Question about BG&E
Back in 2010, you've added a paragraph to the Beyond Good & Evil regarding how the game changed during production, stating that the finished product is more of a reworking than a sequel. The source given for this paragraph, an online article by Edge, does not include this information. The best I have been able to do is track down this page and assume the relevant info is in the white side blurb of the printed version that seems to be missing from the online version of the article. Would this be correct, and if so, would you be able to scan/transcribe it? DreamingLady (talk) 10:51, 12 September 2016 (UTC)

I quit.
I will no longer create any more articles. Furthermore, I will blank and elect for speedy deletion every article page in which I'm the only sole contributor. After this, I wish my name be removed from the page, "Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents". Thanks. Videogameplayer99 (talk) 21:00, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Videogameplayer99:Please don't take it as a personal attack, it was just becoming problematic. There were plenty of warnings about the notability guidelines of Wikipedia so if you can't understand them, or the process of making draft articles, then it's probably best to avoid creating new pages. You can still contribute to Wikipedia by editing and improving existing articles, so you don't have to quit Wikipedia solely because of that. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:57, 14 September 2017 (UTC)
While I don't see it as a personal attack, do you know if it's in Wikipedia's policy that my name remain on the Admin's incident noticeboard for bookkeeping? (If so, I'll remove my question on the incident noticeboard) Videogameplayer99 (talk) 01:57, 17 September 2017 (UTC)

Hi Zxcvbnm,
Thanks for reviewing the AFC of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Looking_for_the_Truth.
It has been revised and re-submitted with the aim of having it as a stand-alone article related specifically to the machinima production, rather than as a sub-section of the film-maker's biographical entry.
It's in the queue; hopefully it'll stand up second time around.
194.80.204.233 (talk) 15:20, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- It's been declined again, mainly on the same grounds as the first time. There just isn't enough information to merit having an article specifically about the film. Add more to the Duggan article, and if it becomes bloated then we can re-evaluate its status as a standalone page. Primefac (talk) 16:17, 9 November 2017 (UTC) (talk page stalker)
AFC does not reject articles because they are missing sections (review the steps at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Reviewing instructions). You should probably switch your rejection to an acceptance, if you believe the game is notable. --Izno (talk) 13:49, 11 November 2017 (UTC)

Sai mahesh44 (talk) 05:07, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- @Sai mahesh44:After looking up any references, I'd say that it's just not suitable for a Wikipedia article as it's not notable enough. To be included it would need several reviews or similarly lengthy in depth coverage from reliable sources. That means there is nothing I can do, even if you made the article it would probably get deleted.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 05:58, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
FYI -- I deleted Draft:Differences in video game consoles, however under a different rationale than the one you supplied. I deleted it because the content was copied and pasted from the previous mainspace article -- losing all the contributors in the process. If someone wants to keep a draft version of the article and perhaps work it into a format that would be agreeable to the community to have in the mainspace, there's no problem with that. 00:50:41, 3 December 2017 review of submission by Byron Laursen
Hello, and thank you for reviewing my article. I hope you can help me understand something. I'm a bit on the ADD spectrum, and it's hard for me to learn from FAQ lists and from reading style sheets. Your notes said "Article is written in plaintext, not proper Wikipedia format." Does this mean that I simply need to re-type it within Wikipedia, as opposed to writing in a Word file, copying, and dropping it in? Or is there a different explanation?
With thanks, Byron LaursenByron Laursen (talk) 00:50, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Byron Laursen, apologies. This was not a valid decline reason, so I have undone it and resubmitted your draft. However, formatting is important in Wikipedia articles. You don't need to re-type everything, but it might be worth looking through the CHEATSHEET to see some of the most-used code. Primefac (talk) 01:06, 3 December 2017 (UTC) (talk page stalker)

Hi - no problem with a difference of view on the above, and very happy to defer to your greater knowledge of gaming. But I don't think a revert was the way to go; just get the nominator to resubmit, and then Accept. KJP1 (talk) 14:29, 29 January 2018 (UTC)

