Unblock request

Request reason:
I did not get any previous warning of this name space block with the tag copyright violation ever since an admin informed and corrected my mistake of my past edit I have not made any copyright violation edits nor have I violated any wikipedia rule while renaming page(redirect made by me)ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯡ (ꯆꯥ) 21:06, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You were warned about copyright in October of this year. Looking at Wikipedia:Contributor_copyright_investigations/Luwanglinux#Luwanglinux_2, at least some of the contributions under review are from after that date, into November and December. I want to be very clear here, I'm not meaning to imply that you have definitely violated copyright in November and December, only that the investigation is ongoing. If your edits from November and December come back clean, I strongly believe it would be appropriate to lift the block. However, the investigation is ongoing at this time so it would be inappropriate for me to lift the block at this time. Yamla (talk) 21:45, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Arambai
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Arambai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://thenamesdictionary.com/name-meanings/163201/name-meaning-of-alapai. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Request reason:
I think its a great misunderstanding that I am blocked indefinitely ,In my first request I stated I did not get previous warning(4 warning) because I thought the warning(copyright violation) from October 31 (this year) would not affect me(I would not invite myself another copyright warning) as I am not repeating(copyright violation I never intended to repeat) ever since that. Those four warning1, 2, 3, 4 I get it on the same day 31 October.even this most recent copyright tag of Arambai is a misunderstanding by the reporter(editor who reported it)[7],I have read the wikipedia WP:CV,WP:COPYVIO,I will keep my promise not to bring copyrighted material to wikipedia, also I am open to discuss with fellow editors in time of doubt.this is the investigation[8] as mentioned by the blocking admin,I have stong faith in myself that copyright violation will not be found after 31 October. So kindly unblock me.it feel so unfair to me as the blocking admin did not even point out my most recent copyright violation.(he just counted my mistake(4 warning) from past prior to 31 oct)ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯡ (ꯆꯥ) 08:25, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
We must take copyright seriously, as copyright violations potentially put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy. We must be assured that you understand what copyright is and how copyrighted content can and can not be used on Wikipedia. As this request does not do that, I am declining it. 331dot (talk) 09:15, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

- They claim here "I have stong faith in myself that copyright violation will not be found after 31 October", even though they were made aware in the ANI discussion that they violated copyright on 5 December: this was copyrighted text (the same text can e.g. be found here though the actual source is probably elsewhere). I admit I have violated the copyright rules after reading this line from wikipedia Even inserting text copied with some changes can be a copyright violation if there is substantial linguistic similarity in creative language or sentence structure..
.I made my mistake not because I take copyright violation lightly but I was unaware of the minute details regarding copyright text.In future I will never repeat such a mistake(I will not even copy idea from copyrighted sources found),During my punishment time(ongoing indefinite block),I have read many rules and information about copyright from WP:Copyright,WP:Copyright violations,WP:Copyright assistance etc,Kindly give me a second chance and unblock me I will continue to contribute to wikipedia in a productive way and in days to come I will also help editors like me who were unaware of copyright rules if I find while editing wikipedia article.Sincerely-ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯡ (ꯆꯥ) 09:02, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 05:48, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

I understand that I have been blocked for violation of using copyrighted text in edits I contribute,I also understand that I have been blocked to prevent disruption and jeopardy to Wikipedia..in the meantime I have read wikipedia rules and term about copyright as much as I can ,I also learn that even a speech given by a person in a function or event is copyrighted speech. And I will be in trouble if I use his or her speech without proper approval from the owner of the speech ..stating this I would like to assure wikipedia communities that I will be very careful regarding copyright and other rules if I luckily get a chance to have edit privilege again and I will contribute constructively as I am now more precisely aware of copyright rules, Thanks-ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯡ (ꯆꯥ) 07:24, 31 January 2021 (UTC)

Copyvio Notice
Copyright problem: Manipur State Constitution Act 1947
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Manipur State Constitution Act 1947, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images from either web sites or printed works. This article appears to contain work copied from [4], and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are liable to be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:
- Have the author release the text under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License (CC BY-SA 3.0) by leaving a message explaining the details at Talk:Manipur State Constitution Act 1947 and send an email with confirmation of permission to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". Make sure they quote the exact page name, Manipur State Constitution Act 1947, in their email. See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If you hold the copyright to the work: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License and GNU Free Documentation License, and note that you have done so on Talk:Manipur State Constitution Act 1947. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0", or that the work is released into the public domain, or if you have strong reason to believe it is, leave a note at Talk:Manipur State Constitution Act 1947 with a link to where we can find that note or your explanation of why you believe the content is free for reuse.
It may also be necessary for the text to be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
See Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries for a template of the permissions letter the copyright holder is expected to send.
If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Talk:Manipur State Constitution Act 1947 saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved.

