Hey - it's so nice to see you back and it's been ages since we last chatted on here. I'm glad to see you getting more involved with Hindi-film related articles as you used to back in time. I don't know if you've noticed but my last project was Dimple Kapadia, on which I worked for something like a month a few months ago. I got too busy to expand it further and nominate it for GA as I initially planned, but I'm planning to get back to it ASAP. Would like to know if you have any suggestions on how to improve it a little more. I think the article is more or less comprehensive and is in quite a good shape overall even though it definitely can be improved further, which I've collected lots of sources for. Rekha is another highly-coveted task for me, and I did work on it for quite some time as well, but to write her biography would take much more energy and time as it's far more complicated, so I'm leaving it to another occasion. Street Music Player! Really?

On a day of 2007 people found a man near Washington DC Metro station playing violin. Another chap trying to earn some dollars by forcing some music into busy travellers' ears– people thought, as it is a common incidence of every city. Since it was rush hour, no one had time to listen to his music. After some time he got his first tip. But, the man who gave him the tip did not have the time to listen to his music. Some more people gave him some money, but almost no one had time to listen to his music. Only a 3 year old boy paid him (his music) most attention but his mother did not allow to listen to his music. The man finished playing. No one clapped. No one applauded. He put all the money and went.

The man was Joshua Bell– one of the greatest violin players. At that time Washington Post organized a social experiment in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context? Unfotunately no one paid attention to world's one of the greatest musician's music other than a 3 year old boy. Have you done an FA? We are almost three months from 2013, so maybe it's time to start on it. I don't really know where to start actually. Can you give me some advice, or would you like to work on it together? User:Ankitbhatt went fairly silent during the GA process, which I finished. Also, you may want to look at my last couple of edits to Mother India. I used the my normal style of citations, not the one that you converted too. Is that style needed for FA? Re: 59th NFA

Hi. You are correct. The copy editing was done sometime back but since then I'm in communication with Directorate of Film Festivals for the copyright issue raised at FLC earlier. The way it is progressing, I'm not much hopeful about the favourable response from them. We may have to re-write the citations. I would wait till end of this week for the concrete answers and then can go ahead with the editing and/or nomination. Sorry for the late response. I got a reply from DFF today saying "The copyright over citations in the catalogue published by us is ours as per the Indian Copyright Act. However, we have no objection for the use of the citations in the article on Wikipedia on 59th National Film Awards provided the citations are used without any modifications." Hi! I was unaware of that CCI. The case started in August 2011, and seems to have paused. The nominator explained that there is no doubt about the good faith of the editor. I have interacted with the editor for the past year (almost), and I have no doubt about his good faith, at the present time. Of course I am not much aware of his past editing pattern, and perhaps he had copy-vio problems at that time.

Now, coming to the Hyderabad article, I have significantly copy-edited some parts of the article, which are (as far as I remember) as follows. "Post-independence" in History, Neibourhoods and landmarks in Geography, Local government in Administration, Demographics (except the Slums subsection), Economy, and Education. I did not do any spot check during the copyedits, rather tried to concentrate on correction of errors and sentence structure change (well, those copyedits were limited by my knowledge of English, which is "advanced level" at best. So the prose may not read professional level). Although nobody can be completely confident, I am pretty much sure at least these sections should not have blatant copy-vios.

I have randomly edited in some other sections as well. However, I am not as much confident for those sections.

Overall, I would rather think that the article does not have blatant copy-vios, based on my experience with the article and the editor in question. If you ask for a ball park figure, I would be more than 75% confident! Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 19:34, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

I don't think we have any good or rather any translation of his work in any other language. I actually had thought of having him on "On this day.." section but was/is not sure how many non-bengali's know him. Also, I can see you had created Two (1965 film) in 2006. If I get to see it, I will try expanding it. Unfortunately, this is the only documentary I don't have of Satyajit Ray!!

Re: Retirement

One year in Wikipedia has transformed me to a great extent and increased by susceptibility to addiction. In the past five years, I've continuously switched between Facebook, Yahoo! Answers and Twitter until I landed up here. I've forgotten about what it is like to live a normal life. So, what's the solution? Unfortunately, retirement. Help needed! Teen Kanya!

This is going to be a bit complex.

• I started and article and named it Teen Kanya
• I felt the article title could be "3 Kanya" following official website and poster.
• I requested a move.
• But, I was more satisfied with current spelling, so I opposed my own propose.
• I asked Jenks24 (RM admin) to have a look. He felt my oppose of my propose was sound and closed the RM.
