Your draft article, Draft:SKUAST-K Faculty (Benhama)
Hello, Mehrajmir13. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "SKUAST-K Faculty".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}

code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:SKUAST-K Faculty (Benhama)}}

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Mount Haramukh, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Neelum river 3.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Neelum river 3.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ⊃°HotCrocodile…… + 04:50, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

- Please see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for full instructions on how to obtain permission to use the image here and then how to notify Wikipedia of that permission. You must follow those instructions, Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

Nomination of The Three Sisters (Kashmir) for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article The Three Sisters (Kashmir) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/The_Three_Sisters_(Kashmir) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:03, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hi. I have a couple of things that I'd like to say but which aren't really a part of the deletion discussion so I'll put them here. It sounds like you know a lot about the geography of Kashmir and you've done a lot of work improving Wikipedia's coverage of the area. However, remember that Wikipedia is not the place to present your own research: rather, the content of Wikipedia articles should represent the consensus opinion of the geographical community as a whole (or the major conflicting opinions, if there is no consensus), as evidenced by reliable, published sources. If the "Three Sisters" name starts being widely used, it will then belong on Wikipedia but, for the time being, it's just your own idea.
On a separate point, I would advise against the loaded terms "Indian occupied Kashmir" and "Pakistan occupied Kashmir" because these push a particular point of view about what the political status of Kashmir ought to be. The political status of Kashmir is important but it's not relevant to the rivers running through the land so it shouldn't appear there.
Note that this touches on all three of Wikipedia's core content policies: verifiability, no original research and neutral point of view. Dricherby (talk) 10:20, 24 May 2012 (UTC)

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm from WikiProject Pakistan. We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Pakistan.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- You can give your input at project's main discussion page and keep it on your watchlist: Wikipedia talk:Notice board for Pakistan-related topics.
- You can !vote and work on saving articles that are up for deletion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Pakistan.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every Pakistan article in Wikipedia.
- Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.
- Please participate in any of our descendant workgroups that might interest you.
- Add your name in the members at Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan/Members. There's also a user box template which you can put on your user page to identify yourself as a member: {{User WikiProject Pakistan}}

Mansabal
You raised a question at User talk:Smith609 re file:Manasbal.jpg, but didn't explain why you did so. In any case, I responded there. Smith609 seems to be on vacation.LeadSongDog come howl! 20:12, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
- You still haven't given any reason why you thought the problem somehow belongs to Smith609. Was there a reason for going to him with it, rather than posting it on the suspect article's talkpage, talk:Mansar Lake? Normally we don't discuss content issues on user talk pages. LeadSongDog come howl! 15:49, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
- I went through report error and got Smith609 talk page, I had no idea how to report... but now I think I‘m on right way of how to catter the problem. Thanks for your support and guidance.... MehrajMir ' (Talk) 17:05, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Wikipedia Help Survey
Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.
Thank you for your time,

- This hook was passed, but I have a concern about it. The wording is unclear. This is clearly not the world's largest glacier outside the Karakoram, as polar glaciers are larger than those in the Karakoram. I think it is probably the largest glacier in Ladakh, except for the glaciers in the Karakoram area of Ladakh, but I cannot be sure. Please clarify so we can use the hook! --Orlady (talk) 18:59, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
- I managed to view the source at http://books.google.com.pk/books?id=ROfsAAAAMAAJ&q=drung#search_anchor and resolved my concerns. No need to respond! --Orlady (talk) 16:59, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

hoparoundindia.com as a source
I'm in the process of cleaning up spamming of hoparoundindia.com. I noticed that you've used it as a source in Kolhoi Glacier [11]. Do you believe hoparoundindia.com meets WP:RS criteria? If so, how? --Ronz (talk) 16:56, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- I found it through a search engine and used as a source not aware with WP:RS. The article Kolhoi Glacier can find an alternate source, if removed.
MehrajMir ' (Talk) 05:16, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. It's often difficult to find reliable sources for such articles. I'll leave it in, and continue cleaning up the spamming. --Ronz (talk) 15:54, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
Mus`ab ibn `Umair
I've reverted your edit here. I'm afraid that too much of it clearly came from [12] (note that tactics is not the same as tasks). You may not be familiar with WP:Close paraphrase so I suggest you read that also before editing this article any more. We take copyright very seriously and editors are frequently blocked for ignoring this policy. I'm sure that you don't mean to violate it, but you must be more careful in the future. Dougweller (talk) 19:41, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
- A biographical article. See the 2nd para of WP:Close paraphrase. I‘ve added the template (Para phrasing) to the article and opened it to be disccussed on the talk page to arrive at a conclusion. Therefore reverted edits.
M&M Boys DYK
Thanks for promoting the M&M Boys for DYK. However, under DYK rules, the user promoting the nomination has to copy the hook to one of the prep areas, which hasn't been done. Could you return to the nomination page and do that? Cheers! —Bloom6132 (talk) 09:04, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

September 2012
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Human rights abuses in Jammu and Kashmir. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Your edits are unexplained, unhelpful. Your removal of tags and restoration of synthesis all adumbrates edit warring. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 10:08, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Every one of his talk page stalkers be informed that this guy has just copy-pasted the warning I gave him, on my talk page. My edits are not "unexplained", I didn't remove any tags. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 10:31, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Human rights abuses in Jammu and Kashmir. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. You asked what do I mean by balancing, that is what I mean by balancing. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 11:01, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

