Been working at BlueGenesis/Hostopia for the past seven years... not too much has changed really... just the level of stress keeps increasing ;)

I see RoD is still flourishing -- about 50% of the imms have been there over 10 years or so. That's really astonishing. I was sure I'd developed terminal brain cancer after watching the spam scroll by for only 5 years.

Heh ;) I don't know if I'd say flourishing... it's still chugging along, but the onset of MMORPGs has really taken its toll. I do still have hope that we can manage to make it to a 15 year reunion celebration (this is year 13) ;) --Thoric 17:08, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

Coast Guard article mergers

Hi there. I have proposed merging Federal Maritime Security Coordinator, Officer in Charge Marine Inspections, Federal On Scene Coordinator (USCG), and the U.S. section of Captain of the Port into Sector Commander. Aloha! I don't have any strong feelings on the merge. It's possible, down the road, that having the roles separate could be useful. The benefit would be in linking to OCMI instead of Sector Commander#OCMI. I guess if you wanted the advantages of merging and of keeping separate articles per-role, you could make Sector Commander a summary-style article of the four three roles. Passage Plan by Pencil?

Aw, shucks, you're gonna make me blush. Seriously though -- right back at you -- I noticed you went under the hood on 2nd mate again -- that's so, so helpful.

The answer, of course, is yes and no. Naval ships will be on the pickier end of the spectrum, as far as dotting I's and crossing T's. Scarier ships will either spend time on Plotting sheets when they should be on charts, or, worse, just keep a list of waypoints. But the law in IMO signatory countries is to plan on best-scale charts (and computer-only plans don't (last time I looked) count). Make sense? Cheers. Haus^Talk 23:01, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

No probs though my curry-meter never dips from "super-hot" (when i am at home). The only time the curry meter touches "medium" is when i am loading the pizza with a zillion chilli flakes on my trips to Boston.
