The Exception Magazine
I don't see why the article was deleted in the first place. The Exception Magazine is one of the most discussed news sites in Maine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rolf19396 (talk • contribs) 05:15, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Amalgam Digital
Can you take a look at the Amalgam Digital page I have set up at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Nancedw/Amalgam_Digital and see if this is an appropriate article. I believe when the article is published to the public users will be able to add more sources and information. thank you Nancedw (talk) 20:16, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Can you remove the COI tag from my article? 71.213.24.112 (talk) 22:41, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- Neither of the high school articles the IP has previously edited, nor User:Nancedw/Amalgam Digital, have a {{COI}} tag. —C.Fred (talk) 23:11, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
For some reason, the last thing I posted had a different user attached to it. I am still trying to figure this wikipedia stuff out. I would like to get the COI tag removed from my article. What do I need to do?Mcbridetm4 (talk) 00:24, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Why was this edited into my request for a page review? Nancedw (talk) 04:43, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

I was just wondering when you were planning on restoring the page. I have not heard back from you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.212.181.219 (talk) 18:19, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- I don't handle OTRS requests, so I won't be restoring it. That's what we're waiting on, per Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2009 January 31. —C.Fred (talk) 20:45, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Little People (band)
Hey, you just deleted my first article on wikipedia. I'm not yet started and already frustrated. I'll put it on a site that doesn't neglect my work. Any way to get my article back to copy it to an really open platform? Thanks --InverseEngineered (talk) 14:16, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, I don't know why I wasn't able to restore the article for copying myself... In fact it wasn't my first article but the first for Little People and as a registered user. I won't understand the restrictive manner of wikipedia theses days, because not everything that's mainstream is interesting, but you were just the first to delete it ... :-(. --InverseEngineered (talk) 16:35, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks a lot C.Fred
- The regulation was made in the assembly of NC and all NC's official public organizations adopted new change. For example, The ministry of Tourism of NC prepared a web site that used "northcyprus" in the address. Also, the private organizations are obliged to use the new form of name and hence web sites addresses of the privates were changed accordingly. For example: http://www.northcyprus.com , http://www.northcyprus.org etc. Also, the ministry's page is http://www.northcyprus.cc Also, almost all private companies completed the name change: For example: The Shipping firm Fergun: http://www.fergun.net Here, in this site, just look at the title page of the web site.
- Unfortunately, there is no BOT in Wikipedia for such kinds of name changes. In the case of NC, it can be done easily. But what if it was a big country !!! Cheapfriends (talk) 16:13, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- The Wiki-users in North Cyprus decided to change the wiki-page (you mentioned where "branding" occured) at the end. The Ministry of Tourism Web site of North Cyprus is http://www.northcyprus.cc . Also, when there is a quick adoptation of the new name: when you just google (http://www.google.com.tr) the "North Cyprus" and "Northern Cyprus", the following hit numbers occur: "North Cyprus": 1 450 000 and "Northern Cyprus": 815 000. But, don't forget to use quotation marks (" ") when googling since only in the quotationed case, the reality is seen very neatly. Thank you very much for your kind interest. Cheapfriends (talk) 16:28, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Dear C.Fred. You have very rightful for confusing, since one foreigner can easily confuse this. The usage is like that: Long Form: "The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" and the Short Form: " North Cyprus". The page you mentioned (http://www.kktcb.eu/index.php) is the Official Page of Presidency of TRNC. Just look at the page http://www.kktcb.eu/index.php and the menu above there once more: The links are: PRESIDENT & PRESIDENCY & PRESS OFFICE & DOCUMENTS & CONTACT & NORTH CYPRUS & E-DIRECTORY & E-LIBRARY. So, you gave the proof just yourself. Thanks a lot: As the legal name change is clear in the menu. Cheapfriends (talk) 16:45, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
- Sockpuppetry issue is not true: According to GC Wiki-users, all North Cyprus Wiki-users are sock. Also, GC users said there are GC Wiki-admins in the list of 1600 Wiki-admins and they can do whatever they want. We complained the situation to the Wikipedia board with a petition, indicating that Wikipedia is not a diary of GC Wiki-users. Cheapfriends (talk) 18:34, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Don't know if you read my response to your concern, but in case the community actions, which I believe met policy, didn't satisfy you, I decided to go through the motions, and the situation has now been discussed at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/VivaNorthCyprus and the user has been added to the banned list.AKRadeckiSpeaketh 17:46, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

Rowdy the Ant
I don't know what the deal is with User:Rowdy the Ant. No less than twice they've taken merge proposals to AFD (easy mistake, but to do it again less than a week after being told not to do it?) and they've spammed the Rollback requests, even attacking an admin in the process. They've also made a lot of rash moves, such as moving pages without consent, placing a block template on an IP page, uploaded lots of images without fairuse rationales despite multiple warnings, made an RFA nom without asking the nominator first, etc. Individually I'd just take these as a case of n00bism, but given that they've made so many mistakes in such a short period of time, is there anything that can be done in a case like this? Hi there. Not totally sure where to take this, as it is only a suspicion, but I wonder whether User:Marketienneschoenmaker, and IP address User:72.165.173.27 are socks of User:Sabine1981? Sabine and the IP were both posting on the article at the same time (and the IP suddenly vandalising my user and talk pages), and then Marketienneschoenmaker appeared and contributed to a discussion with their first edit. I may be seeing links where none occur, so thought i'd mention it to you as you are probably more experienced in this than me. --Ged UK (talk) 13:53, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

Please do not follow throught with the deletion of the Page, If you could hold off for a couple more weeks who will it hurt?? no one. do not demolish a house that is still being built. In time the page will become more notable and better reference.
can you please stop trying to delete this page this is a legitimate short film. we are currently in the process of verifying the legitimacy of our film which will be done by wednessday by uploading screenshots of the film.
- But is it notable per WP:N? I think not. ukexpat (talk) 04:39, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
can you please just leave it until we are able to upload screenshots to verify its legitamacy by tomorrow

what else is required to make it notable?
- Read WP:N and WP:RS to start with. - ukexpat (talk) 04:47, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Louise Glover to be deleted.
Yes, Talk with louise glover herself, she is the living proof. She wants her name completely off this website for good, it's only harmed her career and her mental health. Plus it's ruining her life. This website has very poorly sourced and liable info its lost her loads of great modeling and TV jobs. I'm her manager and this is a fact, I get sent this link all the time saying that louise sounds like she's got too many dramas and quote what they don't like about her, they don't read the small print everything on here can be true or false, and thats what loses her the modeling work. I totally agree with the clients when they say that because I think that when I read the stories, but I totally disagree with the website because totally its inaccurate, the info is repeated and doesn't make sense every time I have been referred to this page. It needs to defiantly asap be a deleted and ended debate for Louise's sake. Regards, Lidia. Please read my response on the deletion guide page. * I believe that this cellist is just as notable as most of the other cellists on the List of Cellists page on Wikipedia. - I have NO idea about that, I'm a grunt worker, not a code writer!! I think, though, that once the older templates are all changed, and proper documentation for the newer template is written, the instructions should be able to explain clearly not to use ID=. The reason the two could not just be combined was because the coding and parameters used were just too different. How that is, I couldn't say. Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:13, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

I found this http://www.tv.com/marcellas-reynolds/person/141006/summary.html which I used as proof of age. I also went CBS.com and couldn't find the page that was once listed as proof. I also went further and found the page listed was deleted by CBS (only can be found at waybackmachine.com) and then corrected by saying "30s" on both seasons of Big Brother. Aside from the age thing why weren't my other changes accepted? Marcellas has done many things and the only thing listed on Wik is negative stuff from Big Brother. Nothing current.