- You seem to think your view is absolute. An interesting take on how we work here. KJP1 (talk) 23:09, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- @KJP1:I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to say then. "I fixed an error, but maybe I was wrong?" No... it was an error in rejecting the article, which clearly did not read like an advertisement, and furthermore had a number of reliable sources. I would hesitate to call it a "difference of opinion".ZXCVBNM (TALK) 23:29, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
- Reviewers are allowed to have differences of opinion. However, I would suggest going forward that if you disagree with a decline reason, you simply "mark as under review" before accepting (instead of undoing the decline itself). Declines should really only be undone if they are procedurally incorrect or go against policy (e.g. declining for MOS-related reasons). The other option is to discuss it with either the declining reviewer or at WP:AFCR.
- For what it's worth, I can see why the "advert" decline was made, but I don't find anything wrong with the accept either, so if KJP1 (or anyone else) disagrees with the acceptance they are more than welcome to nominate it for deletion. Request on 21:39:56, 8 February 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Bennyschmidt
- Bennyschmidt (talk · contribs)
Hello, you declined Draft:Thorns_&_Spells for the following reason: "Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject". Currently 4 of the 7 references are published, secondary, reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Can you please tell me how many more secondary sources an article needs before the subject can be considered to have sufficient coverage? Thank you.
Bennyschmidt (talk) 21:39, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Bennyschmidt: The sources cannot simply be game listings but they must be original content talking about the game. Otherwise it does not meet the "significant" criterion of "significant coverage". A game review or article that describes the game in depth is an example of significant coverage.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 21:52, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Zxcvbnm: Thank you for the quick response. The references are not all game listings. Regardless - why do you consider video game websites unreliable or not original? Listing databases like MMORPG.com, MMOGames.com, etc. have been a primary way gamers discover new games worldwide for many years - especially retro-style games. Many of the players of Thorns & Spells are in Brazil and Poland and do not always discover games on mainstream American news sites or App Stores. In addition to game listings, there is a news article on a Polish website which is original content, that is cited. The article written by the lovely staff at MMOGames.com is also original content, it was written by Amanda Brink, Portal Manager at MMOGames.com. Please reconsider the submission - or if you still feel strongly about declining it, please provide a short list of acceptable media outlets which would be considered original and reliable, or perhaps a minimum number of articles that need to be published before coverage can be considered significant.
- @Bennyschmidt:I don't think the issue is whether or not the sources are reliable, but whether the mentions are significant. You seem to think that significance refers to total coverage, but it actually refers to the quality of the individual coverage. The article you mentioned is not significant coverage because it reads like WP:PROMO, just listing off features of the game without analysis into them. A video game review, or article analyzing the game or its development in depth (that is not an interview) is a significant secondary source.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:32, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- Also, according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Sources, MMORPG.com is actually not considered a reliable source.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:34, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

- @Zxcvbnm: Hello, I am very surprised Wikipedia is considering MMORPG.com to be an unreliable source. It was one of the first websites of its kind and is one of the most popular MMORPG websites today. Your profile lists you as an expert gamer. If you are, I'm sure you're personally familiar with this website. If you have some bias against the MMORPG genre, or against retro-style games, then you may have a conflict of interest in reviewing this article. Otherwise, please notice that the mmorpg.org.pl article in the citations does provide an in-depth analysis of the game and its development, and the developer behind it. If you cannot read Polish, you can use Google's Translate Page feature to see the content yourself. Just above, you said, "A game review or article that describes the game in depth is an example of significant coverage". The MMORPG.org.pl and the MMOGames.com articles both meet this criteria.
- @Bennyschmidt:Sorry but that other source is nowhere near significant either. It is less than a paragraph long, that wouldn't be significant no matter what language it was written in, so I am not sure where you are getting "in-depth" from. Basically, right now your article is an unequivocal fail of the WP:GNG. If you think I am biased or wrong, then feel free to get a second opinion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation/Help desk. I feel confident in my assessment so I won't answer further arguments.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 23:31, 8 February 2018 (UTC)

