Volner Party
You recently redirected Volner Party to János Volner saying "not a reliable party". What does that mean? Charles Essie (talk) 00:54, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
- @Charles Essie:, uh, sorry, I used wrong word. The Volner Party is not a "notable" party. There are no known party members other than the "party leader", does not have support according to polls and Volner even announced some days ago that the "party" (=he) will not participate in the upcoming 2022 national election. --Norden1990 (talk) 11:43, 3 February 2022 (UTC)

Stalking
Did you seriously started stalking me? I know that you're watching like a hawk the page on Magyarization. But after you reverted my edit on that article, you suddenly reverted my over a week old edit to Euroasian wolf, which you could have noticed only by looking at the list of my contributions. --Azure94 (talk) 17:21, 23 February 2022 (UTC)

Mizse page
Hi! I took an interest in your Mizse edits recently. I've been scratching my head a lot on the etymologies of "Mizse", his brother "Eyza" and "Eyzech". I'm working on a list of medieval names and I would appreciate it very much if you could tell me more about these people.
King regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gibby01 (talk • contribs) 16:14, 26 February 2022 (UTC)
- Dear @Gibby01:, unfortunately I am not aware of the origin of these names. Both Mizse and Eyza (or Heyza) were of Muslim origin. It is plausible that Mizse (Misse) is a Cuman name. Maybe this source will be useful, if you speak Hungarian. --Norden1990 (talk) 08:07, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- Unfortunately it doesn't mention any etymologies of Mizse :( I hope to continue my search, but it has not been fruitful so far. Gibby01 (talk) 03:19, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hey again, I think I have found something. Eyza, Ajza might be related to the Arabic ajzāʼ (part in Quran) considering their Muslim origins. If we look at Eyzech, I believe it is the same name with the diminutive -cs or -ch added to it. However, I have not found any sources to back this up. The "Encyclopaedia of Islam by Sir Hamilton Alexander Rosskeen Gibb" seems to believe similar (not very orthodox/pious Muslim if we consider Arab writings on Islam on the Pontic steppe) nomad Muslims had unusual names. The aforementioned book reconstructs Mogd, name of the palatine of Hungary to Madjūs (pagan? a name used for Zoroastrians and Norse pagans) and Magiug (Arabic Madjūdj, Magog; often identified with Steppe nomads in Middle ages). I would love to hear your opinion on this. Gibby01 (talk) 14:38, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
- I am not an expert of linguistics and philology. I recommend this work to you for analyzing Hungarian medieval given names, a good starting point for subsequent researches: Fehértói Katalin: Árpád-kori személynévtár. Akadémiai Kiadó, 2004. --Norden1990 (talk) 18:36, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for the reply. I have tried to find a copy online and asked friends if they had one but alas. I'll have to try and find a place where I can find a hard copy. I've taken an interest in onomatology and I'm working on a mod for a video game that adds more medieval names, hence the sudden influx of name etymology edits. Legit edit?
Hello. Just wanted to see what you thought about these edits. Regarding the amendment to the first sentence, I viewed the Borhi source, and it does not seem to say anything about up to 300,000 fradulent votes (although I can only see one page of it). Re the addition, the quote is an accurate reflection of the source, the source (book) is highly biased, but the newspapers it is quoting are not. All in all, the edit sort of looks like POV pushing (although the number of fraudulent votes was increased), but I thought it would be best if someone with a better understanding of Hungarian politics reviews it. Cheers, Number 57 12:35, 26 March 2022 (UTC)
Stop reverting the number of registered voters
You as a Hungarian should be able to read and add together the correct number:
https://vtr.valasztas.hu/ogy2022/orszagos-listak
The 7.7 million is only registered voters IN Hungary.

Hungarian political parties
Hi! In my opinion, UK and ÚVNP should be included in the "Not represented" category in the Template:Hungarian political parties. UK had two candidates in the 2022 parliamentary election (Krisztina Hohn and Szilárd Gyenes), and was an associate in the United for Hungary alliance just like MLP, which is included on the list. With ÚVNP, the situation is a little more complicated. If I am not mistaken, their only winning candidate in the 2021 opposition primary was Péter Márki-Zay, who then had to resort to run under the banner of PM, at least officially. Nevertheless, they did take part in the primaries last year, and were also an associate of United for Hungary, so I do not see why they should be left out. What do you think? Zsovar3 (talk) 20:16, 5 April 2022 (UTC)
- I agree. --Norden1990 (talk) 21:46, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