Question about "inline citations."
Most of the changes I made were accepted (yea). There is a note over it that says this: This article includes a list of references or external links, but its sources remain unclear because it lacks inline citations. Please improve this article by introducing more precise citations where appropriate.
How do I add inline citations and also how do I add pictures? I'm sorry to ask you but I can't follow the instructions! They aren't clear for someone computer illiterate! :)

PriyaChandnani sockpuppetry
In response to your question left on this user's talk page, she refers to Enco1984's edits as hers because she IS Enco1984. This user has been indefinitely blocked for a number of disruptive editing practices, but has since become a prolific sockpuppetteer. Not sure if you were trying to get her to confess (the edit summary is itself enough of a confession) or if you were genuinely confused, but in case it's the latter, that's the short version of the long and sordid background. --Icarus (Hi!) 05:26, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi! If I may ask,why is the article regarding Marshall Agbo as a sculptor deleted despite the availability of various sources to verify same, even on the internet. AfD nominations and banned users
Right. I looked at the talk page again; the AfD troll note was an admin's comment in an AfD started by that user, I think. Speedy keep or not doesn't really matter, I hope, since any editor worth their salt will see that the Google News search alone will provide plenty of reason for notability, so I'm not worried. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 03:22, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Hi C.Fred - I see that you've reverted my edits to the Sondra Lim article. Could you take a closer look? What you've reverted still looks pretty shady. I think we have to rv much further back to find a decent, NPOV version of the article. Your thoughts? ponyo (talk) 04:25, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- But your revert still leaves the descripotion of 'sexy star". If you go way-way-way back there is much more content and less intermitent vandalism. Any worries with me finding the last clean copy and starting from scratch there? ponyo (talk) 04:33, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ok, done. Not pretty (and notability is questionable), but the flagrant BLP violations and longstanding vandalism seem to have been removed. Cheers ponyo (talk) 04:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- My initial intent was to go for a speedy on it, or at least on AfD. I was just trying to make it as unoffensive as possible as it had been around for so long and seemed to be dodging the deletion process. Fire away... ponyo (talk) 04:59, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Get a sense of humor, get a better perspective on life
Firstly, I would like to thank you for being so incredibly polite in your request that I stop making "unconstructive edits". Secondly -- you should have read that Imagination article, if you haven't already. That thing was so disgustingly dull, it murdered the brain. It may be a little over your head, but that one sentence I wrote tells you more about Imagination than that whole stupid article did before I changed it. Thirdly -- this I speak out of legitimate concern. It is for your own good. If you concern yourself with rules and conformity and society and everything, you shall grow old and fade into nothing, and have lived a life of monotony. The great irony is that most of the rules you follow were invented by people who broke the rules. Martin Luther King Jr. broke rules, the Founding Fathers broke tons of rules, and the list goes on. The fact is, the societies of man are as imperfect as the strengths and weaknesses of the individual. But even the individual has the right to act on their own sense of right and wrong, and not be based off of rules already set in place. I shall refer you to the so-called Transcendentalist philosophers of the 19th century -- they were mostly right, they just weren't all that convincing, and haven't been at all popular since the stinkin' Modernist movement in literature. -- Your Concerned Friend, Skunksforever —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skunksforever (talk • contribs) 16:53, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Crammage
The author of the Crammage page seems to be laboring under the impression that you are secretly associated with Anki, and has responded in retaliation by applying the same tag you applied to the Anki page. I noticed you also applied the tag to the Mnemosyne page, so I've added some more reviews to back up the article's notability. I posted on their talk page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:76.14.82.5
But the edit war still continues. Another person asserts "new higher standards" on the Anki history page, but I suspect this is simply a case of "if my product can't be on wikipedia, nobody's can!". I'd appreciate it if you could look into it and let us know which of us is in the wrong, or how this can be resolved.

A logical argument
How come my page was registered for deletion? My page contained as much "factual" information as your "user" page does. It had the same number of references (none). Why is it that what you've written is considered is fact (when it would be quite easy to make anything up) and however my best mate, who sits opposite me at work and happens to dress up as a Panda and fights crime after being bitten by a radioactive womabt, is deleted on the basis that its all made up!?! You have as much proof as I do (actually I have more, I am aware that the person I refer to IS a crimefighting Panda - I've been on patrol with him a few times) and yet you've played judge jury and executioner with the word of the mighty ninja panda. And he's very upset.
So please explain how your page was any more acceptable than mine!?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by NinjaGilbert (talk • contribs) 13:23, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi. Back in February, a new user created Andrea Concepcion. (with a period at the end of the title), and you moved it to Andrea Concepcion without the period. What you didn't realise was that "Andrea Concepcion" had already been deleted twelve times and salted; as an admin, your move was able to over-ride the salting. The article was taken to AfD again; looking at the AfD I was puzzled how a new user had managed to re-create a salted article, and had to study the history to work out what had happened. I am letting you know only because I thought you might be amused; it has been zapped. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:57, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Baseball Scorekeeping
I recently added a large amount of text to the Baseball scorekeeping article, which you promptly deleted. While I readily admit that there is a conflict of interest in what I wrote, I think the page is more misleading with information about only one scorekeeping system. The article has been in need of major work for several years now and I've decided to fix it up in the hope that it will encourage more people to contribute (I've spoken to a few people who wanted to work on it but "didn't know where to start"). I don't want to be the sole author of the sections on Project Scoresheet and Reisner Scorekeeping but I do think they need to be there and, frankly, I'm not optimistic about anyone else writing them given the article's history.
In other words, I was aware of the problems when I added the new sections, but I was hoping for collaboration rather than deletion. The article needs to be encyclopedic, not a how-to. Any thoughts on how it can get there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Areisner (talk • contribs) 22:41, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for cleaning up the vandalism that KingHamid person made. I found an IP address which may or may not be the same person, which could be of use if he comes back: 58.96.64.179. Aqua Jones Page Deletion
Please see the following discussion with R3ap3R.inc regarding this page:
I don't feel that the speedy deletion of Aqua Jones was warranted. This page is about a band that was popular in the Louisville,_Kentucky music scene in the late 90's and early 00's. The speedy deletion was said to be because there was no indication that the subject was significant or important. Aqua Jones has performed with the likes of Flaw, Tantric, and 8stops7. If these subjects are allowed pages, I don't see why Aqua Jones wouldn't be.
They've recently reunited and they have a reunion show scheduled for 5/27/09, so I feel as though the page is both significant and important.
Let me know what I can do to get this page out of speedy deletion status. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Herrmdawg (talk • contribs) 22:03, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I think there may be some WP:COI as well here considering this is your only contribution to wiki. Also, I didn't delete it... I just nominated it for deletion. Find me QUALITY reference from a reputable third pary, and I will consider your motion for a reconsideration. R3ap3R.inc (talk) 22:07, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
- Here is Aqua Jones' page on garageband.com. As you can see, their song "Hollywood Faces" was ranked #1 of 1,065 in Rap Rock on 11/09/2002.
- Here is a link to Phoenix Hill Tavern's upcoming calendar. If you will please notice the entry for 5/27, that shows that Aqua Jones is scheduled to perform.
- Here is a link to Aqua Jones' artistdirect.com page.
- I am not a member of this band, nor do I have any financial interest in promoting them, so there should be no question of my number of contributions or motives. This is just an informative article on a band in the city in which I live. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Herrmdawg (talk • contribs) 22:22, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

