Earwig. The best way to do it is apparently the {{Source-attribution}} template, which also places the article into the appropriate maintenance category. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz, See WP:NPP for details on what we do, which is basically checking if speedy deletion criteria are met, or else AfDing if the subject is unlikely to be notable. I specialize in articles that don't have inline citations to websites, which is why I've seen so many of your articles.

There are three main ways to get the permission:

• By starting as an Articles for Creation reviewer
• By joining New Page Patrol School
• Asking directly at WP:PERM.

You have a good amount of experience so I'd encourage you to apply directly at WP:PERM and learn as you go, as long as you're reasonably careful it won't be an issue. buidhe 03:45, 15 February 2020 (UTC)
