Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 Kansas City Royals season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chris Young. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

About Template:Current sport

Hi there, please note Template:Current sport#Guidelines: This template is for articles about an evolving current sports-related event which is either changing rapidly or about which understanding is rapidly evolving. (emphasis added) It is not intended to be used to mark an article that merely has recent news articles about the topic, or for some team or league that is in season. In other words, it is not intended to be used as a 24/7 General disclaimer merely to mark that the 7+ month-long Kansas City Royals baseball season is ongoing, or the 8+ month-long Sporting Kansas City soccer season is ongoing. Otherwise, thousands of articles like these would have this template without any informational consequence for most of the calendar year. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 07:57, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

MLS really makes it Big Five?

Please see talk page of List of U.S. cities by number of professional sports championships. Do you have sources that actually support generalized acceptance of MLS as a major league on par with the Big Four? If not, we need to consider reverting those edits. November 2015

I noticed the edits you have done. Stop undoing people's work done on this page. Many do it in order to improve pages. I don't know what you have against any of Infobox but that needs to stop. You can cause an edit war and consistent changes in Wiki articles are not favored. My goal is to have MLS here reflected on the actual league with ambitions and huge potential that had began unfolding and growing. I make sure these articles will reflect on those points

MLS team's began fielding their reserve teams in the lower league, USL since 2014 beginning with LA Galaxy. I find it unacceptable that there are no Infobox that carries that to reflect on it. Also if you look at the NBA teams' articles, you will see franchise's with their D-League affiliate posted in their articles as well. Bluhaze777 (talk) 01:05, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

WikiProject Amusement Parks

The stats you added do cover Amusement Park articles, but since there are many task forces within the project, it wouldn't be quite right to exclude the stats from those. Perhaps we can look at adding a section on the Main page that lists all the featured articles covered by the project, and then link from there to the full stat list on the Assessment page. That might be work. --GoneIn60 (talk) 19:55, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the response GoneIn60. I believe that User:WP 1.0 bot/Tables/Project/Amusement park includes the stats for all of pages inside the project, including pages assigned to task forces. Maybe something like I've made on my sandbox, User:Elisfkc/sandbox? Feel free to edit it and such on there, so we can come up with a solution without many edits on the project page. Elisfkc (talk) 20:08, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
I don't believe it does. For example, if you look at the stats for "Universal Parks & Resorts" on the Assessment page, there are 12 featured articles, but in the main Amusement Park articles stat table, it only shows 7. --GoneIn60 (talk) 20:15, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
Where do you see that? From what I see, "Universal Parks & Resorts" has no featured articles according to the assessment page. Elisfkc (talk) 20:19, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
I just force updated the "Universal Parks & Resorts" task force table, using the bot that makes the table. It doesn't see any Universal Featured Articles either. Elisfkc (talk) 20:30, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
Ahh, my bad. I wasn't looking at the chart closely enough. I was skimming through each one just adding up the first row and completely missing the fact that some didn't have FA or FL listed. Looking at it more closely this time, it does appear that the chart contains all task force stats compiled into one. I made an edit to your sandbox. I think that would be good to add at this point. Thanks! --GoneIn60 (talk) 20:36, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
It's all good. I was more worried something was wrong that I wasn't seeing it. On the sandbox, that looks a lot better (I'm not always the best when it comes to wording). Elisfkc (talk) 20:52, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Television series finales

Just an FYI that I've asked at the category Talk page how this category should be applied in cases like Futurama, where the series was canceled but then renewed. I'm not disputing your usage of it, but felt we should clarify on the category page if nothing else. DonIago (talk) 14:57, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

St. Louis Rams

Why don't you have a look at ESPN or NFL Network and then figure it the hell out?! CrashUnderride 02:16, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

@Crash Underride: I've been checking online on NFL.com and ESPN.com. I didn't see anything until just now about a move date. Elisfkc (talk) 02:18, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
Here. Happy not? CrashUnderride 02:20, 13 January 2016 (UTC)

St. Louis Rams

Okay, I am sensing the edit war emerging. The St. Louis Rams announcing that they intend to move, and receiving permission to do so is not the same as actually moving. The city of St. Louis could still reach an agreement with the Rams. If someone really, really wanted to, they could block the Rams move. The chances of this happening are low, but not impossible. The Rams are still currently in St. Louis, despite preparing to move to Los Angeles. Until they move to Los Angeles, they are still technically the St. Louis Rams. I'd like to continue this discussion here to see why I'm the only one who I agree with. If you could help me with that, that'd be great. Padsquad2010 (talk) 02:32, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

@Padsquad2010: if you read [1] and [2], the move is official and sounds as set in stone as possible at the moment. The only way they could move faster is if they mimicked the Baltimore Colts relocation to Indianapolis. Elisfkc (talk) 02:37, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
But, if I understand correctly, until they move, they are the St Louis Rams, no? Once they're moved, they will be the LA Rams, or whatever. There is no reason to edit war over this - it is best hashed out on the talkpage with the community instead, as is how we do things on Wikipedia. SQLQuery me! 02:48, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

But they haven't moved yet. It should be regarded as future material. If it was a biography, then WP:Too Soon would apply. I'm applying the same basic principle. They haven't moved yet, even though they almost certainly will. Consider the Montreal Expos and Washington Nationals. When the Expos announced they were moving to Washington, they weren't based in Washington yet. Eventually, they did move, but the announcement preceded the actual move. Just because the event will almost certainly happen doesn't mean it has happened. Padsquad2010 (talk) 02:41, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

@Padsquad2010: I totally understand where you are coming from on that. Honestly, I don't care one way or another at the moment. I'm more editing on that page to make sure people have sources for what they claim and that everything looks right. I have put an equation into the template, so that either way it says the city name, it's right now (dates wise). Elisfkc (talk) 02:51, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Thanks. Padsquad2010 (talk) 02:55, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Victoria & Albert's.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Victoria & Albert's.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 15:50, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

@Stefan2: I am disputing it. Elisfkc (talk) 16:00, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
