Thank you for changing the part about dictator. I saw it and I thought it was very juvenile so I added President. I didn't want to take out what someone else put but you had the guts to do it. SteveRambo (talk) 22:51, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey, you may want to redact that last comment a bit. I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about :) decltype (talk) 02:38, 10 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nope, people who know me would know what I'm talking about since I have been fighting ageism on wikipedia for a very long..relax, i'm unlikely to get banned :)...--Warpath (talk) 02:42, 10 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

(ec):On second thoughts, forget my comment. If that's what you want to say, and how you want to say it, then that's your prerogative :). decltype (talk) 02:44, 10 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Pathetic and shameful. Lucky for you WP doesn't do punitive blocks. لennavecia 04:22, 10 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well Lara, I have known you for a very long, actually since you joined WP and I know that you are an ageist yourself and I can see that you have opposed, sad that you gave such a stupid reason for your oppose instead of coming out clean and saying that you oppose her because of her age, you are the pathetic one, i have learnt a lot on wikipedia and the biggest thing i have learnt is that you can never trust your friends as well as you enemies, when time comes they both will stab you, and I did say that Jamie was hardworking and trustworthy, something I can never say about the current batch of enwiki admins as this is why i supported her and no one else, probably new blood is needed because it seems the old batch needs to wake up and take control of their responsibility since they no longer stand for the aims and objectives they had when they ran for their RfA ... --Warpath (talk) 04:58, 10 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Jennavecia an "ageist"? Don't think so, she has been supportive of several WP editors who self-identified as minors. (Never mind that "ageist" in the sense you use it is an extension of the word that I do not support.)--Goodmorningworld (talk) 08:03, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Young jedi wikipedian, you haven't been around long enough, yes I know she has supported a few "minors" but it all had UM, i won't emphasize on it cause this discussion isn't about her, its about my comment which i will stand by, banning me will just show how weak the wiki has become and how self-absorbed the admins have become in their greed and hunger for power..--Warpath (talk) 22:35, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Who's suggested that you should be banned? Obviously you're a dick, but if being a dick was all it took to get banned I'd have been bounced out of here long ago. --Malleus Fatuorum 23:26, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
says the person who opposed citing that the person is still in high school, grow up and move out of your mothers basement, Jamie is probably more mature than you will ever be, people who were bullied as a child usually have hatred towards the younger generations..were you?. I have seen 12 years olds, (for e.g User:Anonymous Dissident) make better admins than a 25 year old ever will, its not the age that matters, its how much they have done for the wiki and how much they believe in and follow the policies of WikiMedia and how much trust do their peers have on them and how much respect they have in others, in your case none, so from a dick who had to leave this beautiful foundations just because of dicks like you, take it as an advice, don't judge a book by its cover, you will regret it....--Warpath (talk) 02:24, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
You are just about as wrong as it is possible for one person to be without prosthetic assistance. I hope you continue to enjoy your life in whichever universe it is you come from, and thanks for dropping by. --Malleus Fatuorum 12:47, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Warpath, it's really funny coming from you, a prime example of immaturity, which is why you got tossed out of the BRC chan. I don't oppose based entirely on age. To think otherwise shows your ignorance. My oppose listed all my reasons and attributed weight to the most troubling for me. If you don't believe what I wrote, I really couldn't give a shit. But you're one of the children on the project that cares more about seeing your young little friends with adminship than you do about what's best for the project. You don't edit en.wiki, and you haven't for years, you just troll it, crying about ageism and defending your little child admin friends when they behave badly while decrying the same sort of behavior from other, older editors.

