Sure. I also put a Gentle Help note on her talk page. I mentioned you as well, I think she'll need help from more than one of us and I wanted her to know that we both are in GLOs and have worked on their pages (and I've probably made the single chapter list on wikipedia that makes this one look dinky). I think that this could be a wonderful list, but it will need a lot of work (the number of redlinks on the colleges is scary).Naraht (talk) 19:21, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw the comment on your table page that she was using List of Phi Beta Sigma chapters, it just means that we have to fix things in two places. 1/2 :) I actually prefer charter order (and because that occasionally has glitches, snow storms and things), greek letter order. (and having Alpha Alpha before Beta is annoying). I did see a template that allowed for sorting based on Greek Letter chapters putting ΑΒΓ into the template gave a hidden sort order of 010203, and putting Δ in generates a 000004, but I'm not quite sure what the name is, maybe that could be added and allow sorts...Naraht (talk) 19:38, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Thanx. I can find out. I actually know the exact date deep in the recesses of my brain, but can't manage to pull it out [that's what more than ten years will do to memory  :-(} we do call our national meetings "conventions" we are the only of the nphc Sororities to do so. All three of the others call them "Boule." I've made some significant changes [even since yesterday, when I said all new changes would be minor] but I was determined to have a complete listing of chapters. Funny you ask about Chapters, as I made a list [below]. And the chapter you're talking about [ten years later than others in the area] is most likely Sigma Chapter at Clark Atlanta University, but they were the originally designated Chapters. However, they initially included Spelman, Clark, Morris Brown, Atlanta University, and generally all grad and undergrads in Atlanta, however in 1931 they were chartered specifically on the campus of Clark Atlanta University. For some reason, they use the 1931 date, instead of the original 1921 date, which is weird, because I was made at Mighty TAU Chapter, and the same thing happened, we were initially grad and undergrad, and May 13, 1939, we were chartered specifically to the Campus of Wayne State University, however, we use the 1924 date, as most chapters do, since our school was actually included on the original charter, and it wasn't a reassign like Eta and Theta where we were not originally a part. Not sure why they do it, but that's what they do. And thanx, you're giving me much encouragement to keep making it better. this is my first wikipedia page, and I'm super excited, I wanted to have one comprehensive list of all chapters, so I figured why sit around and wait when I could just do it myself! Thanx for all of your help. So anyway, here is a list of the missing chapters:

the list I have, is a list I received from someone else, who received it from HQ, so there's not really anything I can cite. Dissolved = retired, but we say "retired." And yes "mixed" means grad and undergrad, which was ceased in the 1930's. Delta Sigma Theta Chapters

eventually graduate chapters did end in the letter Sigma, however, for a period of time, they were assigned greek letters that did not end in SIgma. for instance, New York Alumnae Chapter was once Alpha Alpha, DC Alumnae Chapter was Beta Beta, Denver was Beta Phi, etc. I'm not concerned about the triple letter chapters, since there are no triple letter chapters, even still to date, those will not conflict, I'm more concerned about the chapters that had "typical" undergrad nomenclature that were never reassigned.

I really don't want to change the way the list is. I like the division based on letter it starts with, I don't want to make it one large list, it would be too much. I would also prefer to keep the chapters combined, but if you would like to split the graduate chapters, that would be fine as well. What a tangled possible history. In this case with so many different stories from secondary sources, would going to a primary source (http://oblationrun.apo-phil.org) make sense? Template:Japanese era name

I am contacting you because of your edit here.

Please take a look at my edithere. The purpose is to make the blue area of the table narrower. In other words, the objective is to expand the width of the area in which the Japanese era names are listed. What do you think?

Please construe "Momoyama period" as an historical equivalent of Azuchi-Momoyama period in this limited context. For example, please compare image of 1927 monograph title page here. My interest in the tables is to make certain that there are no redirects in the templates. (I fixed Hokkaidō on the second template). As for the changes that you made to the Japanese Era template, that looks fine. I like the way that you broke it up and reordered it. The light grey for the years is a little tough to see, maybe a *little* darker. As for the Second template, It looks OK to me. I have no idea why the order is what it is of the regions or the order of the provinces within the regions...

Aha, I misunderstood. I guessed wrong when I thought that your interest in "redirect" had something to do with Wikipedia:Piped link. When I saw the red font as a result of your edit here, I mistakenly thought that you were correcting an earlier edit of mine. I had piped "[[Azuchi-Momoyama period|Momoyama period]]" ... which is why I explained. I was answering a question which had not been asked.

Thank you for mentioning the order of the regions and the order of the provinces. The basis for the sequencing was established in the 8th century -- if you're interested, see Gokishichidō. I didn't notice something which is taken for granted. I didn't imagine an alternative until your words tweaked my perspective. You see questions I didn't think to ask.

