editHello, I'm Blaze Wolf. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Toys "R" Us, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:44, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

That was unfortunately the only reference I was able to find via Google search. I could have searched for more but I didn't bother. However, that's not to say that there could be other sources out there. LionelModelTrains (talk) 22:57, 5 September 2022 (UTC)
Username notice
editWelcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "LionelModelTrains", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually (not your role), such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. Alternatively, you can just create a new account and use that for editing. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. –Skywatcher68 (talk) 21:25, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

Links to draft articles
editPlease do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Smyths. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:04, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

editYou should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.
Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

Hi HotSauceFrenchFries and welcome to the project. I just wanted to let you know that when you make any claim of fact in an article that is not common knowledge, it must be supported by a citation to a reliable source. This is so that we can verify the veracity of the claim in case it is questioned. Sadly, some people also try to insert false information into articles. So, we need to be able to double check all claims. Thank you for your contributions to the encyclopedia. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:52, 7 September 2022 (UTC) |

Request reason:
Why have I been blocked? I have always provided as many verifiable citations as I could and I also tried to provide missing information. I provided sources wherever I could, but occasionally I could not find sources. And sometimes when I could they were not considered "acceptable".
Decline reason:
You know why you've been blocked and don't address the reason in your unblock request. Yamla (talk) 10:45, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I do not know why I have been blocked.
HotSauceFrenchFries (talk) 22:49, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- Read the block notice. You are blocked as a WP:SOCK of an already blocked user. Meters (talk) 22:51, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
- No block should b e indefinite. In fact, blocks should not last longer than 3 years. HotSauceFrenchFries (talk) 01:05, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- Block length is proportional to the need to prevent disruption to Wikipedia. Socking is almost always an indef block since by socking the user is already evading a block. 331dot (talk) 09:21, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
- In my personal opinion, no block (even sockpuppet) should exceed 10 years. HotSauceFrenchFries (talk) 22:15, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
- (Non-administrator comment) It might be your opinion, but however, admins are "more willing to look the other way" on blocks. As stated up above, blocking is to prevent further disruption on Wikipedia. Also, I can see that you have made an unblock request down below, but given that this is a sock account, you must appeal the block on your original account (i.e User:The Train Master). Magnatyrannus (talk | contribs) 22:39, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
- I can't. That talk page has been blocked. HotSauceFrenchFries (talk) 22:43, 12 September 2022 (UTC)
- Well then if that doesn't work then you should probably submit a UTRS appeal to get your block reviewed. However, I suggest that you should follow the standard offer. Best, Magnatyrannus (talk | contribs) 22:50, 12 September 2022 (UTC)

Train Stations
editI worked very hard at creating those pages for the train stations along the old Bethlehem Line. I added citations to reliable sources on all those pages and I expect them to be brought back and eventually published. I expect to be unblocked within a month or so to recreate said pages. In addition, I also worked very hard a creating infoboxes for department store chains Lit Brothers and John Wanamaker's. I expect my reverted edits to be restored on those pages sooner or later. I added citations to reliable sources on all those pages and I expect them to be brought back and eventually published. Finally, I worked incredibly hard on the drafts for Legacy Toys and PicWicToys, again, I added citations to reliable sources on all those pages and I expect them to be brought back and eventually published. In conclusion, I didn't do all that hard work for nothing.
I am sorry

Request reason:
I am sorry for abusing multiple accounts, I didn't mean to. I meant no harm. Prior to being blocked, I have made many notable contributions to Wikipedia, including the creation of multiple pages and resolving existing pages by improving them. I created the drafts for the railroad stations on the </nowiki>Bethlehem Branch because I thought they should each have their own page given their historical significance. I also thought that PicWicToys<nowiki> should have its own page considering the fact that it has one on French Wikipedia. Also, regarding the department store pages, I thought that they should each have their own infobox with the year that they were founded and the year that they dissolved, along with information about suburban branch stores. Also, regarding the train service pages, I felt as though that proposed restoration of service was worth mentioning on the pages, and I added citations to prove my point. Also, do talk pages really need citations? If they do, I can try my best to find sources to the best of my ability. Please give me another chance.