As I have now been properly informed, this edit will be followed by proper signature etiquette. Apologies.
Aleccawthorne123 (talk) 21:17, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I didn't disagree with the other editor's citation changes, only with the attempts to remove material wholesale and piecemeal based on minor weaknesses. I understand editors are sometimes sensitive about controversial material, often out of a connection with or empathy for the subjects involved. In the case of KOOP, obviously the sympathies run high. Meanwhile, I've re-sourced and re-written the section, but I need to double check the match between facts and sources to make sure everything is airtight. One point that wasn't raised that I believe is legitimate is that there is slightly too much detail on the suspect, so I've reduced that to arrest and motive (the rest isn't necessarily encyclopedic). I may not be able to post the new writeup until tomorrow. If you have any feedback in the meantime, I'd appreciate it if you'd post it on my talk page. Thanks.

Arthur Kemp article at WP:AN3
Hello C.Fred. Here's the rest of my comment on the AN3 case. The IP keeps deleting a specific passage, sourced only to splcenter.com. I am not convinced that WP:BLP allows inclusion of this kind of negative material with no more support than the one article at splcenter.com. The IP did not delete the paragraph just above this one, which is sourced to Hansard and to several newspapers. The words he deleted included Kemp cooperated with prosecutors by giving damning testimony against Clive Derby-Lewis and his wife, Gaye. Kemp testified that the couple admitted to him their involvement in the murder during a lunch the three had together two days after the murder. I don't object to your semiprotection of the article, but suggest that you remove the disputed passage until it can be supported from mainstream sources.
The discussion at WP:RSN which affirms that SPL Center publications can be used, can I think be stretched too far. Specific criminal acts, or almost-criminal acts, ought surely to come from the mainstream. Wouldn't such things be documented in the South African press? If no source can easily be found, we could leave it out of the article until someone has time to do the research. Obviously the IPs should not be allowed to delete properly-sourced information. Aaliyah page needs correction
I noticed in the "musical style" section it said "Stephen Thomas Erlewine of Allmusic described her eponymous album, Aaliyah, as not only "a statement of maturity and a stunning artistic leap forward", but also one of the strongest urban soul records of the 1990s". Aaliyah's eponymous album Aaliyah was released in the 2000's not 1990's so please change that! Thankyou! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.59.108.191 (talk) 06:02, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Boze
Hello and sorry for the poor communication. There has been some vandalism on this site. The story on Boze is a media fiasco, but, at least among the higher education community, is inaccurate. What the media said and what really happened are very different stories. Since this is a living person, it seems most prudent to err on the side of protecting her reputation versus feeding an incorrect media frenzy. Especially since including it in the article does little or nothing to enhance it's value. I'm happy to talk offline about what I know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sassy Sylvia (talk • contribs) 02:03, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