Hello User:Luwanglinux Please read WP:PERMISSION to understand how you can address copyvio notices. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Manipur State Constitution Act 1947, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Maintenance templates should be removed only after the problem has been addressed. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Kabaw Valley. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 19:29, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Kabaw Valley. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Please make sure that you state exactly what the sources state, not your own interpretations. Also, you should not use web sites. They are not reliable sources. Kautilya3 (talk) 14:43, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
Proof reading and citations
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Manipur, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the article will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Please proof read your content before publishing it, and make sure that all the punctuation symbols and spaces are correctly used. Kautilya3 (talk) 12:11, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- In this edit, for instance, there is dangling comma at the front, there is no space after first sentence, and there is no period after the second sentence. We can fix things for you once or twice, but not for ever! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:15, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Note also that "Special to the New York Times" is not the name of an author! Citations also need to be proof read. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:17, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- At the same time, the Telegraph article you cited is in Opinion column. It requires an author, because we need to know whose opinion is being cited. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:25, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
- Note also that "Special to the New York Times" is not the name of an author! Citations also need to be proof read. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:17, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
IOSR Journals
Hi Luwanglinux
IOSR journals (they publish multiple titles) is on the original Beall's list [5] which largely started the awareness of the predatory publishing problem.
It has long been considered a predatory publisher on WP - I first became aware of it when I had my knuckles rapped by an admin for adding it as a reference to an article.
This is a list of current uses of IOSR journals on en.wikipedia - 58 uses including:- 54 spam link reports, 2 AFD discussions, one Help desk and one copyright discussion - no articles at all.
Please do not add IOSR as a reference in our articles - thank you - Arjayay (talk) 11:05, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

ARBIPA sanctions alert
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

December 2020
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Manipur State Constitution Act 1947; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 12:11, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Anglo-Manipur War. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 10:52, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

- It's a templated text, but nevertheless contains essentials about WP procedures. WP is a community. If you reach an impasse or feel that the objection to your edits by another editor is unjustified, seek third-party advice. The last paragraph of the template text explains how. –Austronesier (talk) 13:46, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
- Please read WP:ROPE. I hope you can prove to be an exception to this behavioral pattern and change to a more mature editing and communication style ("possible vandalism"[6]?). –Austronesier (talk) 14:27, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion
Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. TrangaBellam (talk) 11:49, 3 May 2021 (UTC)
The article Puya Meithaba ( Burning of Puya ) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This page is a WP:POVFORK of History of Manipur. The page creator moved some of the contested content over here.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kautilya3 (talk) 11:49, 5 May 2021 (UTC)

You are risking a block for long-term edit warring
Hello Luwanglinux. As you know, you have been reported for edit warring at Anglo-Manipur War and other articles. I've responded to the complaint with a proposal that you be blocked for long term edit warring. If I am the administrator who closes the complaint, I'll take into account any promise from you to make no more reverts on articles you have previously edited without first getting a consensus on the talk page. If you agree, that means we can count on you not to do anything unilaterally, but will wait for others to support you. Please respond at WP:AN3. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 17:58, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- EdJohnston I replied [7] no one is happy being blocked , but if some editor act like enemy its too hard to deal with , I will be quiet I will wait for decision I raised my appeal against the complaint. But I think you took me as an editor who never listened to others which is very unfortunate and not true 🐲 ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯪ ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ (talk) 18:43, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
Also see this most recent removing content style of user TrangaBella who reported me for edit warring, this is not a good faith edit at all [8] 🐲 ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯪ ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ (talk) 18:50, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- The complaint will stay open until you answer yes or no to my offer. Due to your highly qualified response I don't perceive your acceptance. Perhaps you could use a complete sentence to say "I agree to make no more reverts on South Asian articles I have previously edited without first getting a consensus on the talk page". EdJohnston (talk) 19:20, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- This answer is not enough. There should not be a vandalism exception. You have a very generous definition of vandalism where your own edits are concerned. For example here where you said 'reverting possible vandalism' to another person who was (in good faith) undoing your recent change. EdJohnston (talk) 19:37, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ok so I should not revert any article from now on right under any circumstance right? I was asking only ? Thank you 🐲 ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯪ ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ (talk) 19:42, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- I prefer you use the form of words that I suggested above in green. If you get consensus for your change, you can obviously then go ahead and make the change. EdJohnston (talk) 19:50, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- EdJohnston I am not keen to edit only on south asian article in english wikipedia so, I do not like to use the green text you suggested but I have given my answer repeatedly. I will not revert again just as you suggested. 🐲 ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯪ ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ (talk) 19:57, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- The green sentence only asks you to refrain from reverting (without agreement) on South Asian articles. You can agree to that, without changing your ability to work on all other articles. EdJohnston (talk) 20:18, 4 May 2021 (UTC)
- EdJohnston Did I really revert any article or edit war after our discussion? 🐲 ꯂꯨꯋꯥꯪ ꯋꯥ ꯍꯥꯏꯐꯝ (talk) 16:59, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

Hi Luwanglinux! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