I've supported plenty of young admin candidates who showed exceptional maturity. And, actually, I don't think FT would be a poor admin, but I have serious concerns about how she will handle some of the vulgar vandalism, the inevitable harassment, and the potential for her own BLP on a particularly nasty mediawiki site. Everyone handles stress differently. You for example, lose any sense of maturity as soon as an ageism issue comes up, which does nothing but defeat your purpose, as you're a shining example of the exact thing you fail to defend. لennavecia 15:54, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh yeah, the BRC, where a group of people dress up in bathrobes and walk around and take pictures of themselves, very mature..indeed....Ageism is same as racism if not worse and coming from you, a "white power" supporter, i do have my doubts. I always support younger kid as admin because I believe they will do a better job that older stuckups like you who become so self obsessed with more power that you think you rule the wiki and your other ageist friend Malleus whose hatred for kids may mean one of the 2 things and one of those I have mentioned above. If you think I'm immature for speaking my mind, then thats your opinion. I'm just one of the few people who tried (and failed) to get rid of ageists from this project because I believe that ageism is ONE of the reason why this wiki has never moved forward because of people like you that think just because someone is not in their teens yet or are in their early teens, they are stupid. That type of thinking is the exact reason why i feel this wiki needs a cleansing to get rid of people like you and your friend. The english wiki and the russian wiki, to my knowledge are the only 2 wikis on wikimedia where i have seen ageism happen, which means the other 700+ wikis are free from people like you, as I mentioned in my previous post, that you have supported "kids" before but you had UM, which is short for Ulterior motives, and they were to get ahead and going up the ladder of success cause you need to kiss a few cheeks to go up the ladder of success.I have been called immature many times and its just because I have a different method of negotiation. If you want something done, you need to be clear harsh and straight to the point. i never stopped editing enwiki, I just stopped getting into all the "drama" and I stopped creating articles because I felt the community no longer understood the principles of wikipedia and it became more of a dick measuring competition which malleus excels at it seems --Warpath (talk) 22:02, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Listen kid, when your balls have dropped perhaps we can talk about this again. In the meantime I suggest that you think very carefully before making comments such as thing one in the future: "...your other ageist friend Malleus whose hatred for kids may mean one of the 2 things and one of those I have mentioned above." I do not hate kids, I was one myself once; have you been an adult? --Malleus Fatuorum 22:04, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Listen grandpa, stop watching your porn collection, your Dick will need some help and I'm 23, my balls dropped when you were out doing grandma...If you don't hate kids then why do you think they are too dumb to be an admin..insecurity issues eh?--Warpath (talk) 22:11, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm warning you to stop this right now. --Malleus Fatuorum 22:17, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh so you think its fine to call people idiots or talk bad about their body but if that same person returns the favour, you feel hurt?.. get over yourself, I didn't do anything, you guys started it with your age based opposes. i have some sound advice for you..if you don't have a valid reason to oppose somebody, don't bother voting..over and out...--Warpath (talk) 22:23, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, I did warn you. You make yourself look more and more stupid with each comment; I'm only amazed that's even possible. --Malleus Fatuorum 22:26, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Not as fast as your IQ falling every time you make a comment here..oops its now below 50 so I'll speak slowly, M a l l e u s, G o A w a y ...i hope that was clear :) ...--Warpath (talk) 22:35, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oh yea, show your ignorance and pull the "white power" card. My bathrobe may be white and hooded, but no white power supporter am I. But you already know that. 23 you claim to be, but you act half your age. I was not an ageist during my RFA, when my RFA was looking as if it may tank over it. No, just a bunch of insecure kids, lacking maturity, freaking out and opposing because they were too young to comprehend the situation. Gee golly, look how that works out. So, yea, go ahead and think that because I oppose some children at RFA that I am a complete ageist and any I should happen to support, well, that's 'cause I need them to help me go up the ladder. The ladder to what, though? I have no desire to move up the ladder any further than admin, so I guess that theory was just blown to hell after all. Perhaps, Warpath, it's that I don't oppose children in general. Instead, I oppose those that act like children, including adults such as yourself, because of bullshit like this. You are counter-productive to your cause. Keep that in mind. You may find yourself making ageists where there were none. لennavecia 03:47, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Alas, you never truly knew me..In all the years you know me, you would have figured out that i act the age of the person I'm talking to just so they understand me the way i want them to and not write some big words and have them reply "Lol, what?" ..If you are a 40 year old trying to talk to a 12 year old like a 40 year old, they will never understand and think you are some crazy old fool and thats what i do. Instead of thinking, "hey he is just a kid, he can never be an admin", wouldn't it be easier to say, "hey, so what if he is still in high school, he seems to be doing a very good job on the wiki and he deserves to be an admin?". Well i would look up all the votes you made but the toolserver is down. I'm not counter-productive, I tried to make a difference but failed miserably. There are many others who believe what i said is true but they will not speak in its favor because they want to remain on the wiki and/or become an admin in a foreseeable future and they do not want to wreck their chances by supporting a losing battle. I no longer have any ambitions on this wiki or wikimedia as a whole. I left everything when i realised that what i said on IRC once was true and that was the community on enwiki has failed to make the right decisions and those that tried to make a difference were shunned or tagged as "immature" such as Scarian. What i don't understand is why its mature, to call a kid immature but immature to call an adult immature..somethings I'll never understand.....--Warpath (talk) 04:12, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't believe it's immature to call an adult immature. Calling a spade a spade, regardless of what "spade" represents, is not immature. The problem is, you don't talk to adults like adults. Neither did Scarian. The fact that you defend what he said is ridiculous. But then, considering what you're willing to sling yourself to attempt to win an argument, it's not at all surprising. لennavecia 05:37, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Good to know people I helped out and canvassed for on their RfA feels this way about me..thanks for showing me the path...--Warpath (talk) 04:59, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
When you accuse someone of something as serious a being racist without proof, it's hard to over look. Kwsn (Ni!) 06:11, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Jeez, i was comparing and saying ageism to some extent is the same as racism. I never called her a racist, why would I ?..--Warpath (talk) 07:43, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Are you aware of what "white power" is and what it means to support it? That, Warpath, most certainly is calling me a racist. And considering you were present during all that bs a year ago, you very much know where I stand and that I in no way support white power or any other racist movement. You perpetuated a misconception that you know to be false. Pretty low, but whatev. We also know that nothing ever happens to anyone who pulls the racist card on another editor. I'm used to it by now. لennavecia 13:16, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Eat, Pray, Love ;)

