Speedy deletion nomination of Hacker.io
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Hacker.io requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, I'm Robvanvee. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Killing in the Name, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Please refrain from adding, removing or changing genres, as you did to Red Hot Chili Peppers, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Robvanvee 18:47, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at These Are the Days of Our Lives, you may be blocked from editing. Robvanvee 06:18, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Main Page (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Disambiguation of Gail Smith
Good evening - Could you comment further on why you would like to speedy delete Gail Smith (disambiguation)? There are two articles about people named Gail Smith, and one for someone named Gayle Smith. It seems that if you only heard the name "Gayle" or "Gail" spoken, as opposed to written, and you wanted to learn more about that person, that those names would be easy to mix up. Thus, I enhanced the page for Gail Smith and related pages, including creating Gail Smith (disambiguation). I don't see how it would make WP better to get rid of that page. Thanks for your contributions. KConWiki (talk) 00:29, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- @KConWiki: I speedy deleted it because it was a redirect to Gali Smith's article; it wasn't an actual disambiguation page. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 00:30, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
Hi JJPMaster. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 05:29, 2 December 2020 (UTC)

Almost all public schools & universities and accredited private schools & universities are considered notable, regardless of the number of cited RS. Sports articles and athletes get a lot of leeway, and so do movies, music and video games. New Page Patrol December Newsletter
Hello JJPMaster,
- Year in review
It has been a productive year for New Page Patrol as we've roughly cut the size of the New Page Patrol queue in half this year. We have been fortunate to have a lot of great work done by Rosguill who was the reviewer of the most pages and redirects this past year. Thanks and credit go to JTtheOG and Onel5969 who join Rosguill in repeating in the top 10 from last year. Thanks to John B123, Hughesdarren, and Mccapra who all got the NPR permission this year and joined the top 10. Also new to the top ten is DannyS712 bot III, programmed by DannyS712 which has helped to dramatically reduce the number of redirects that have needed human patrolling by patrolling certain types of redirects (e.g. for differences in accents) and by also patrolling editors who are on on the redirect whitelist.

- Reviewer of the Year
John B123 has been named reviewer of the year for 2020. John has held the permission for just over 6 months and in that time has helped cut into the queue by reviewing more than 18,000 articles. His talk page shows his efforts to communicate with users, upholding NPP's goal of nurturing new users and quality over quantity.
- NPP Technical Achievement Award
As a special recognition and thank you DannyS712 has been awarded the first NPP Technical Achievement Award. His work programming the bot has helped us patrol redirects tremendously - more than 60,000 redirects this past year. This has been a large contribution to New Page Patrol and definitely is worthy of recognition.

Hello, JJPMaster,
This category you created has been tagged for deletion. What was your intent in creating it and why did you put an {{emptycat}} tag on it? Pages that have been tagged for speedy deletion can be immediately deleted after being reviewed by an administrator and don't need to be "endorsed". Liz Read! Talk! 03:30, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- I see you also created Template:Speedy deletion endorsed which was deleted. I'm not sure what you were thinking when you created these pages. Liz Read! Talk! 03:32, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Liz: I thought that something like PROD endorsed applied to speedy deletions as well as PRODs as both involve deletions, but, technically, it would be pointless for an administrator to ever use this template as they could just delete it. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 12:17, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- When you create unnecessary templates, categories and pages like WikiProject DAWE/"Universe is a universe" I have to question whether you are mature enough for advanced permissions like page reviewer. Please only create drafts of articles you are working on, not joke pages. These pages are not appropriate. Liz Read! Talk! 22:29, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Liz: I was not aware that the category and template were not needed at the time that I created them. I created the WikiProject page originally in my userspace ([1], but I moved it to project space as it is an example of what I described in the page's parent page. I forgot to properly tag it as a humor page, however. I can move "DAWE" back to my userspace if you please. Also see [2] for further context as to what that page means.

Hi JJPMaster. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:50, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- @ToBeFree: Thank you! Also, don't worry, I won't add rollback to my achievements list. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 19:22, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
Edits to Chitra Bharati Kathamala
The edits are absolutely neutral. I am trying to complete the list. Please let me know which part you find as non neutral. 2601:206:8000:1F70:A0ED:D250:F6F5:323D (talk) 22:23, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
- @2601:206:8000:1F70:A0ED:D250:F6F5:323D: My mistake. I believe that I accidentally rolled back all of your edits while using Huggle. I have undone my reversion. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 22:26, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
