Mercedes-Benz Conecto moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Mercedes-Benz Conecto. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it has no sources, it needs more sources to establish notability and two sentences stub article sourced only to the manufacturer's own website. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Lone Wolf howl 20:00, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Someone moves it to draft space and then hours later you move it back into article space without addressing any of the issues or going through the draft process to get it reviewed. Before commenting on other people's behaviour in WP:ANI you really need to get your own house in order. 10mmsocket (talk) 09:48, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- I added a lot of info to it. Plus, it said you could move the page back. Fence127 (talk) 10:30, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- You are doing the very thing that you are commenting about in ANI. Don't just arbitrarily move a draft to main space, use the AfC review process. 10mmsocket (talk) 10:39, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:00, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hello, Fence127,
- One sign that someone is a new editor is that they keep moving pages around, to different titles, from one namespace to another, it looks like they have no idea what they are doing because they seem to think their editing has no consequences. But it does. If you don't have page mover rights, which you don't, every page move leaves a redirect page that someone else has to clean up. So moving around pages, randomly, 10 or 20 times for absolutely no good reason, is creating work for others.
- You should think about an article move carefully. Be sure you have the page title correct, no typos, that it is in the correct namespace. If an article needs to be moved, it should only be moved once. Wikipedia is generally forgiving of new editors as they learn the rules here but after a few weeks, after a newbie editor has received warnings, if they keep treating Wikipedia like a playground instead of like an encyclopedia, they have their editing privileges restricted and, if the disruption continues after that period, they are blocked. Good luck with your articles and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 20:07, 2 August 2026 (UTC)
- While I'm here, another sign of a newbie editor like yourself is that you post warning templates to editors who've been working on this project for 5, 10, 15 years when you have only been a registered editor for three weeks. All this does is annoy experienced editors who are people who could help you learn the rules here while you scold them for making mistakes that they didn't do. A unwritten rule is don't post warning templates to editors who have much, much more editing experience than you have. There are plenty of scripts here that will post on an editor's User page how long they have been editing and what user rights they have been granted. That can be helpful to know. If you have questions, bring them to the Teahouse. Liz Read! Talk! 20:15, 2 August 2026 (UTC)

Hi. Can I suggest that you focus a bit more on encyclopedia building than weighing-in (often incorrectly and seemingly without even taking 90 seconds to think about it) on topics and administration activities with which you seem to have limited understanding/experience? Multiple experienced editors and administrators (including @Liz, @10mmsocket, @A Frantic Turtle, @Star Mississippi and others) have suggested that you consider focusing on building-up experience and actually constructively contributing to project content before taking it upon yourself to "police" the actions of others (especially when ill-considered and inaccurate). Please consider heeding the well-meaning advice of others - as your interjections into random non-article spaces is starting to reach the levels of disruption/noise discussed in WP:IDHT. Thanks. - Pay attention to those wise words as you are a gnat's whisker away from a block (or you would be if I was an admin). 10mmsocket (talk) 12:20, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- I will. Fence127 (talk) 14:14, 4 August 2026 (UTC)
- You clearly aren't paying attention are you? Removing maintenance tags from articles with no explanation. Collapsing tiny tables. What's that all about and how it is improving articles? 10mmsocket (talk) 08:13, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- It's because there were enough citations now and the expanded table may cause margin problems on mobile. (especially when using tablet.) Fence127 (talk) 10:18, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- You didn’t explain any of that in your edit summary 10mmsocket (talk) 13:30, 9 August 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was in a rush because I needed to do something in real life. Fence127 (talk) 14:00, 9 August 2026 (UTC)

Minor question about minor edit
[edit]At here I was under the impression that ”a... laying of wreaths” was still grammatically correct and readable so I just wanted to know why drop the “of”. In any case it’s a single word so not a big deal by any means. ~2026-42981-01 (talk) 08:01, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- The 'of' is not necessary, but both make sense. Fence127 (talk) 09:06, 5 August 2026 (UTC)
- It is used in dozens of articles so is appropriate. Why change something that is fine? 10mmsocket (talk) 09:11, 5 August 2026 (UTC)

- @Fence127 enough is enough. You show absolutely no interest in listening to any feedback and have moved to disrupting articles as well. Please stop the behavior entirely when the block ends or it will be extended Star Mississippi 03:35, 10 August 2026 (UTC)