Hi, I just noticed this. Ya, I'm back — have been since last year, and I never really left.

We've not really ever met. I've seen you on a few Wikipedia namespace pages and recall seeming to spook you once on IRC. You've never quite been on my radar. For example, I didn't know that you're from a nearby island, which it seems you've been open about all along (a lot nearer than many others;).

I also glossed over the above chat and expect the ageism issue looms large in your view of things-wiki. fwiw, I'm pleased when an editor who is young shows clue and will support them in a variety of ways. I am also critical of immature behaviour, which young editors are certainly capable of; on the other hand, there are plenty of older editors who exhibit immaturity, too, and I'll not give them a pass on it, either. All-in-all, I do not believe that the actual age of another user has much impact on my interactions with them.

Dan Carter Picture

edit

Although I am all for the Dan Carter page having a picture, with all due respect I don't think your picture adds much. It is a fuzzy close up which I don't think identifies the person any easier than a simple google search, I think the picture should be removed so we can focus on the more important issue of the constant vandalism to his article, Tshiels1 (talk) 06:29, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

"look up rugby league in commons, they have over 600 pics available on different players but in union, barely 60 and yes I would prefer a nice pic of Carter but it seems non which doesn't violate the image policy exists yet so till then, that pic stays. When someone can get a free and higher resolution pic which doesn't violate any copyright laws, I'll happily replace it...but till they do, leave that pic..that might force people to upload their own pics taken with carter and thus better for the wiki....--Warpath (talk) 07:08, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I accept where you are coming from and that there are few Rugby Union photos, but I still don't think the photo adds anything. I think no photo will prompt more people to try and find one.Tshiels1 (talk) 06:26, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hey, is it really necessary to use a edit summary like "Pliz don't do this if you can't do it correctly and completely."

At the time of the edit. I never had the information for the officials. If I did, I would have added it.

Next time, Relax and don't complain about it, just edit it. We are all here to add to Wikipedia. (Jonathanburger (talk) 11:22, 10 September 2009 (UTC))Reply