What happens now? I can't/won't/don't dare remove the neurtrality statement, for fear of recrimination, and this isn't my battle to fight. This seems to be a bigger issue than I want to take on. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sassy Sylvia (talk • contribs) 02:30, 17 April 2009 (UTC)
Betsy Boze
Hi C. Fred. This is Betsy Boze. I appreciate the need for accuracy and full disclosure as well as balanced coverage. I also know that I should not edit my own page because of COI, so I'm writing to you, since you appear to have an interest in it. I don't know if you are local or editing from afar, or even in the higher education community. I have told the real story locally, but also at the American Council on Education and other venues. I have turned down opportunities to tell it in the press, not wanting even more publicity (positive, negative, correction, or whatever).
The story is not the story at all. A lot of damage has been done, and I think if you knew the truth, you would not want to perpetuate it. I would be happy to tell you what happened, if it makes any difference, but I do not want to put it in writing. If you email me at bvboze@kent.edu, I will give you a phone number. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BVBoze (talk • contribs) 11:48, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Professional Bodyguard Association
Hello
Thanks for you observation. I am a director of Professional Bodyguard Association and therefore speak with authority. It seems I must, given all the misleading comments that have been brought to my attention. If anyone want to obtain facts relating to PBA, then we have the facts are are happy to corroborate them.
Recently there have also been attempts to disparage our organisation with sly comments. Professional Bodyguard Association make no claims other that what is clearly depicted in our web pages "professionalbodyguardassociation.co.uk" and "the-pba.org". Change is evolutionary and is attended to in our webpages where we take ownership and responsiblilty for accuracy seriously.
Unfortunately we have come to learn Wikipedia is considered a source of reliable information and are dishearted to learn that Professional Bodyguard Association is being berated unfairly and without fact. You are welcome to look to Companies House UK and verify the legitimacy of my authority to speak on this matter. for the record my name is Craig Knowles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Professional Bodyguard Association (talk • contribs) 19:05, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Fasach Nua
I'm not an experienced editor by any means; this place usually leaves me so frustrated that I just stay away from it. However, I see that you've previously commented on User:Fasach_Nua's talk page about his recent edit wars; and despite warnings, Nau's now in his fourth war over the course of a couple of weeks. Currently, User:Fasach_Nua is deleting every image on the Sliders page without compromise, consideration or suggestion. Is there really no Sliders related image in existence that can be used? I'm not experienced with Wiki, but I don't buy that; and looking at other high profile articles (like The Simpsons, Stargate, Star Trek, etc.), I know that comparable images to those in the Sliders article are in use. There's no way those big boys are going under the radar.
Anyway, I've gotten hacked off about this and acted poorly already, so I'm hoping you can step in given Nau's blatant history (and the fact that he was laughing off edit war warnings on his talk page). Nau's little warning to me for edit vandalism is what led me to finding your comment; hell, I didn't even think there was warning system here from the things I've seen happen continuously; that's why I hadn't bothered with warning him.
So, take what action you need to against me; I'm not trying to say I'm innocent, but I think my history will show I'm no trouble maker here. However, it's guys like Nua that make me not want to contribute to this place. I would love to do it, and I've compromised with people before on here; but it's sickening to watch hours of work cast aside like nothing when you know there has to be something in the effort that had value. Fred, Will you help us me edit both Qaasim Middleton's page and Toni Seawright's page? That would really help me out a lot if we could enroll you for that. Here's the thing, I am a publicist and this site doesn't come very easy to edit, for starters. I work late at night and all hours during the day. I can provide you with the information that is needed and only ask that you help me edit the information so that it can be added correctly. It would prevent any of my pages from being deleted if we had you to look over the corrections first. Also, I can provide you with my information to call and give you other verifiable info to put on either page. I thank you for your diligence..and also, would prefer that we do keep Qaasim's birthdate off of the site. I really believe that that is the move to make on that. Also, I don't know if it's a smart thing to say as well, but, Ms. Seawright would like for you to know that Qaasim will be attending LaGuardia High School in the fall and was admitted in the school for Drama, Dance & Vocals. That was unheard of for an entering freshman be accepted for 3 different majors. He chose to study Vocals. Wish him luck as he enters a new phase in his life. I am only trying to find the best innovative tools in citing verifiable and important information about my clients that people trust, and they do trust Wikipedia. So, I ask that you give me a hand on correcting Ms. Seawright's page as well as keeping her son's page updated and on point. Uploading picture from Internet ext link
uploading picture from Internet ext link I am trying to upload a picture of book cover from a book advertisement to page Rajkumar College, Rajkot where I have had contributions and you saw and invited me if I needed help. The process of getting to this page was not intuitive(new section tab- I had found this soon after your posting but took time to respond not knowing what all this was about) and this needs attention regarding procedures in general. For a new Wikipedian, I have mostly discovered by logical inferences, some of these procedures, that in itself attests to intuitiveness of procedure but I am having difficulty with uploading picture from a website.
http://goldenbooksgroup.co.uk/The image is selected by pop up on the advertised book cover so that extraneous unwanted material is hidden and finally represented by the following link which possibly by inference, I think pop up is cause of failure to tag to wiki common; other could be some other Wiki nuance that is not intuitive enough for me. Consider this as a motivation for all Wikipedians to strive to make things intuitive; tutorial visits may be required periodically and acquire and refine technique/technic as an on going project.
http://goldenbooksgroup.co.uk/image.php?object_type=detailed&image_id=1913&window=popup
The name I used for wiki common file was Image:RKC1870-1910. tried two different extensions then sensing that a - in a file name may not acceptable, I tried Image:RKC40. with one of acceptable extensions. Am I missing something or Wiki want accept a pop up out of a web page? helpme.. I could not find helpme with bracket and I have learnt that copying that and pasting or using character { }from keyboard will not do as the help me construct is a tag for Wiki to keep of list of things that require help and likes of you to come to rescue( I know I will find the helpme bracket outside your page(I know I should not go outside now or I will loose all the work) and naturally wouldn't be avalaible while I am already with you helping me).Patelurology2 (talk) 13:49, 9 May 2009 (UTC) my loginid is patelurology2 and though I logged in before still the auto spam screening script words to manual entry system showed up prompting me to recognize that that I may have not logged in- that's the reason for inserting my login id in script. I USED PAGE( browser back and forth arrow) BUFFER TO LOG IN AND HAVE TYPE ALL THIS AFTER THE 4~ SIGN. I have notice that paragraph above this box telling about not having logged in just as I was typing the last two sentences. ? flashing non log in message? may be needed.( The page Rajkumar College Rajkot had my id on the left at top i.e. patelurology2 possibly because ? I have elected the WATCH the page function and that may have been causing misunderstanding as I saw on the same page logout button ? why?) Anyway, I must send this to message to you help me.Patelurology2 (talk) 13:49, 9 May 2009 (UTC)- THE MESSAGE WAS NOT ACCEPTED BY WIKI AND INSTEAD OF RE TYPING ALL THIS i HAVE CHOSEN copy and paste so you will know what I have gone through. PS; SINCE THIS IS COPY PASTE IGNORE patelurology2(talk)- I would be surprised if it is active on my cutting and pasting this while I have some of the last sentences in Yahoo compose.
The following is in ext link tagged to the page: Rajkumar College Rajkot i.e RKC 1870-1910 - this is the image needs to be displayed next to the text that refers to the book. PS- I had some changes after cut and paste but I lost the whole page as I was distracted by ? is this minor edit- definition I know about but why this Q for this new section screen- could be that same is used for edit of prior submission as in above 10 entries.Patelurology2 (talk) 15:42, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi, User:C.Fred,
I have knowledge on Toni Seawright as I edit the vast majority of The Naked Brothers Band articles.
I cleaned out and fixed-up the article and I cut and pasted the references in my sandbox, as I am adding it to the article with {{citenews}} and {{citeweb}} tags.
I think it is somewhat decent now to get rid of the WP:AFD and the WP:Peacock tags, since I am not an administrator, and you cited to not edit beyond the tag points, I didn't erase any of the tags.
I am not done yet, as I am continuing to add more references.
Thanx and please respond back on my talk page.

Hello, I got your quick revision. I don't think I know you, and I doubt that you know me, or Dr. Boze for that matter. She is trying to get her life back on track without this. There are several of us, all Wiki novices that really don't think that this content (or the neutrality tag) belongs here. People will google and they will find what they will find, but please show some compassion. When you look at other university presidents and chancellors, even most politicians, they don't include such data. Let her move on, let this story die. Please be an alley and try to be helpful versus hurtful. Her resignation wasn't about a sign, it was about a difference in the vision that the campus, the community, the students, the board and others had, that differed from the vision that Kent had. This did happen, but it wasn't the reason for her resignation, and had Kent released her real letter, it would have told the story. The cryptic press release sent the bloodhounds looking for a story and they found this and assumed it was the reason. Her board supports her, the community supports her. Can you please, if not support her, at least leave her alone?
Thank you,
A friend in deed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.142.30.40 (talk • contribs) 18:58, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

NewBlue page
Friendly greetings Fred! I indicated within the article why this company is notable, specifically this paragraph: "NewBlue, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Todor Fay and Melissa Jordan Grey. With over 40 years of experience, they previously collaborated on over 35 hardware and software products on multiple computer platforms, such as the Bars and Pipes MIDI sequencer, the AudioActive interactive audio engine, and Microsoft's DirectMusic."

