Non-free uploads

Alexey88, my belief is that they are not going to be permitted under Wikipedia's non-free content policy, because they are entirely replaceable. If you wish to contest my point, the correct procedure is laid out on all the file pages that I've tagged. Relentlessly (talk) 13:53, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Non-free media can only be used if it is not replaceable with free media. See the non-free content policy. A2soup (talk) 14:36, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Alexey88, see, for instance File:Route_of_the_2014_Tour_de_France.png, which is a route map created by a Wikipedia user, not by the organising company, so it is freely licensed. A similar image could be created for any of the route maps you have provided, which means that the images are at least theoretically replaceable, so they contravene the non-free content policy. Alexey88, they are good additions to the articles, but Wikipedia does not allow non-free content without adequate justification. You haven't provided that, and my opinion is that you cannot. Cycling

Merci Relentlessly. Je vais écrire en français parce que même si je comprends assez bien l'anglais, j'ai un peu de mal à l'écrire.

Je travaille cette année à illustrer le cyclisme en Nord-Pas-de-Calais (nord de la France) et en Belgique grâce à Wikimédia France. Les courses que je prévois d'illustrer sont listées dans la section Cyclisme 2015 de la page fr:Utilisateur:Jérémy-Günther-Heinz Jähnick. Les fichiers sont téléversées sur Wikimedia Commons (en général dès le lendemain) dont voici mes imports. Je suis basé sur la version francophone de Wikipédia, mais j'essaye a minima d'en faire profiter les autres versions linguistiques, ce qui n'est pas toujours simple, ne maîtrisant pas beaucoup de langues, c'est pourquoi je fonctionne essentiellement par copiés-collés. J'ai bien vu qu'une des photos, ainsi qu'une carte, étaient utilisées pour l'article Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen. J'ai regardé quelques une des vos contributions, et vous faites un gros travail d'écriture. Nous sur la Wikipédia francophone, nous manquons de contributeurs capable d'article d'aussi beaux articles détaillés, mais nous traitons beaucoup plus de courses. Vos modèles pour les classements sont intéressants, de même que Template:Ct.

Those crashes in Croatia looked like bad news – I turned over for the finish for a brief break from the boringness that is the first 204.2 kilometres of Fleche Wallonne... I reckon your best chance on Bole's article is La Gazzetta dello Sport, but I'm by no means sure they'll cover it. My Italian's decent enough to read it; my Croatian, not so much! Well, I checked it out and there isn't many options :(. I'm a nullity when it comes to uploading picture here, I know you can use those on Flickr that are Creative Commons but they are few. Speaking of pics, I made a huge edit (for me) on Alberto Contador, then tried to find a pic on Commons. Look at this poor crap... I definitely have to read more about how to upload legal pics.
