Ways to improve Aloysius R. Callaghan
Thanks for your work on Aloysius R. Callaghan.
I just reviewed the page, and tagged it as having some issues to fix, including this note for you:
The article looks like a good start, but it needs more references. The final paragraph of the Biography section currently contains zero references.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can reply over here and ping me. Or, for broader editing help, you can talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Special:WantedTemplates
Hi, I have been helping with an effort to clear up false-positives in Special:WantedTemplates and found that 10 of the entries can be traced back to User:Darth Stabro/monobook.js. For example, if you check Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:" + "db-attack, you will see that the server is reporting that User:Darth Stabro/monobook.js is transcluding that template. Clearly this is a quirk in how the backend software parses javascript pages, but it makes it harder to find the real problem pages. It would be great if you could put
// <syntaxhighlight lang=javascript>
at the top of the script page and
// </syntaxhighlight>
at the bottom of the script page. Since these are commented out, it won't break the javascript, but it will prevent the backend software from parsing the {{" + "db-attack
as a template transclusion. Alternatively, if you are no longer using the monobook skin, I can delete the page for you (most editors are now using vector). Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 22:19, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

Doug Mahnke
Hi. Please do not add uncited material to articles, as you did with this edit to Doug Mahnke, as this violates Wikipedia's Verifiability policy. I know you don't edit here that often, but since you've accumulated over 2,100 edits since November 2009, you should be made aware by now that Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you'd like to discuss this further, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 20:37, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Harry Flynn. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Coon Rapids Dam For DYK
If you haven't planned to already, I'd like to put Coon Rapids Dam up for DYK (furthest navigable point on the Mississippi isn't something to sneeze at). I can perform the nom and requisite quid-pro-quo but you can claim the credit for what's shaped up as a solid article. Let me know if this sounds good and I'll get right to it when I have a spare 15 minutes tomorrow. ~ Pbritti (talk) 02:31, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds good! ~Darth StabroTalk/Contribs 02:55, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- One thing that may be important in phrasing - technically one can't navigate further north than the Upper Saint Anthony Falls Lock and Dam because the lock is permanently closed to prevent Asian carp from spreading further upstream. ~Darth StabroTalk/Contribs 14:53, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
DYK for Coon Rapids Dam
On 20 July 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Coon Rapids Dam, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Coon Rapids Dam on the Mississippi River is the northern terminus of the river's navigable portion? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Coon Rapids Dam. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Coon Rapids Dam), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
Thank you for your nice article on Coon Rapids Dam. If I may offer just one suggestion, it is to follow the MOS:SECTIONORDER guideline regarding the Coord template. It seems that certain mobile operating systems can't handle the Coord template being near the top of the article, which is why MOS:SECTIONORDER wants it placed either in the Infobox, or just above the Categories at the bottom of the page. New page reviewer granted
Hi Darth Stabro, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! signed, Rosguill talk 16:33, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Another new page reviewer is thing of rare beauty. Congratulations, and good for us! Ask for help; expect to make a few errors at first. We're rarely in a hurry at NPP but don't be afraid of blazing through a few reviews to establish a performance pattern. You're never alone and there's always somebody around willing to help. If you get in a spot, sing out. BusterD (talk) 20:06, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for joining NPP, @Darth Stabro! Please remember to observe WP:NPPHOUR when tagging pages for deletion, especially when it comes to ones like WP:A7, which might be resolved simply by giving the author more time. There's so much stuff in the queue, so there's no rush to hit the stuff at the very front. -- asilvering (talk) 04:50, 25 September 2024 (UTC)

The article Metnet (website) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Creator of the article from 14 years ago here - this website is now dead and has no significance, and even when it was live it didn't really have much significance and probably shouldn't have existed in the first place.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:01, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
Horror mystery film AfD
Hi there. I noticed you deleted the AfD template from an article you nominated, then draftified it. I believe the correct step is to withdraw your nomination (following WP:NACD), then draftify the article, rather than draftifying an article under active discussion. I did a procedural close of the discussion since the mainspace page had already been speedied, but leaving this comment for the future. Thanks! Dclemens1971 (talk) 21:46, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know! ~Darth StabroTalk/Contribs 21:47, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- You are an experienced editor but I guess you don't have much familiarity with how AFDs work. Once you have started the discussion, you can't just untag the article and call it to an end and draftify the article. That is not your decision to make, if an article is draftified, it should come from a consensus of AFD participants and was highly out-of-order. As Dclemens1971 says, if you change your mind about an AFD you started, post a statement under your nomination stating you withdraw your nomination and an uninvolved editor will close the discussion. - You need to give some sort of evidence as to why it is irrelevant. An arrest of a celebrity is relevant information. If he was found not guilty or charges were dropped, the article should have that listed rather than just deleting the information. ~Darth StabroTalk/Contribs 19:24, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- This person brought up a business he no longer owns, and then was shut down due to covid, just to needlessly bring up his arrest. It’s completely unnecessary information. Not everything about a persons life needs to be included Kt925 (talk) 19:28, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