Supporting Emotional Needs of Gifted Children
Hello. I am a new contributor, and I just submitted the article SENG Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted - which was deleted since it appears to be a company. SENG is an academic organization of parents, educators, counselors, and others which addresses the social and emotional challenges of gifted-identified school children (as well as adults). It founded crucial support groups for parents (SENG model parent groups), and continues to publish and conduct research through its many academically-based members. This support group does not have dues or membership fees. It is supported through various forms of contributions, in many cases from both individuals and agencies it has served regarding this very important aspect of many of those children that are identified as gifted. There is relatively limited treatment of this in Wikipedia, and it was hoped that this article could be the basis of a much wider contribution concerning social and emotional needs of the gifted.
Please advise how the article could be altered, given that it is not only referencing the origin of the organization (and also not about a commercial (company or corporation) entity - in order to meet criteria acceptable for inclusion. Thanks so much for your help,--L.S.Avecilla (talk) 20:02, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
Thank you - RE "Emotional Needs of Gifted Children"
OK, that's very clear, and I understand all of the observations... here are just a couple of preliminary notes, and then I'd like to ask how you might advise to appropriately proceed. (1) "independent sources" - Dr. James Webb is one of the more noted psychologists (worldwide) in this field - much of the website, and much of this article, has been generated by him - it makes sense that the content is very similar . . also, his volume of published material, in many peer-reviewed journals, as well as other education-sector resources, is prolific. In fact, much of the very fundamental work regarding social & emotional challenges of both gifted children and adults, is attributable to him.
But, there are certainly other workers, many colleagues, students, and researchers, that could be cited - at least in addition to his work. As well, it could be possible to incorporate many others' work in the body of the article, although I think we'd hoped that that would actually occur as a function of the article appearing in Wikipedia - we had hoped to gradually advise many workers in the field (including internationally), to view and contribute to the article.
(2) "use of first person" - yes, I noticed that too, when the DRAFT was supplied. It would have been appropriate to re-write that part.
(3) press and other coverage: both this organization's contributions, as well as various presentations, task groups, and other professional "conference coverage" exists in quantity. Referencing some of that coverage, current education sector (K-12 and higher education)activities related to this topic, etc. would not be difficult to accumulate, document and work into the article.
The area of "social and emotional" needs is a crucial, and gating, factor in the eventual success of gifted-identified kids, both academically, and in general "life functioning." Dr. Webb and many others have dedicated their professional (and life) work to supporting parents in their management of these characteristics - which can be as serious as life-threatening.
We hope that by having a Wikipedia article, we can both expose parents (and many other categories of potential contributors to the field)to the important need to be sensitive (and knowledgeable) to these characteristics and behaviors, and therefore support advances in management, and preparing these kids for entering the global workforce and social environment.
I am sorry to respond at this length, but being new to Wikipedia, I'm still very much learning appropriate process. In that regard, I would really appreciate your recommendation regarding exactly how to proceed, in order to produce an acceptable Wikipedia contribution.
I have noted the observations you have made so far, and I think these can be addressed (for purposes of re-submission?. It would be helpful though to have an opinion regarding exactly what process might be most suitable?
Any additional advice is greatly appreciated, and I will communicate both with Dr. Webb and other colleagues regarding how a submission may be more suitably created. Thanks again... --L.S.Avecilla (talk) 14:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

RE "Emotional Needs" - checking back...
Good Morning, and just wanted to check back to learn if there was any additional guidance you would provide beyond that which you have already - both concerning the DRAFT article content you've seen, as well as what WP process or channel might be most appropriate for us to pursue for submitting a more acceptable and conforming version? We are collecting material consistent with your suggestions; we hope to begin a corrective edit tomorrow. Thanks for any additional thoughts...--L.S.Avecilla (talk) 12:40, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

Can I ask for some personal assistance...
Hello, I wrote an article on a soon to be released software product called Record and I'm being repeatedly assassinated for "WP:Notability" an the fact that apparently I'm spamming. Its quite annoying as I fail to see how I fail the 5 rules after modifying the page to comply meticulously, so I hoped you in you, as the only one who has made a constructive comment toward me since I arrived here, would, in your infinite experience help point out exactly what rule I am failing and point out how my stub is spam.

Issue with Indiamart
Hi, this is in reference to my article submission about Indiamart.com - a b2b marketplace. I am using Wiki for the first time and just registered to put a brief about my company Indiamart.com. But it seems I have violated some rules here.
Pls don't take my intentions wrong, I saw profile of lot of companies so thoght would be prudent to give information about my company as well since we are a public patform (India's largest b2b marketplace)and millions of people visiting our marketplace (indiamart.com)may be interested in knowing more about Indiamart through different channels like wiki. In fact, one of another company in the ame field called Alibaba.com has got a detailed profle on wiki. Tried to just our profile but the page has been deleted.
Pls suggest how I can put a profile about Indiamart without violating any rules and regulations of wiki, with all due respect to your esteemed platform.
Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Indiamart (talk • contribs) 16:49, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Apparently you deleted a page I just put up for Stephen Nathan. I put an IMDB link on it which I had no idea was not allowed. I have seen many, many Wiki pages with links to IMDB, all of which are still up. However, I immediately deleted the link anyway. When I checked back the page had already been deleted. Is there any way to reinstate the page? Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nathan726 (talk • contribs) 03:43, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Our proposed user name
User name HighSchoolSportsNet I registered using this name because I wanted to be transparent to wiki admin. The first article I intend to write indeed will be about HighSchoolSports.net, whose parent company is Gannett Media and whose sister company is USA Today, both of which also show articles on wiki. I certainly do not want to violate your user name policy, but want you to understand why I chose this one. Please let me know your thoughts and guidance on what I might use alternately. C. Fred you just put my article based on stephen hugueley back into my user page. For several reasons. 1st you saide he wasnt notable. wikiepdia the free encyclopedia...i didnt know you had to be notable to be in it. should we perhaps rename the site...wikipedia the encyclopedia of the famous, edited by the masses. Notable? the man is a convicted felon who killed his mother and 2 people while in prison. Yet he has never went through the appeal process. He will be dead soon and his one request was that his biography (the article ) be put on wikipedia...u are denying this mans last request.
2nd reliable sources, look at this page User:Deathrow researcher. reliable enough? he is a psychology profesor. I think that is reliable enough.
And about the article making clear how he is notable....again read the article, and you will find out. This was more than a interview this is also several letters from stephen. thank you for your time

He is the TJDJ for Taco John's, a well known restaurant chain, who's commercials are seen on tv by millions of people every day. How could he not be allowed on here?? Hello Fred, I created a page today for the company I work for, Life Partners Christian Ministries, Inc. You just recently deleted it lol. Well I would like to create a notable one for this company because they are growing rapidly. People have asked us as a company to place our company on Wikipedia so it could be a sorce of information about the company. I am brand new to Wikipedia which is why the page you deleted wasn't of standard. Our company has lots of reference pages/notable sources we can use but I'm just unaware of how to use everything. This page would be created by the Founder, President and CEO, not by an individual. Please get back to me on this so hopefully we can put it back up the correct way. Question from a newbie.
Thank you for the welcome.
You just deleted my attempt to start an article on Polytron, a game developing company, because the article was missing why they were important. I'm not going to argue that decision but for future referance. Isn't a game developer for a notable game, notable? - Zhyard (talk) 00:20, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

milk76
Thank you for taking an interest in the page Jeremy Browne. As advised i have registered a name, now milk76. I am a little at a loss to know what to do. In June my page was hijacked by some members of my local opposition party. It is now being locally advertised to, go to this site to 'get the latest' about Jeremy.
I am keen that full accurate information about me should be available online. Especially on this great site. However the user now called oldtauntonian simply keeps putting up half quotes from articles and only selected statistics to suit his cause. I have tried to put up a longer copy using all of his choices for references, simply with the complete quotes. Sadly it keeps being undone. Several times by you. Although i fully accept that we had not spoken then.
I have now written my page again in much shorter version. I have kept all of the links to articles and information so there can be no complaint that i am trying to cover up things about me.
There is no reasoning with these people who want to use this site as free propaganda. It is in their interests.
If you think that my copy is unacceptable then a couple of moments of your time would be appreciated.
Many thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Milk76 (talk • contribs) 12:20, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for the follow up
Thank you for taking the time to look into this. The only reason i spoke in the first person about the page is that I am Jeremy. Please feel free to delete any of the personal life entry, it can be sourced (eg http://www.hearfromyourmp.com/view/message/576 or the lib dem's biog page) but it is only sourcing my word for it. I would be happy to put these links in.
If you would like to check that i am who i claim to be then you can contact me at the commons [redacted] but could you take this address off this thread once you have it.
I really am keen for all pages to be complete and totally honest (even the less than complimentary things). It is a great site and you admins are doing a good job.