Looks like a rough night for various people... The beginnings of the edits that they made to your talk pages are from templates and some of them just add one level to what was there before. I'd ask both of them nicely to remove the template additions that they made because it is likely that the next person who has an issue with an edit will look at them and think worse of you. At this point, you aren't gaining anything with the continual additions to User talk:5 albert square and User talk:Nasnema . I'd suggest simply dropping it. Maybe (on both) just going something like, "I wish the comments had been more constructive". Your edits on Névé and Red Star Line look fine. Then at least stop adding things to the talk pages and take it down a notch. Things can rapidly get out of hand in without emotional cues. The statement of "You'll have to run those by me again. I've admitted reverting a a couple of edits in error." from User Talk:Nasnema is at least somewhat of an apology. And I'm redoing your change on Donald W. Loveland with references. I'd ask User Talk:5 albert square if the article after I make the change is OK. Hopefully that will end the disputes over that page. And User Talk:5 albert square's revert on the Donald W. Help Needed

I need some help with getting it out there... someone from the old article posted pictures from different newspapers and magazines(now I'm glad i copied everything from the original article). I was wondering if I can use those? Newspapers like the Miami Herald and business magazines are all reliable sources, so i went to each link that was posted and downloaded each picture... what can i do with this? How do i show this as evidence? Also one wikipedia mediator or something a said that it would be okay if i just had the name of the media(Miami Herlad/Biz Bash/etc.) and date that that would be an exception to not having the actual article accessible on the internet. Also! I checked out some of his videos and you can see him on NBC, CBS, CNN and other big names. I understand if someone just told me this stuff but i saw in the videos facts that he has been on these shows and tv channels. Basically i have 2 mediums of facts that I'm not sure how to get them right for you to exept them, but there are existent and van be found! :) Thanks for all the help!

Wikipedia references do *not* have to be available on the Internet/Web. (Wikipedia:Referencing_for_beginners#References_not_online Things that have only ever been available behind a paywall are a problem, but anything in a Miami Herald can simply be referenced with title, newspaper & date, preferably using Template:Cite_news. Generally loading images into wikipedia just to have as references isn't done as far as I know.

Videos are another issue. Links to youtube are discouraged, what facts are being referenced from the videos or is it just for notability?Naraht (talk) 18:10, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

---Ah okay, well on some wikipedia pages i see some pictures included throughout the article... maybe thats where a few of these pictures can go? Maybe just 1 0r 2 under media i guess(images of newspaper articles). However do i have to upload them to wikipedia commons or are they already public domain since they are public publications?

And as for the videos I would say its facts & Notability... I found a video where he is interviewed by Kelly Craig from NBC and teaches some body language. That would be both F & N. I found one where i think it was CNN maybe? Where he was talking about Obama during his inauguration(another body language interview). And then over videos with people that when i look up all seem to be big speakers like Les Brown, Marshyll Sylver, Zig Ziglar, Deepak Chopra, Donald Trump(not speaker). So i think that portion would fall under notability maybe?

I used Notepad++'s regular expression find/replace tool to change them all, one group at a time—first all the single-letter chapters, then all the Alpha X chapters, then Beta X, etc.LazySofa (talk) 00:57, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

I looked at the ΑΦΑ list and it is a different layout that I don't think could be changed as easily. Alpha Phi Omega, not Alpha Phi Alpha... OK. To use the same method, you'd need the following: GLO with chapters assigned in Alpha..Omega,Alpha Alpha..Alpha Omega order, to have it as a standard table (no fratchapter template) and to use the table method where all entries are on the same line separated by double bars and to use the template chapter, you'd need one that doesn't do external links to the chapter from the chapter letters, right? Sorry, ΑΦΩ! I've been looking at ΑΦΑ's page for inspiration for my rewrite of the KKPsi page so it was on my brain. My bad. Technically speaking, the ΑΦΩ list could be changed, but I don't have the technical know-how to pull it off. I'm not a huge fan of the Fratchapter template because it puts notes in the table instead of underneath the table and doesn't sort chapter designations properly. No problem. As long as you realize that ΑΦΩ and ΑΦΑ are different. :) What's wrong with notes in the table, the fratchapter template puts everything in one line (and if you look at the Alpha Phi Omega Chronological one, you'll see that you can end up with a *lot* of references. :) ) I'm thinking I may have to use perl to turn the Alpha Phi Omega ones into the either the double bars within the line or fratchapter version. It is the every 6th row (or whatever) needing to be changed that makes things a little odd to change over to the chapter template. Just that ΚΑΨ seemed to fit enough of the criteria for your notepad++ technique. Alpha is first alphabetically, it is all in one line and the Chapter= seems to help with delimiting.Naraht (talk) 23:16, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Naming convention for the Belgian Government

I was definitely speaking only for Belgium, so I can't say if the same goes for any other country. Also it was not based on a wikipedia policy, moreover if one exists, then I'm not aware of it. Anyway, on any Belgian news website you will probably find as many references to the "goverment Di Rupo I" (which is the official name) as to the "government Di Rupo" (where the I was probably dropped just out of convenience).

The portal website belgium.be presents the official list of members of the current government [2] (Dutch) and calls it the government "Di Rupo I", although again frequently they refer to the "government Di Rupo". Pelotas^{talk|contribs} 16:57, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