Just above, you said, "A game review or article that describes the game in depth is an example of significant coverage". The MMORPG.org.pl and the MMOGames.com articles both meet this criteria.
- @Zxcvbnm: Hello again, there is no need for rude remarks. Please refer to Wikipedia:Etiquette for more information on how you might assume good faith in the future, instead of personally attacking contributors which gets you nowhere. You have offered yet another claim with no support: "It is less than a paragraph long, that wouldn't be significant no matter what language it was written in". It does not logically follow that only long reviews are significant, and of course a review in English might be a different length in say, Chinese, Hebrew, Polish, or Turkish based on number of characters alone. In your comment, you judge the authenticity of an article by the fact that it is written in another language and is not more than one paragraph. That is unresearched, narrow-minded, and you have failed to thoroughly review a citation. There are a lot of Polish gamers, and it is unfair to dismiss citations from Polish websites because you have some bias against their language. You should instead provide some logical support for your claims of inauthenticity instead of an emotional outburst which includes a bias against foreign language websites. Your additional attack, "Basically, right now your article is an unequivocal fail" offers no additional insight or evidence to support it either - it was only an additional emotional outburst. You've yet to offer any evidence that these published articles are not reliable or original despite being published on websites that attract millions of visitors, and you have expressed an obvious bias through snide remarks. Thank you for your time, we will go another route and be sure to share how snide and illogical you've been throughout this process, Zxcvbnm. Take care.
- @Bennyschmidt:Sigh... do you really think people will think a Wikipedian with tens of thousands of constructive edits is emotionally unstable compared to a single-purpose account? I don't think anyone who reads this would come to that conclusion. All I did was respond in kind to your unfounded attacks. Again, seek out a second opinion if you think I'm wrong, but lashing out just makes it seem more like you are interested in advertising than improving Wikipedia.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 07:38, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Zxcvbnm: That statement is logically fallacious (an appeal to authority). It doesn't matter how many edits you've made in the past, there is proof of your dismissal of valid references and snide remarks in your comments on this page. It appears you have made more than a few enemies on Wikipedia, and seem to enjoy it. Perhaps that will be taken into consideration. Until then, please refer to Wikipedia:Etiquette for more information on how you might assume good faith in the future, instead of attacking contributors and stating baseless opinions as facts. Why Wikipedia would entrust a logically deficient and unhappy person to the important task of moderating articles for creation is a topic of another discussion, but perhaps they are unaware of how poorly you're doing your job.

Request on 11:32:54, 12 February 2018 for assistance on AfC submission by Tess Huang
- Tess Huang (talk · contribs)
Hello Zxcvbnm, I'm the writer of 'Draft:OPUS: Rocket of Whispers'. I am writing to you because my article submission was declined by you with the reason of 'not enough mentions in reliable sources'; however, I can't figure out what went wrong (I've cited several news and website), could you tell me more about it (maybe the paragraphs or sentences that need more sources)?
Thank you very much.
Tess Huang (talk) 11:32, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Tess Huang: As I said in the assessment, generally small promotional mentions are not enough to prove the game is notable. The game needs several reviews from major gaming websites (not small/unknown blogs, etc.) Although they are not mentioned in your previous game's article, it did get those reviews and therefore passes WP:GNG. However this game did not. "X game is headed to X console!" articles are usually not enough to prove notability.
- At this point I am unsure if it will ever be notable enough for its own article, but I suppose it might get reviews for the Switch version and become notable. So I suggest saving the content of the article and waiting until then. That said, you can still mention the game as a sequel in the original game's article and have a section for it there, regardless.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 11:39, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
The article Tower of Latria has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
excessive detail. NOT GAMEGUIDE
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. DGG ( talk ) 01:55, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Question on child teenage cats
I noticed you were making some category changes swaps vis a vis Category:Child characters in video games and Category:Teenage characters in video games. I'm not a big category person, and am only really qualified to speak on Link (The Legend of Zelda) and Princess Zelda, but shouldn't those two be in child, not teenage? A good portion of some of their narrative takes place when they're not yet teenagers, so I would think the less specific one would be more appropriate. Just asking! ~ Amory (u • t • c) 11:59, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
- You're right, I think they are better off in both. I will add the category back.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:01, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Tunnel worm
A tag has been placed on Tunnel worm requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
- disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hey, Zxcvbnm, I declined your G6 of the fire snake redirect. It seems to me that the DnD monster is pretty clearly non-notable, so I just converted it straight into a redirect to Xiuhcoatl. I know you were thinking of turning it into a dab page, though, and if there are more potential targets than these two things, I would agree that that makes sense; feel free to overwrite the new redirect and turn it into a dab page if that's what you think is good. Otherwise, I'm probably gonna send the DnD-dabbed redirect to RfD in a couple of days or something, to give the new thingy time to stick. Let me know if you have better ideas on what to do. Cheers! When you move redirects and create disambiguation pages, could you please check the links? I am now fixing some of the links to disambiguation pages you have created and that is work that should have been done by you. The Banner talk 14:00, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
- I'll second that. And moving pages and just relying on the redirect without checking things like wp:primarytopic, makes for poor navigation as well.
- I see several messages above on your talk page which appear to suggest that you might want to read wp:dab, among other policies. I hope this helps.- jc37 05:21, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- Please don't patronize me - I admit that I forgot to change the infobox links when I moved the pages, but sometimes there are so many links that you have to choose between making sure ALL users have proper navigation and addressing some misdirected links that only slightly impede navigation of people browsing comic book lists. This was something that clearly had to be done regardless, so I don't see the issue in being "forced" to fix the links.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 10:32, 3 April 2018 (UTC)
- If you are taking the initiative to move a page to a different title and change the old title to a disambiguation page, then you should also take the initiative to make sure that all the links to the old title are going to the correct target, regardless of how many there are. No one is "forced" to do anything on Wikipedia, but it is impolite at best, and inconvenient to readers, to do something that you know is going to break existing links and not fix them. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 16:03, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