gluon vs gluoninc
Dear C.Fred, while I totally understand the concern that I might be spamming the topics of interest let me explain why I'm adding my knowledge to the topics and not spamming. Also, preemptively, I had tried to set up a name "gluon" but that was taken and rightly should be preserved for the subatomic particle for which our company was named. Gluoninc is a very small company comprised of talented and expert individuals who deserve, and have, the respect of the publishing community based on lifetimes of achievement in the field by individuals, not some conglomerate. So just because I use the name gluoninc does not disqualify my expertise in dynamic publishing or as an inventor with patents in the field and someone who speaks on the topic on panels as well. I am the president of the company so I've not asked a summer intern to go out and spam Wikapedai. I was howver recently told by a prospective customer..."hey I went to Wikapedia and saw no mention of you guys so I didn't know you existed, even though I now know you are the very best." Which brings me to my final point you've heard before...we simply deserve to be mentioned in the same light as others, regardless of the name of the poster, so long as it's factual, valuable information and not sales language. If you'd still like me to go through the exercise of making a new name to say the same thing I will gladly do it. I appreciate your concerns as a keeper of the encyclopedic integrity, nonetheless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gluoninc (talk • contribs) 12:53, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

Hi, I have now edited the references. For the "This article is an orphan, as few or no other articles link to it. " warning, actually it is due to the title: someone changed it, it should NOT have been done, because "Hands-On Universe" is indeed what we want and if you search wikipedia for Hands-On Universe you indeed find several references, but not for "Global ..." check: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:WhatLinksHere&target=Global_Hands-On_Universe&namespace=0 and: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3AWhatLinksHere&target=Hands-On+Universe&namespace=0 --Oliviermarco (talk) 20:58, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually, using the very sources this user has shown above, it is clearly not the same guy. Simple math tells us that according to that news article, Christopher Wrigley is 28-years-old on 4th June 1998, Wrigley's birth year must then be 1969, and not 1971 as in Warwick's age. - Good point, although it could be possible that when they call him 28, they are referring to his age during the time of 'Operation Sunburst' (1995), which would be perfect. Wikisposure claim his alias is 'Apollo11', which is the same as the film organisation he has opened in this article, and it's OR for sure but 'Appy' makes sense as a related alias to 'Apollo11'. Also, if you look at this old version of the wikisposure page, before they (claimed to) know his name, they still give Apollo11 as one of his aliases. I know none of this is evidence enough to get an accusation of paedophilia on his wikipedia page obv. Earfetish1 (talk) 09:22, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Georgia Institute of Technology GA Sweeps: On Hold
I have reviewed Georgia Institute of Technology for GA Sweeps to determine if it still qualifies as a Good Article. In reviewing the article I have found several issues, which I have detailed here. Since you are a main contributor of the article (determined based on this tool), I figured you would be interested in contributing to further improve the article. Please comment there to help the article maintain its GA status. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. --Happy editing! KZEY AfD
User:Aliveatoms has created an AfD on station KZEY, in a pointed attempt to irritate a situation with User:RadioFan. Apparently RadioFan nom'd a page made by Aliveatoms for deletion. Aliveatoms actions are the subject of an ANI post. Would it be possible (if not, that's cool) to speedy keep the AfD on KZEY? I have warned Aliveatoms about making pointed AfDs already, just don't feel confortable closing the AfD at this point. - NeutralHomer • Talk • 04:44, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

"restore references"
Hi, I submitted a website on Christian Thought & Neuroethics, as an eternal link (www.Botox4TheBrain.com) You told me that If I feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it.I did not find the page to dicuss it.
I do think this link should be added. I have compared the site with other external links in the article of Neuroethics. Neuroethics & Law Blog and BrainEthics blog are two blogs that definitely approach bioethics from one angle. I feel the conversation could be enriched by Christian Theology. The goal of Botox4theBrain is to be part of the neuroethical discussion. As Zach Hall (a leading figure in neuroethics) as stated, it is important that religious leader also engage in this conversation. This is neither to promote a personal blog, nor to advertise anything, but to be part of the discussion.
Sincerely
I hope I posted in the right place. It is the first time I am using this :o). Botox4theBrain (talk) 03:59, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Dear Fred. Thanks for your input and comments on the tag problem. However the previous individual who placed the the tags on the articles (articles by iwanafish) seems to have had a massive grudge against him. I wish you would look into the iwanafish problem. That original contributor authored mainly artilces on China and Japan. All of them seem thoughtful and well intended. The administrator, or whoever, who placed the tags no longer contributes to wikipedia. It would seem appropriate to remove most of the tags.--Daikusama (talk) 23:06, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Users blanking own talk pages
Hi, I noticed your contribution on User:ActingEditor's talk page about the blanking. While I understand that users can blank their own talk pages, I recall a conversation a while ago about the blanking of warnings being bad form and frowned upon. In this case, the user seems to be trying to get rid of a conflict of interest warning. I won't revert the page anymore but would like some explanation on how to act in these situations. - XXX antiuser 23:31, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I remenber an interview of him a few years ago saying that despite the fact he love to be in the province of Québec he was more than happy to get back home in Louisiana, Maybe it's not enough for you but all i could say was that Mr.Richard live mostly in Louisiana and did come in Canada for short periods during the year, so the contradiction you've notice maybe not so contradictory.

i need help on this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_iCarly_episodes about dissictions going on. here's the whole story.
On http://starrymag.com/content.asp?ID=3909&CATEGORY=INTERVIEWS Nathen said there are going to be 45 episodes for season two, But on http://fanlala.com/star/NathanKress/video/927 interview, he said that there are finishing season 3 with the production codes in the 230"s already. on http://fanlala.com/star/NathanKress/video/991 he said they are doing a photo shoot for season 3 that might air at the end of the summer. (now we know it’s not ture now) At the teen choice awards Miranda Cosgrove stated in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9iD1GoenEM&feature=channel_page, she specifically states that they are still working on season TWO. Dan also said the show will be going on break for awhile latter this mounth. nick siad http://seriesandtv.com/cancelled-shows-2009-icarly-gets-renewed-for-a-new-season-by-nickelodeon/ iCarly was orded for season 3. Aslo the production codes are still in the 200's. there have been debates about this for the past mounth and would mean icarly will end season two in 2010. do you anything about production codes? what is your oppin about the depates on 40 episodedes for season 2 and Elie Mullier. thanks please respondExtremeguy (talk) 01:13, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

