Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you recently removed content from Harry Maguire without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Hello, I'm TylerBurden. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Zlatan Ibrahimović, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! TylerBurden (talk) 21:01, 4 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Jack Butland, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 17:01, 6 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Pep Guardiola, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spanish. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Tony Mowbray. You've had a million warnings already so I'm guessing one more might not make any difference. But please try to understand that there's no excuse for adding controversial content to a biography of a living person, in this case that the person concerned had resigned from their job, without at the same time adding a reference to a reliable source that verifies it. Getting there first really isn't more important than doing the job properly. Thank you for listening. Struway2 (talk) 08:47, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Mattythewhite (talk) 18:18, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I literally removed Poch from Chelsea manager because he actually left in real life. I don't vandalise Wikipedia. I know I remove things without source but if I remove things it's because it happened or its in the news because I edit. Dillbob07 (talk) 19:32, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Dillbob07 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I made an edit on Chelsea which was removing Mauricio Pochettino as Manager because he left on mutual consent. When it got reverted other people removed him without a source and didn't get banned.

Decline reason:

In that case, you'll have no problem providing a reliable source (WP:RS) for this and committing to citing all future changes (WP:CITE). Yamla (talk) 19:58, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Short descriptions

edit

Hello! Please review the guideline page on short descriptions. In short, short descriptions have to be short. They do not have to say as much as a lead sentence. People usually see them in the search bar, where they must be scanned quickly and are primarily used to distinguish very different articles. Wizmut (talk) 17:46, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
