editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
edit Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Portuguese legislative election, 2015 into Portuguese legislative election, 1985. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:31, 2 September 2017 (UTC)

Ways to improve Portuguese local elections, 1997
editHi, I'm Boleyn. Tuesp1985, thanks for creating Portuguese local elections, 1997!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This appears to have no references - those given as references are just footnotes. It also has external links, which usually just means friendly suggestions for further reading, but perhaps here you meant they are your sources? PLease make your sources clear in the article, and it's much better for readers and other editors if they are WP:INLINECITED.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Aximage poll for Açoriano Oriental
editHello, since you seem to be the most active editor on portuguese politics, I would like your help to find the missing info on the azorean regional election poll printed today in the "Açoriano Oriental" newspaper. Couldn't find it on ERC and the paywall is really strong. All the data that I put on the respective article was in the front cover. Also should CDU be added back on the polling table? There is a remote chance that they might return to the regional parliament.

However, added the projected results without undecideds and added a note saying that the date of the poll is the publishing date. Let's wait for more info from the poll to be published.Tuesp1985 (talk) 13:02, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- This is the best that I could find, supposedly 73% of those interviewed said that they intended to vote. That’s a really large turnout if this poll is to be believed, way ahead of the actual turnout in the last regional election.

- Already added link with work field of the survey and number of voters interviewed.Tuesp1985 (talk) 15:58, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Great! Should have figured that one of the main newspapers would publish the full data of this poll. With early voting already underway, I guess we will only be getting exit polls after this one. 2001:8A0:6A16:8301:3187:31F1:C6C3:D7C7 (talk) 16:08, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- RTP could also release a poll later this week. They did one 4 years ago, by CESOP.Tuesp1985 (talk) 16:12, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- Yup, you were right about that. Already added the CESOP poll. 2001:8A0:6A16:8301:3187:31F1:C6C3:D7C7 (talk) 20:42, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

Paraná Pesquisas
editHello, a new poll was released on Folha Nacional, CHEGA's newspaper, from a brazilian company, Paraná Pesquisas. Because that company is not registered in ERC those results will not be published in any other newspaper. Here is the link to that poll:
https://www.paranapesquisas.com.br/pesquisas/parana-pesquisas-digulga-pesquisa-nacional-em-portugal-sobre-as-eleicoes-legislativas-em-2024/ 2001:8A0:6A16:8301:3187:31F1:C6C3:D7C7 (talk) 16:30, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there. Right, despite the poll being published in CHEGA's political newspaper, it seems like a legit poll, but I'm not sure if the poll should be added in the opinion poll table. I'm going to open a topic on the talk page and we can discuss if we should add this poll or not. Feel free give your opinion there. Tuesp1985 (talk) 00:21, 23 February 2024 (UTC)

Bar charts
editHello. I saw you readded bar charts to various Portuguese election articles. I really struggle to see what use these are to readers – particularly ones for seat distributions where you already have a hemisphere diagram just above it that shows pretty much the same thing. Their inclusion has been discussed at WT:E&R a few times, and although the discussions have not had a lot of participants, most editors have been in favour of removing them. See previous discussions here or here. Number 57 14:44, 16 March 2024 (UTC)
- Hi there. I put them back up because I thought it was an error when updating the results tables. For Presidential elections, I understand they could be just "noise" in the page, but at the same time I think they could be another interesting way to look at the results. If it's your call, feel free to remove them from the Presidential election pages. However, I think they should remain in the Parliamentary election pages. I await a reply.Tuesp1985 (talk) 00:14, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delayed response. Re the presidential elections, I will remove them (thanks for your flexibility). However, for the parliamentary elections, I think they are even less worthwhile, as you have the parliamentary diagram which already shows the seat division in a graphical format? Cheers, Number 57 13:47, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- No problem. Regarding parliamentary elections, I disagree because graphs are, or can be, an interesting way to look at the results, especially in close elections.Tuesp1985 (talk) 00:58, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

The article 2024 Portuguese Social Democratic Party leadership election has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
I might be wrong, but with their leader becoming the new PM I see no possibility that PSD will hold a leadership election in near future.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. An Macanese 14:26, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- The leadership election will happen anyway but with Montenegro as the sole candidate. The same scenario happened in the 2012 and 2014 leadership elections when Passos Coelho was Prime Minister. PSD leaders have a 2-year term that, by party rules, needs to be renovated with a leadership election.Tuesp1985 (talk) 00:34, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Currently, this article has almost no concrete fact and does not explain why the election would be triggered. Reference referring to the PSD rules ought be added, or the article contradicts WP:CRYSTALBALL.—An Macanese 14:20, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- The election will be triggered because it's party rules, we just don't know the date but it will happen during 2024. The page has information prior to the March election, when Montenegro was seen as in danger of losing his current job. I will update it with more recent data. Tuesp1985 (talk) 15:31, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Ps. I find the data of the 2024 Portuguese legislative election maybe disputable thus I've written on the talk page about how should we deal with those invalid ballots. If you have any opinion on that, please do not hesitate to raise it. Ty

- Hi there. I created the page but the submission was declined twice, so I let the page as it was. The 2026 election is in less than 2 years, so, if that's possible, a new one could be created near election period. Thank you.Tuesp1985 (talk) 22:50, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
