Thanks for uploading File:Crystal 103.7.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

"Sony" is not a label, it is the parent music company of the labels. Sony Music Distribution is not a label either. Sony Discos (now Sony Latin) and Epic are labels. Thedeadpet (talk) 19:46, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Here (source: press archive from Argentinian media outlet TN), here and here you can see the original cassettes released for the first time in Colombia and Latin America with the Columbia Records imprint on them. The first two images are from the first release in Colombia, the third one is from Chile.
First of all, like Discogs, captured photos may be user submitted, should not be used for reference. Rolling Stone is an American magazine, while Shakira was signed to Sony Colombia in 90s. 2402:1980:320:A03B:0:0:0:1 (talk) 05:30, 18 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, TBhotch! I have made a page on my sandbox which is about my friend whom is a author and I would love if you could help it become an offical page? It is everything it needs to be published but I have no rights so if you would be so kind and wonderful if you could help! Cheers!
What isn't clear? The template documentation says, in bold in a box, "Please do not use this template solely to create talk pages that otherwise have no content". PamD17:58, 16 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
I considered going to ANI after that inappropriate response, but will assume that you're just having a bad day. Please remember to be civil to other editors. PamD07:54, 17 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Reminder to remember to manually finish cleaning up after page swaps. I was hoping you might consider running for admin, so you could do such moves the right way, but then I saw the discussion above. Sigh. wbm1058 (talk) 02:50, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

I was working on an article on this but saw your draft (mostly an infobox and lead sentence) and added my content into yours instead. Take a look and let me know if it's ready; it's an obvious DYK candidate. Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 17:53, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Sammi Brie: Thank you for the swift expansion. I was about to work on Quintonil's first for another DYK. I think it is ready, if I find additional information, I'll add it as well. (CC)Tbhotch™18:11, 18 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear Tbhotch,
Thanks a lot for helping me with my article. I am new doing this and I highly appreciate suggestions from people more experienced. I added the citation you suggested. Also, I changed Vs. to vs, as this is the way suggested in the Australian Government Style Manual. As I am always keen to learn, do you have any other suggestion about that?
I worked in the suggestions made about the promotional tone and checked other adjectives too. Also, I saw the 200-metre (600 ft)-long shed. As it is Australian format, I left in in metres. With the figure between brackets looks a bit funny, any suggestions on how to improve it? Lautreca11 (talk) 03:32, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Lautreca11: I added the template because some countries use imperial units and they require additional context. The calculation is performed automatically by the system. You can find the template configuration at Template:Convert; alternatively, you can rewrite the sentence. (CC)Tbhotch™03:49, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Good luck at FLC! I am glad to see a new standard being set for Michelin lists and hope to see many similar lists promoted to FL status in the future. Happy editing! ---Another Believer(Talk)20:58, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

On 5 June 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Antimonumento 5J, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Antimonumento 5J(pictured) was installed on 5 June 2023 to commemorate victims of police repression during the 2020 protests in response to the death of Giovanni López? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Antimonumento 5J. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Antimonumento 5J), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi @Tbhotch: Theknine2 suggest that not to use "Label" and "Region" columns via updated table. Your comments would be appreciated. However there's two other users opposed over updated table, so I suggested that change "Label" to "Distributor" column via original table. We got rid of the studio album chronology? That was actually useful, what? I wish I'd have known where the discussion was on the topic, I object. mftp danoops12:40, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am especially shocked to see this occurred nearly four years ago. I've been unaware of it because my content area has been largely unaffected (or I perceive it that way because I didn't notice it before). I thought album chronology was helpful because it overcame chronology roadblocks by non-notable releases (which usually aren't studio albums, while I'm looking to get to the next album). I will not be implementing changes to these myself, but neither will I resist, as we seem to have a consensus that's set in motion too far gone for me to protest. mftp danoops20:33, 23 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for closing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Steven van de Velde. I'm just here to leave a pedantic note about the close. You described the result of the discussion as a "speedy keep" while referring to WP:SNOW. Technically (and this is truly a super technical nitpick), a "snow keep" is not the same thing as a "speedy keep". The term "speedy keep" only applies in the specific circumstances listed in this guideline: Wikipedia:Speedy keep. WP:SNOW is intentionally not part of the speedy keep criteria; see WP:SK#NOT. In the future, it would be more technically correct to close with the result "snow keep" instead of "speedy keep" (what I like to do is close with a simple "keep" and then explain in the first sentence of the rationale that it is being done early per WP:SNOW). Hello again. Please note that I moved the Main Page date back to October 25, after another editor asked for a different list to run on the 30th. The October 25 blurb can be found here. Giants2008 (Talk) 00:32, 24 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello,
The Wikimedia Foundation is conducting a survey of Wikipedians to better understand what draws administrators to contribute to Wikipedia, and what affects administrator retention. We will use this research to improve experiences for Wikipedians, and address common problems and needs. We have identified you as a good candidate for this research, and would greatly appreciate your participation in this anonymous survey.
You do not have to be an Administrator to participate.
The survey should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. You may read more about the study on its Meta page and view its privacy statement .
Please find our contact on the project Meta page if you have any questions or concerns.