Antal Vetter
Szia, ki akartam a (kis)hegyesi ütközet oldalán Battle of Hegyes a pontatlanságokat javítani, amelyeket előző szerkesztők beírtak. Ezek között ott volt az, hogy a csata magyar vezérei közé beírták Perczel Mórt, aki nem vett részt benne, viszont kihagyták Vetter Antalt, aki, és nem Guyon Richárd, a valódi vezére volt a magyar seregnek ebben az üzközetben. Be akartam írni a csata ismertető táblázatába is a nevét, de a 48-as magyar zászlócska helyett ez jelenik meg "Error in Error in {{Hungarian Revolution of 1848 participant}}
: Bad or missing parameter {{{1}}}: Bad or missing parameter Vetter". Próbáltam beírni a nevét Vetternek a "Template:Hungarian Revolution of 1848 participant"-ba, a szabadságharc infóboxába is, de mindhiába. Ugyanez a szöveg jelenik meg a zászlócska és Vetter helyett. Tudnál ebben segíteni? Köszi.
--Sylvain1975 (talk) 17:55, 20 April 2022 (UTC)
Köszi szépen. A harmadik komáromi csatát befejeztem. Third Battle of Komárom (1849) Azonkívül a tegnap draftban befejeztem a kátyi ütközetet, és beküldtem ellenőrzésre https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Battle_of_K%C3%A1ty#Background.

Hi again, why did you reverse my source on Buzad, Atyusz's father? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gibby01 (talk • contribs) 14:26, 27 April 2022 (UTC)

László Lóránt Keresztes
Hi! While editing today I realized that there are two pages about the same politician: Lóránt Keresztes and László Lóránt Keresztes. I have never requested the deletion of an article before, so I thouht it would be better to ask for your help before I make a mistake. I hope I did not disturb you! – Zsovar3 (talk) 22:19, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Fixed, I redirected the page. I realized this editor (User:Jamiebuba) began to create articles on Hungarian politicians for weeks, but with many factual and translation errors. --Norden1990 (talk) 22:27, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Norden1990,
- Thanks for fixing the redirect. I would please like you to point out the errors which i have made to enable me work on the articles better? Hope to hear from you soon. Jamiebuba (talk) 09:23, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

Hungarian far-right
Please stop reverting by accusing others of POV-pushing when it is your and Kahlores' edits that actually constitute POV-pushing. In fact, the template should be in accordance with what the concerned articles say, but currently Fidesz and Fidesz–KDNP have both right-wing to far-right in the infobox and in the lede summary, on the contrary the current Jobbik has centre-right in the infobox (it was far-right historically but this is no longer the case for some years). The template should reflect the current situation and what the concerned articles say. --Martopa (talk) 17:31, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
Lázár Mészáros
Szia, ugyanaz a gondom itt is, mint Vetter Antal esetén: Be akartam írni a Battle of Tura ismertető táblázatába Mészáros Lázár nevét, de a 48-as magyar zászlócska helyett ez jelenik meg "Error in Error in {{Hungarian Revolution of 1848 participant}}
: Bad or missing parameter {{{1}}}: Bad or missing parameter Mészáros". Próbáltam beírni a nevét Mészárosnak a "Template:Hungarian Revolution of 1848 participant"-ba, a szabadságharc infóboxába is, de mindhiába. Ugyanez a szöveg jelenik meg. Tudnál ebben segíteni? Köszi.
--Sylvain1975 (talk) 16:20, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Sylvain1975:, manuálisan beillesztettem az infoboxba, a sablont valamiért én sem tudom szerkeszteni új nevek hozzáadásával. Vetter nevét visszatettem a Battle of Tura cikkbe, az valamiért eltűnt egy szerkesztési hiba következtében. --Norden1990 (talk) 21:12, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
- Köszi szépen. Én ehhez nem értek.

Battle of W.l.n.d.r
--Norden1990 (talk) 21:14, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

Isaszeg Battlefield map
--Norden1990 (talk) 16:46, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

Táblázat
Szia! A komáromi ütközet harcrendjét táblázatba foglaltam, de az osztrák erőket tartalmazó táblázatban képtelen voltam három vonalat eltüntetni. A "Pott independent brigade Major General Gustav Pott" alatti három cellát képtelen vagyok eltüntetni. Mind a "Civalart uhlans", mind a "11. six-pounder battery", mind az alatta levő "Total" a Pott dandárhoz tartozik, azonban sehogyan sem tudom az alatta levő három üres cellát eltüntetni. Úgy kellene kinéznie, mint a felette levő "Liebler brigade Major General Karl Liebler" esetében. Ha tudnál segíteni, nagyon megköszönném. :) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth_Battle_of_Kom%C3%A1rom_(1849)#Opposing_forces Sylvain1975 (talk) 18:37, 16 October 2022 (UTC)

Correction of List of Hungarian monarchs
Thank you so much. You were an editor who joined my view, that there were only two queens regnant in Hungary, Mary and Maria Theresa. I am glad that you are attentive and protecting the original versions which are well-sourced and undoubtable. Of course there can be found multiple female claimants, but they were surely not MONARCHS, except of these two women. Super20020917 (talk) 21:42, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
