What happened? All <math> blocks seem to be not working. Some show the error "\begin is not a function". user:Derekleungtszhei 00:11, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- See two entries above at math markup broken. RJFJR (talk) 00:12, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

wiki entry being used for kickstarter/press. This isn't worthy of wiki entry

- I don't believe that a kickstarter page for a product is a "reliable independent source", so I have deleted the citation. I have also deleted the other citation, which was even worse. I searched the web for usable sources, but failed to find any. Maproom (talk) 08:15, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- I have nominated for deletion. --Enric Naval (talk) 09:34, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
Please contact me regarding the information on the page for Cain's Ballroom. I am a former owner. It mentions the Finnnerty Brothers. I, Danny Finnerty owned Cain's, not my brother . Thank you. D- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.177.73.15 (talk) 12:28, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- we present what is found in reliably published sources. do you have such documentation? -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:07, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- But apparently all reference to the Finnerty Brothers has been removed, to be on the safe side (better to say nothing than maybe be wrong). Herostratus (talk) 18:53, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
list of artists british
edityou have missed out peter hammond born 1942 in dewsbury yorkshire,my i ask you to look him up on ask art peter hammond you will find details there — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.152.52.189 (talk) 13:01, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- I assume you mean List of British artists? - This list is of those British artists who are notable enough to already have their own Wikipedia article, it would be impossibly long if it included everyone who had ever picked up a brush . Looking up Peter Hammond we don't have an article on Peter Hammond (artist) and until we do, he won't be added to the list. Arjayay (talk) 13:24, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
John Grindal at Grindal Shoals SC
editDo you have info this person? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.47.254.210 (talk) 13:10, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- Apparently not, according to this search, the only mention of John Grindal we have in any article is John Grindal Brayton (1842-1892) a Lancashire Doctor. Arjayay (talk) 13:28, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

- Thank you for letting us know there is a problem. It would be helpful if you explained what, specifically, is incorrect with the article. --Onorem (talk) 16:16, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Houston Chronicle - Hearst Corporation Era
edit< On October 18, 2008, the paper endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President of the United States in the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election, the first Democrat to be endorsed by the newspaper since 1964, in which it endorsed Texan Lyndon B. Johnson.[17][18] and he died while eating mustard while doing a 360 no scope off the wall in the bathroom while takeing a dump >
That is the last paragraph under this section and the last sentence in this paragraph is not helpful to the overall article or relevant to the section itself. I tried to edit it but the last sentence doesn't even show up. This last sentence needs to be removed as someone is enjoying leaving asinine comments embedded in the articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Erinmjeffrey (talk • contribs) 17:46, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- The vandalism was reverted immediately, but for some reason the reversion didn't show up. I have purged the page's cache & it now shows correctly. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:57, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
How do you thank an editor for his edits?
editI notice that my notice box lights up sometimes with the message "So-and-so has thanked you for such-and-such edit". It's obviously automated. I would like to do that, but I can't figure out how, even after asking. I assume there's some gadget or script that makes the appropriate button come up? But can't find. Thanks! Herostratus (talk) 18:49, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- If you go to the history of the page to which the edit was made, each edit by a registered editor (except you yourself) should have a "thank" link, next to the "undo" link. Just click on the one for the appropriate edit. (I think everyone has these. I don't recall ever enabling them; they just showed up one day.) Deor (talk) 18:56, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, sure enough. Thanks! Herostratus (talk) 19:16, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- There's more detail at Wikipedia:Notifications/Thanks. -- John of Reading (talk) 21:27, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
When is a stub not a stub?
editAfter finishing expanding Silvanidae I'm not sure I consider it a stub any more. Who makes that decision? Mct5548 (talk) 20:47, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
- I removed the stub template. RJFJR (talk) 20:58, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
Thank you. Mct5548 (talk) 21:11, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