About blanked userpages; Blanking ones userpage is a common spam tactic either used to keep a page just long enough to show up on google or for it to survive initial scrutiny so that more spam can be added later to it. Either way, a lot of new people don't know how to get a page deleted so they just blank it. Triplestop x3 01:31, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Promotion?
I understand what you are saying about using it on the University page, but wasn't the few sentences on the Student Newspaper page relevant? I don't see how that was promoting anything. With that logic you could see anything and everything on Wikipedia as promotion, and that is just not the case. Not really sure under what characteristics Alpha Phi Omega is included or excluded from the list, "Friendly" seems a bit broad. While I don't think APO belongs there, our Risk Management Policy indicates that we do not descriminate according to Sexual Orientation. (And the Risk Management Policy is in the Pledge Manual) I know that APO has had one openly gay board member. I can provide more information, but I'm not quite sure how it should be phrased on the talk page for the List. I'm not a neutral party, I'm an Alpha Phi Omega alumnus, and on the National History and Archives Committee.Naraht (talk) 01:48, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- I agree that a move of the page might be appropriate, but I'm not quite sure to what. I know for APO there was a move to put non-discriminiation into the bylaws, but about that point there were "laundry list" issues, so it moved into the Risk Management Policy which the National Board can alter.
- Probably implicit, but I think it will still be a *long* time before the fraternity system will ignore sexual orientation to the degree that the chess club does.
- At this point, the only way that I could see one of the NIC fraternities having an explicit banning of gays is if they still only allow from a single religion (or even sect) and I don't know if there are any of those in the NIC. OTOH, those in United Council of Christian Fraternities & Sororities, probably do ban gays. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Naraht (talk • contribs) 05:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Incorrect Singular Possessive
If the fact that the grammar is simply incorrect does not constitute reason enough then we might as well abandon any pretence to adhere to standards of language.
Consensus does not necessarily indicate correctness. It merely indicates perception. If a mistaken perception is allowed to propogate then this can only lead to an umdermining of standards - and the undermining of the high standard to which the English language has attained, following centuries of evolution, must be seen as an anathema to anyone who cares about the language.
There may come a time when it becomes acceptable in encyclopedic articles to render them in text speak. That day is not yet here (and I hope to God that I will not be around to see that tragic time), but the propogation of erroneous or carelessly perceived language usage does nothing to uphold the standard of English, but rather it merely paves the way for the inevitable deterioration of the language which non-adherence to standards will lead.
Any authority whatsoever which considers that the absence of a possessive s is ever acceptable other than where the terminating s in a noun is due solely to the noun being a plural, such authority is wrong, and whatever the authority purports its authority in thereby most certainly undermines its authority in the discipline of the English language - and probably therefore fatally compromises its authority in whatever else that authority claims authority in. --JohnArmagh (talk) 15:24, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Joey DeGraw
I note that the page created today has been deleted on the basis of deletion in 2006. Joey now has an album available to buy on iTunes & Amazon, is the co-founder/owner of the National Underground bar which has a page on Wikipedia, plus it's record label, all of which have happened since that time. In addition, in television interviews, Gavin DeGraw has also mentioned that Joey is part of the reason for his success, telling him that if he wants to make it, he ought to write his own songs and upon hearing the hook from 'I don't wanna be' told him that was his hit record, predicting what was to come. Add to that his song writing with artists such as Joss Stone & Chris Whitley, the latter saying of him, "What makes Joey such a deep writer and overwhelming talent, besides his god given gifts, is that ... it is all about music as an art form. He is a purist and the only young blood in music today that gives me hope." I feel automatic deletion based on an earlier article is a little excessive, given that a lot can change in three years. Banned user
Hi - this is the ghost of Esseinrebusinanetamenfatearenecessest (alias Lucretius). I've been haunting some articles - reviewing my editorial life as a rite of passage into the Great Beyond, but without editing them: my days as an editor are definitely over. However, I've noticed that a banned editor, Rbj, is still editing Planck units, using the false moustaches 74.104.160.199 and 38.104.186.254. I left a spooky comment on the Discussion page of that article but nobody has followed it up - usually the work of banned editors is deleted by the angels who guard Wiki from hell-hounds like him. Hello. As you may be aware, the page about Mark Formosa was deleted yesterday by an administrator by the name of Black Kite. He loftily declares that the page doesn't meet the WP:POLITICIAN criteria without explaining why, when I have repeatedly explained that it does. He also complains that it reads like a "campaign document". I have no idea what he is talking about - in my view it reads just like any other political figure's entry - but in any case, this would be an argument for rewriting it, not for deletion. Just a friendly note to inform you that I took the liberty to clarify one of your statements on the above talk page, as you left open the notion that releasing the source under GFDL would sort the copyright status of the page. In reality, this is no longer the case: since we moved to dual licensing on June 16th, GFDL-only content is no longer permissible on Wikipedia (see Wikipedia:Licensing update#Content restrictions). A couple of second opinions, please
The first is pretty mechanical: looking at the edit contributions of 87.69.55.139 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), I'm inclined to think this is a static IP that has belonged to one editor for some time. Note the current emphasis on Black-Eyed Peas songs([6], [7], [8]), similar edits from June, May, April, March, back until April 2008. His next block appears to be approaching rapidly, and I'll probably recommend that he be treated as a long-term problem.
The second topic is the looming problem at Vanessa Hudgens. Kikkokalabud (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and Juanacho (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) are clearly in a dispute, and both have brought the dispute to my talk page. Behaviourally, I tend to see Juanacho as more of a problem than Kikkokalabud, simply because he won't discuss matters. Editorially, I tend to side with his positions more than I do with Kikkokalabud's, and don't see him as a vandal. I've told Kikkokalabud that I would help him draft an RFC if he wants, but he has declined. On a worrisome note, after being told that I viewed the general theme of trimming details out of biographical articles positively, Kikkokalabud took off after Hilary Duff (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), prompting some comments (again on my talk page). I'm just not sure what, if anything, to do here. We're talking about two young kids in a fight, but both of them seem like they can be good editors. That makes me uninclined to recommend anything too strong in terms of a remedy, but I'm not sure that ignoring it is too good of an idea, either.—Kww(talk) 17:11, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