New Page Reviewer Flag
Hi,
I've noticed that you are an AfC reviewer but don't yet have the New Page Reviewer flag. Can you please head over to PERM and request it? Please mention that you are an active AfC reviewer in your application.
As part of a larger plan to increase cooperation between New Page Patrol and Articles for creation, we are trying to get as many of the active AfC reviewers as possible under the NPR user flag (per this discussion). Unlike the AfC request list, the NPR flag carries no obligation to review new articles, so I'm not asking you to help out at New Page Patrol if you don't want to, just to request the flag.
Of course, if NPP is something you would be interested in, you can have a look at the NPP tutorial.

Solid Clouds
Hi, I took a look at Draft:Solid Clouds as I am working on abandoned drafts related to Iceland, your comment on the article from January is that it is maybe toosoon as there are not enough secondary sources. I have done a search and located 7 or 8 more reasonable sources, these are in the footnotes section. I understand that the notability for companies is quite strict, do you think the article is worth working on with these references? Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 10:56, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
- @Frayae: I'm still not certain I am seeing the notability of the studio there as opposed to their games. Many of the articles go more in depth about their games than the studio itself. I would say you might be able to make an article for their game Starborne: Sovereign Space instead but the game isn't fully released yet so it's still a WP:TOOSOON situation.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 06:33, 2 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Swords in fiction. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – List of fictional swords. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of fictional swords. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Notice
Just in case you don't get the notification for the revert on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Requests, I have done so for the Splitgate entry and have added 2 print reviews (which is a really good indicator of notability), plus 2 indepth gaming reliable reviews, plus coverage here and there pre-release. In my eyes, it meets WP:GNG. Also wanted to thank you for recreating My Time at Portia, it needed an article for so long! Will try to clear some off the list when I have time. - @Jovanmilic97:Okay, on second thought that was too hasty and it does seem notable. My bad.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 11:55, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
- No worries! Also thanks for your contributions and continuing to clear the request article! Jovanmilic97 (talk) 23:44, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

— HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 16:55, 18 July 2019 (UTC)As you have a knack for finding video game-related articles with WP:GNG issues, I'm hoping you can give me some insight into the article Chaotix. I'm thinking that Chaotix does have WP:GNG issues since I don't think the subject is notable, and any applicable material in it can be merged into the List of Sonic the Hedgehog characters article. What are your thoughts? Steel1943 (talk) 13:54, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Steel1943: I wholeheartedly agree that they should be merged into the List of Characters. It seems like a stretch that they would be standalone notable and the reception section of the article is really obviously reaching for examples.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 18:05, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
Gamergate discretionary sanctions alert
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in (a) GamerGate, (b) any gender-related dispute or controversy, (c) people associated with (a) or (b), all broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Disambiguation link notification for July 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Moogle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Creature (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:37, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Hi. I declined your request to speedy delete Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX as the draft you wanted moved is an AFC draft that has not been approved. Such a move is not uncontroversial maintenance.
I've now noticed that you are an AFC reviewer. Am I to take it you intend to approve the draft? If yes, is it possible to approve before requesting deletion of a blocking redirect? That would make life easier for both yourself and admins who review your requests. Moving an approved draft to mainspace is uncontroversial maintenance.
Please don't put the CSD tag back as CSD is a one-shot process - "If an editor other than the creator removes a speedy deletion tag in good faith, it should be taken as a sign that the deletion is not uncontroversial and another deletion process should be used." You can ping me if you approve the draft and want me to move it and I'll be happy to oblige. Cheers. --kingboyk (talk) 02:01, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Belle Delphine
Your secondary reasoning of the Belle Delphine article being a "recent and definitive 'delete' vote" is understandable on paper, but doesn't hold too much weight, in my opinion. That AfD ran from June 26-July 4. Only 4 of the draft's 24 references were published prior to July 4, with a vital one being dated July 3. Also the "one or two stunts" reasoning is perhaps faulty, as besides her Pornhub account and GamerGirl Bath Water stunts, she has also received media coverage from reliable and credible media coverage for her Instagram ban, as well as her general content (both what that content is and the reaction to it). The online reception section of the draft has 8 different references discussing the reception to her content (7 of them published post-July 4; the one that was not ).
If you were to completely remove the 2 sections related to the Pornhub account and GamerGirl Bath Water stunts, the draft would still have 16 references. But that's irrelevant, because blanking those sections would be disingenuous. Her YouTube content from 2016 and how it contrasts from her 2018-19 Instagram content was covered by Rolling Stone, and that's just 1 example on how the sustainability argument kind of falls flat, in my opinion. The article isn't just listing her "stunts". It's not as if every reference provided is an article that doesn't do much to go beyond its headline. The sources, and this draft go into how media outlets receive her content (including but not limited to those stunts) and how they exist in the context of women in video games, among other things, for example.
I'd like to see if there is a way to open this up to a 1. a discussion on inclusion (as there actually 20 post-July 4 references included that I imagine can actually sway readers' opinions in an AfD), and 2. a discussion on ways to improve the article.
Thank you and best wishes, Soulbust (talk) 03:30, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Soulbust:An AfD is typically a referendum on whether they are notable in general - not whether the article is adequately sourced. Thus, a delete vote in an AfD is generally sufficient to say that the article shouldn't be recreated anytime soon, because users have decided that the person is not notable no matter how large and fully referenced the article got.
- The problem is that she fails WP:SUSTAINED which says that she needs to stay in the news over a long period of time. It seems like she hasn't, since she started getting notoriety in 2018. Just because she got a flash in the pan surge of news coverage doesn't mean she is notable. If in another few years she continues to gain news coverage, then she would probably qualify for an article.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 06:50, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Soulbust:@Zxcvbnm: I've made some minor edits to this draft. My two cents: "Another few years" seems far too long. I think if we were going to wait, per WP:SUSTAINED, it should be about half a year, maybe less. Having said that, I do think that there should be some sort of wider discussion on the article. The previous AfD seems slightly irrelevant since that now-deleted article was in a much different state. I also want to point out that WP:SUSTAINED states "If reliable sources cover a person only in the context of a single event, and if that person otherwise remains, or is likely to remain, a low-profile individual, we should generally avoid having a biographical article on that individual" but the sources on this draft have definitely covered more than one event. Aitch & Aitch Aitch (talk) 16:52, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- @Soulbust:See WP:NORUSH. Wikipedia is not about propping up or advertising people, it's about documenting history, so there is no hurry to make an article. In my opinion a biography should not be made until it is unequivocally someone who is notable, even if that means waiting a long time. But if you disagree feel free to press the "ask for advice" button on the draft and ask for help. I still think that enough time has not passed to demonstrate notability.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 23:08, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Corrective notice
We do not delete main character lists for series. Please fix this immediately.Googinber1234 (talk) 15:37, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Googinber1234: That is false, as you can see from literally everyone else in the deletion discussion voting "delete". We most certainly do delete character lists if they are not properly sourced, notable content. Your argument should be on the AfD page, not on my talk page. Sending a false "corrective notice" is called gaming the system and will get you banned.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 22:18, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Conditional support
You made your support conditional on the fact that climate change becomes a PRIMARYREDIRECT to global warming. In the current discussion, there is also a substantial minority view climate change should become a disambiguation page. Would you definitely not support that? In my view, the primary goal of the discussion is to rename the article into whatever, making sure that climate change points to preferable global warming, but possibly a disamb page to both global warming and our general article about climate change. If you could live with it becoming a disamb, would you be willing to make that clear? Femke Nijsse (talk) 06:37, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
- @Femkemilene: Yes, I am fine with climate change becoming a disambiguation. The only thing I am really against is global warming being moved to climate change.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 09:22, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
I have a related question/request. Like you, a few other editors would like to see a related change take place at the same time, but (unlike you) they have explicitly said they are willing to compromise by renaming climate change to climate change (general concept) now and putting off discussion of related reforms until after that is completed. Examples include @Femkemilene and Colin M:. At present, it appears you are 100% opposed to renaming climate change now, unless you get your way with these other things now. In my view, these are separate issues, which should sink or swim on their own merits. QUESTION... would you be willing to support the rename of climate change - all by itself - as a "plan B", similar to what Colin M has done? If your answer is "no" then please go to the main thread at Talk:Climate change and explain why you believe it is imperative for one of these other reforms to happen at or before climate change is renamed to Climate change (general concept). Thanks! NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 15:00, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
