How can a AfC reviewer assigned a accepted draft (which is going to be an article)? Dipankar2005 (talk) 12:25, 20 December 2020 (UTC)
- I'm guessing that you are asking about this Draft:Sujit Bose (Indian politician).
- At first glance, it appears that Bose may meet the notability criteria that apply to politicians. There are a few things about the draft that a reviewer may wish to have you fix before it is accepted.
- As for when this will happen, it's very hard to tell. The reviewers are independent volunteers, nobody assigns drafts to reviewers; instead, they pick whichever drafts they want to review from what has become a large pile of drafts.
- There may be other misconceptions in your question that I'm not able to discern. You could find a lot more about the way the review process works by looking at the instructions reviewers are given. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 15:49, 20 December 2020 (UTC)

editDipankar2005, please read Wikipedia:Guide to deletion before making totally clueless comments, like this Walrus Ji (talk) 06:45, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
@Walrus Ji:, see what I had comment, I did by reading and understanding the guidelines. Please don't interfair on my comment. Every user has right to comment. You also had comment but did anyone argue against your comment. Even I humble you said and I thank you what you told. Dipankar2005 (talk) 06:58, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- Dipankar2005, I have seen what you have commented and that is why I commented here. May be you are not aware but you are making a fool of yourself, and unless you familiarize yourself with the linked guidelines, you will keep doing that. where did I interfere with your comment? Everyone can comment, but clueless comments does not help anyone. It is great that you are participating and sharing your opinion. All I am asking you is to please familiarize yourself with rules. Also see Wikipedia:Arguments to avoid in deletion discussions and Wikipedia:Deletion_process#Common_outcomes. You are suggesting keep, giving no justification and in the same comment you are also suggesting draftify without any basis. The article is not in a bad shape, the nominator thinks that the person is not notable. If you have really read the links I posted, can you please help me understand how will a person become notable if you drafity the article? I am genuinely curious. --Walrus Ji (talk) 07:55, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Ok man. Being an experience person, I accept your request. It's my fault to argue with you. I apologize for that @Walrus Ji:. Dipankar2005 (talk) 07:59, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- Dipankar2005, Thank you. I appreciate your efforts to help. I just wanted to make sure that your efforts are not wasted, due to ignorance of rules. It is good to see the article on Indranil Sen. I added a template here. Walrus Ji (talk) 08:05, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

@MRRaja001:, request accepted. It will take some days to upload reference. Dipankar2005 (talk) 08:00, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Department of Irrigation and Waterways (West Bengal) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.wbiwd.gov.in/index.php/applications/about. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. editPlease do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Draft:Department of Irrigation and Waterways (West Bengal). If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 09:54, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- OK! But don't remove the article now.Dipankar2005 (talk) 09:56, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- I'll wait a short while. You'll need to request WP:REVDEL of the versions which contain the copyright material. Copyright violations can't remain, not even in the article's history. Cabayi (talk) 09:59, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- I don't know how to do this. Please give me instructions @Cabayi:.Dipankar2005 (talk) 10:03, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

- General answer: you use the template {{Copyvio-revdel}},
- Specific answer: ping me when you've cleaned all the copyright materil from the draft and I'll clean out all of its preceding history at that point. Cabayi (talk) 10:16, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- Dipankar2005, Please stop creating new articles. You need to first learn your way to edit. Please read Help:Introduction. Wikipedia:Copyright violations is a serious problem and admins will block for it. Instead of wasting your time by creating articles which will get deleted due to problems, I think It will be better for you to spend time in learning first, so that you do not make such mistakes. After you feel confident about the major rules, you can start editing existing articles and in few weeks you can start your article. Start from Help:Introduction an then read Wikipedia:Copyright violations Walrus Ji (talk) 10:09, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

- Give me 10 hours for editing. Please give me some time. I will research more on this and submit the draft again.Dipankar2005 (talk) 10:12, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- Nobody's rushing you to get it to a standard for acceptance into mainspace. You can take up to 6 months for that. We NEED you to get rid of the copyright violation NOW. Cabayi (talk) 10:16, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- I've cleared it for you. You can safely build on what remains. Cabayi (talk) 10:55, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
- thank you Cabayi you saved me.Dipankar2005 (talk) 11:00, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
Cabayi, I removed all copy-violated materials. Please see to it now.Dipankar2005 (talk) 12:13, 22 December 2020 (UTC)