While the site host may be a blogsite it is the Official School Website and I'd rather you didn't dismiss it with a statement like "and from a blogsite no less") as you did in your second most recent edit. I know because I'm the person who maintains the site and it is far easier (and cheaper) to maintain a site in this way. Thebigfella2000 (talk) 19:10, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the deletion of this. But you got to admit that the title was a bit funny. Cheers, AeonicOmega(Watcha say?) 00:20, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- It was funny enough that I did a Google search to make sure it wasn't a slang term (no hits, though). —C.Fred (talk) 00:26, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
Penalty (American football)
I like the chart format. I think it's more readable. However, I think separate columns are needed for the NFL, NCAA (college), and HS (Federation) enforcements, especially for those cases, like pass interference, where the enforcement is radically different. I've rewritten the first few rows accordingly, but my lunch break is over.
I've also removed the column for whether it's an offense or defense foul, since many fouls can be committed by either. (Blocking below the waist by the defense is a point of emphasis this year in HS.) I've added a column for the signal.
Sorry I can't finish redoing the table right now, but good job with the start of the table, and I hope the changes I've made make sense. —C.Fred (talk) 16:51, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
- I am still in the middle of constructing the chart. It is a lengthy, time-consuming process that cannot be done all on one day. Some of the things I am considering are what order to place the penalties in (e.g. alphabetical, frequency), and possibly to have separate charts for offensive, defensive, or special teams penalties. And I was planning on doing just what you did - adding a column for the referee signal. Additionally, some of the information, for which the spaces are still blank, I have not found the information, and one of the advantages of the chart format is that it enables us to see what is missing. There is more I will figure out as I build the chart. I very much appreciate the help. Hellno2 (talk) 19:55, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
Help with a page
Hi, I'm kinda new here. I was wondering if you'd help me out a bit with Lisa Goldstein's article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisa_Goldstein_%28actress%29). At the top, it says "This article needs references that appear in reliable third-party publications. Primary sources or sources affiliated with the subject are generally not sufficient for a Wikipedia article. Please add more appropriate citations from reliable sources.". I don't know what to do to fix this... I'm such a newbie... Devilinme85 (talk) 13:41, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Deletion appropriate?
Hi, I was wondering whether I could ask you to reconsider your deletion of the Greg Wood (actor) page? The reason for this is that in the mind of the 10 million viewers of Coronation Street, he is certainly notable. The storyline he's due to act out highlights the aggressive tactics of unscrupulous loan sharks and is due to be a major storyline in the run-up to the Christmas period. His inclusion on imdb - (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1501319/) - underlines his notability and I would appreciate any help getting this article written to meet the notability guidelines. Thanks. Darren. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DarrenBrooker (talk • contribs) 10:54, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
Brazil
Getting creative, arent they? Billboard Brazil?—Kww(talk) 16:21, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- There actually is a valid albums chart now. WP:Record charts/sourcing guide/Brazil has details. Not surprisingly, only a handful of albums on it actually have articles, so it doesn't cause much problem. I make sure that those chart positions are retained.—Kww(talk) 16:28, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Extremely surprisingly, http://billboard.br.com/# is now on line. Doing some research to determine whether it's legitimate or a hoax.—Kww(talk) 16:58, 14 October 2009 (UTC)
- Just to keep you up to date. We've been having a discussion at WT:Record charts, and the conclusion seems to be that this is legitimate but currently unusable. Billboard has started a Brazilian edition, and http://billboard.br.com seems to be the appropriate website. The problem is that they publish the US charts on-line, but have not started to publish the Brazilian charts online. Editors adding positions from this source are actually adding US positions as Brazilian ones. For now, revert if you see it. I'll let you know when the situation changes.—Kww(talk) 16:40, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Yep. A pointer on WP:BADCHARTS to the good chart will get installed. It always gets tricky when there are good and bad charts for the same country, especially since both are going to be named the "Brazil Hot 100".—Kww(talk) 16:58, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the help on Huntington Learning Center
Thank you for your assistance on editing the HLC page rather than deleting. I am new to this and needed some assistance. I am reading through the rules and guidelines to try and improve my listings and references and your edits helped me to apply this. Deletion...
Please, don't remove my link to lisaeringoldstein.com on Lisa Goldstein's page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lisa_Goldstein_%28actress%29). It's not entirely an official website but all the official info about Lisa is on there. It came from her, it was her website in the first place. So please leave it. I asked for your help previously but you didn't reply so... If you wanna talk... —Devilinme85 (talk) 12:16, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

so whats the deal fred,i gave you two links and you never got back to me,both of which are magazines like you asked and XXL hardly ever gives an XL rating especially to a debut album. he is also touring with Ghostface Killah of Wu Tang Clan right now thru the west and midwest areas of the country.DPP559 (talk) 02:46, 19 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by DPP559 (talk • contribs)

I guess you have not heard of "The Cloud" and if you have, but not Petallel Cloud Computing? I don't care of your reason I was only going to share technology I created. I was going to add flow charts and diagrams and such so others could take advantage of this free open source technology. I did reference SUN because they too are writing papers about it and it is REAL. Anyway, happy deleting I kow that anyone can publish something here in your format REAL or NOT! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Benjamin Franklin Clay (talk • contribs) 02:22, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
Your recent post to User talk:Collectonian
I'm somewhat interested what led you to make your recent post on this user's talk page. It seems slightly odd to me that just after I mention that I'm looking for a third opinion one happens to appear (although admittedly it doesn't really answer the question about whether inserting copyright material is 'vandalism'). Dpmuk (talk) 23:15, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, fair enough. Thanks for the quick reply. I just wanted to make sure Collectonian hadn't canvassed somewhere off site (I am aware of IRC and the like and in at least one instance in the past an established editor has made a comment to me about contacting 'admin friends' in such a manner). I thought such an action extremely unlikely but just wanted to make sure. If I'm honest I probably also forgot that although it's gone midnight where I am it's the middle of the evening in the US and so it's much more likely that someone would just stumble across it.
- I have happily admitted it's not edit warring on Collectonian's user page, although the way she dealt with it give it the appearance that it might have been. In hindsight I might have probably a bit in my first post on their talk page and made the edit warring accusation a bit too strongly - I should have emphasised more that it appeared that way but probably wasn't. Darren Stevens IP vandal...
He's back... he had been gone so long that I had forgotten that that page was even on my watchlist... since you were the last admin to protect, I thought' I'd come to you first... same IP and everything, but this time he's just vandalizing the page, not trying to add himself to it again, yet... - Adolphus79 (talk) 05:14, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
Northern Cyprus- Human Rights edit
Hello C.Fred.I just made an edit to the Northern Cyprus page under the Human Rights subtitle. I realized the page is semi-protected and I do not have 10 wiki-contributions to qualify for an edit. However I feel my contribution was a significant one which might get deleted,if that is the case can you delete and add my contribution yourself please? I added one sentence referenced [49] Thanks Mecuy (talk) 02:39, 24 October 2009 (UTC)
Hi C.Fred - I'm slightly confused about the talk page of the Subsurface dyke page which appears to have a comment by you on the 5 pillars. Should that be there? Akerbeltz (talk) 10:42, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
I don't understand why you deleted my site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rspayne (talk • contribs) 12:49, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

- I wasn't the one to originally report him and I'm not totally sure of the rules of UAA (I just tend to comment on others' finds). Sorry if the lack of a warning to them messed anything up. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 03:15, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

- D'oh! Nine months of signing comments and I still get distracted by a shiny new template. What did you mean by "subst", though? I've seen it before (substitute?), but I've never gotten around to asking what it is and how to use it. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 03:26, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't get it. It doesn't seem to make any difference with or without the subst section. (is thick) --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 03:38, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
