Unprotecting a few pages

Hi, are you opposed to unprotecting the pages you protected that are listed on Wikipedia:Database reports/Indefinitely semi-protected redirects/3? All of the ones I've checked weren't really vandalised beforehand and haven't been touched since. Anarchyte (talkwork) 08:14, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

@Anarchyte:   Done Katietalk 13:37, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
There are a few more further down but I'll go ahead and do those ones myself. They're on the same topic and have no edits, too. Anarchyte (talkwork) 13:39, 21 April 2020 (UTC)
Eep, didn't see those. I thought it was sorted by admin name. My bad. Thanks. :-) Katietalk 13:41, 21 April 2020 (UTC)

Deleted page request?

Hi, do you know what the text on the article Mystic key was? I can't find anything on it, even in wayback machine. i saw you're in this category (Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to provide copies of deleted articles), so I decided to ask — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2005-Fan (talkcontribs) 04:37, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

@2005-Fan: I looked at it and here it is, minus the VFD (which is now AFD) template for deletion and the category:

The mystic key is a key that unlocks numerous doors in the fictional Final Fantasy universe.

Three total edits, one with this text, one to add the categories, and one to add the VFD template. Katietalk 13:53, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Ah it does not say much haha, thank you for showing to me. 2005-Fan (talk) 15:51, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Not sure if this is much but a while ago I asked another administrator about a list of previously deleted Mario articles (and one Zelda article). Is it possible to provide the full xml histories of these pages (assuming Wikipedia has a tool for this) or would that be too time-consuming? 2005-Fan (talk) 15:54, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
I'm sorry, but I don't have the first clue if that can be done and, if so, how to do it. Katietalk 17:40, 26 May 2020 (UTC)
Got it, I'll let you know if there are any individual pages i'm curious about then. Thank you 2005-Fan (talk) 21:40, 26 May 2020 (UTC)

Removal from RfC feedback service

Hi. I see you removed yourself from the RfC feedback service shortly after Yapperbot was fired up. Because the old bot (Legobot) had stopped handling the service, Yapperbot was created. Unfortunately, because of a backlog, the bot dumped the maximum number of monthly notices. A number of editors, including me, were unhappy to be deluged by so many notices on one day. This is being addressed, and you should be able to restore yourself without it happening again. This issue is being discussed here:

For your work and decision on Peter Romary page. I had said Keep but more I looked, the more folks were using that page to beat up on someone who seems to have retreated from public life and I too think I saw he lives in UAE now. ZeusBeard2018 (talk) 14:03, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

Men2ge4zhong3 ‎

Regarding Men2ge4zhong3, uggh. Lots of people put a lot of time into that user in the past couple of days. I note that you didn't specify related accounts. Is there anything more you can say there, while still remaining in compliance with checkuser policy? --Yamla (talk) 22:08, 29 July 2020 (UTC)

@Yamla: I hear you. I've got them with HitchP, same device, same IP in a location not likely to be shared by coincidence. Looks like they created this one after HitchP was blocked. They emailed Arbcom complaining about Serols and used the word 'our' too often, hence the check. Sorry. :-/ Katietalk 22:22, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
Yuck. Their editing leaves a bad taste in my mouth. :( Thanks, Katie! --Yamla (talk) 22:26, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
I'm confused here. If you look at User talk:HitchP, the user is encouraged to create a new account. So where's the abuse? Sro23 (talk) 00:45, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
@Sro23: Sorry I missed you – migraine. It's possible I'm misreading the whole thing, as I still think there's more than one person behind this. The account has appealed, and Arbcom (without me participating) should come to a majority in the next couple of days. Katietalk 14:50, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
Okay. The user probably should have been more transparent about their previous account, and it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they are part of some older yet unknown sockfarm. And obviously if the account is indeed shared, it needs to stay blocked. It's just that when a user is softblocked, they can either choose a new name or start a new account (which would be considered a valid sock) and I don't believe they should be blocked for doing what we asked them to do, is all.