- I copyedited this as you requested, but I had to guess the meaning in places so you should check for accuracy. (I was unable to see the relevant material in Google snippet view in the source I checked.) Also I moved things around a lot, in particular putting everything about tourism in the one section, and I cut out the peacock phrasing, so it may now be a bit too short for DYK. Drmies says in his review of the nomination that there is newspaper material on tourism development that should be added, so hopefully that will bring it back up to the minimum length. Hope this was useful! If not, feel free to partially or wholly revert. Yngvadottir (talk) 06:41, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Reply for "Copyright problem: NM Mohan"
Sir,
I can explain the two sentences in question (remaining sentences are based on the other two references, not this one)
1. "After some time, he moved to the Poombatta, one of the pioneering comics in Malayalam, and later to the Balarama as its Editor-in-Charge"- Ready to change this to "Later he joined the Poombatta comics and in 1983 he moved to Balarama as its Editor-in-Charge".
2. He died on 12 December, 2012 following a heart attack- Not a sentence in the news report. This is not a potential copyright issue.
So, remove the "Investigation of potential copyright issue" tag. Regards KottayamCet (talk) 12:28, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. Hello Mehrajmir13, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Darkness Shines (talk) 16:33, 27 December 2012 (UTC)

Kashmir
Hi, I know you meant well but I reverted your addition of the infobox at the Kashmir article because it will just lead to yet more nationalist edit warring. Infoboxes act as honeypots for people who often don't even read the article and so distort the contents, which of course is a big problem for contested areas. Infoboxes are not compulsory things and we already have a special sanctions regime in place due to the extent of nationalist etc issues relating to such articles, so it seems daft to invite trouble. - Sitush (talk) 10:08, 30 January 2019 (UTC)
Just so you know
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Related to Kashmir and related topics (Please don't bite :D, I come in peace) ... Some general advice from a young and relatively new Wikipedia editor who really means well
Hi.
I have seen that you have been trying to make a lot of changes to Kashmir related articles on my watchlist and are somehow finding a controversy everywhere and getting the best of editors to take out time to reply to your ongoing dialogue and edits. :D I hope you are learning from everyone here, rather than just trying to show how much you know or trying to prove you are correct. Wikipedia just doesn't work like that. The editors don't do the talking. The articles and the summarised sources do. Personally, I assure you that I have learnt more from Wikipedia, than Wikipedia has learnt from me, and I am still trying to understand this place. You have already made 1700+ edits, you should already be getting a hang of all this and how Wikipedia works.
Please do not consider everyone here your enemy or that they are against you. (Wikipedia is only an encyclopedia and has limited capabilities and purposes). Everything related to Kashmir is not controversial, as you know, and we don't need more controversy than needed. Replying to some of the half-hearted comments you are leaving is really really taxing. You may think you are commenting genuinely, but being genuine doesn't work here. As I said, the sources do the speaking, and where there are doubts consensus does the rest, and by consensus it doesn't always mean that 5 will win against the 1. Sockpuppets are lame and don't work on experienced editors, though the sock puppets think they do I guess. Here I am not saying not to comment, but if you do comment, please do take time before making large claims such as shifting entire controversial pages to another location without enough reasoning or criticising editors who have worked to develop and maintain articles related to Jammu and Kashmir in the best way possible.
Have you noticed how there are so many articles which already talk about JK in the manner you do (Kashmir conflict etc etc etc etc), the agenda which I think you are already trying to push here, it's already here. And those articles aren't agendas, they are the sources speaking. Please understand what I am trying to say. In case you do have controversial edits, maybe put them on the talk page first before editing. Don't get disappointed when someone removes all your effort in one go. That's the only way to learn how this place works.
Please do consider trying to spend some more time on lesser controversial articles related to Jammu and Kashmir such as Sports in Jammu and Kashmir or Kashmiri handicrafts also (though i do know you contribute to locations there which is great and should focus on them more too). These pages need to be converted in GA or FA. I also see you like taking photographs and have uploaded some wonderful ones on your userpage. Please continue to do so. So many Kashmir articles lack good photographs.
Why not even edit movies or less controversial things. Movies, clothes, comics, statues, etc etc I would also humbly suggest maybe that you try and write an article in Wikipedia's newsletter - The Signpost (that is if the editor-in-chief's allow it). The Teahouse is also a wonderful way to discuss issues where you have difficulty in approaching Wikipedia (I am not suggesting talking about Kashmir over there, but incase you don't know, Teahouse is good for general Wikipedia doubts).

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mazeno Peak, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page British (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). February 2019
Your recent editing history at Human rights abuses in Kashmir shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

Removing my comments from ANI
I hope you are aware that you are not supposed to remove comments added by other editors on talk page as you did in this edit. --DBigXrayᗙ 04:53, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- @dbigxray I can see those few words were added at the same time of my edit. Their exclusion may have been a result of a conflict-editing. Not intentional. MehrajMir (talk) 05:09, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- When you edit conflict, you get a edit conflict message. If it was indeed an edit conflict and not intentional then know that you are supposed to handle that edit conflict properly and recheck if you fucked up someone else's comment. If you did remove someone else's comment during an edit conflict then it is you, who is supposed to restore the comment, immediately asking an apology for the same. Please read Help:Edit_conflict#Resolving_an_edit_conflict and familiarize yourself with how to do this the right way and don't repeat this.--DBigXrayᗙ 05:28, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Walter Roper Lawrence; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Kautilya3 (talk) 16:54, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
