I added a photo of the entire Broken lizard team

You've uploaded that image to Wikimedia Commons, so if anyone takes it down it'll be admins there, not here at en:Wikipedia. I can't see why they should – you claim to have taken the picture yourself, which seems entirely credible. Maproom (talk) 08:58, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Please note however that WP is not and WP articles are not a place which is dominated by any one person. If you are a person connected with the troupe's PR please note that WP is not a place for PR and promotion of such groups. There is no particular reason so far as I know for the picture to be taken down from the article and certainly with respect to the above comment there is no reason to take it down from Commons. Your picture is certainly better than the old one because it includes all the members as I understand it. Category alphabetisation question

Why does Outland (video game) appear before Octapolis (video game) in Category:Video games developed in Finland? Neither article has any special sorting value in the category, and last time I checked, U came after C in the alphabet. JIP | Talk 01:55, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources state, and is not concerned with truth, as truth is in the eye of the beholder, but in what can be verified. If you are aware of incorrect information and have independent reliable sources to support changes, please discuss them on the relevant article talk page. 331dot (talk) 02:07, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia has thousands and thousands of errors in its six million articles. We hope that most of them are minor, but there is no doubt there are some major ones. Anybody is welcome to help us correct some of these: you don't need to create an account or log in. But you do need to provide a reference to a published source for anything you want to add. Well-constructed articles (which is not all of them, unfortunately) contain references to reliable sources which you can go and check if you wish. Roddy McDowall

In the Wikipedia article on Roddy McDowall, his birth date is given as 1928 not 1938. The text "Years active 1938–1998" refers to his acting career, which began in 1938. -- John of Reading (talk) 07:53, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

How to edit the title

Hi, I tried to edit page title but I've failed to do so. The page URL as per below:

I want to change the title Markit to IHS Markit.

On that note, the IHS Markit page already exists and I'm trying to merge the two. Merge from Q17103838 to Q1662481.

No they shouldn't be merged- one is about the defunct British company, and one is about the new company. Wikipedia doesn't just erase history because it's defunct now. Joseph2302 (talk) 09:17, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

(edit conflict) @Amaliazhivago: It seems there is a draft at User:Amaliazhivago which is not the correct place. However, that is the least of the issues. Please study the following links: WP:NCHESS, WP:YFA, WP:GNG and WP:MOS. Some further links will be left at your talk page. If you feel you are able to create an item which will be acceptable, you should go via WP:WIZ or WP:AfC to create a draft which can be submitted for review (the current attempt has not been). Your user page is to tell the community a little about yourself and how you intend to contribute to the encyclopedia. Attached KML template conflicting with Coord template in title corner

Is there a preferred way of resolving a conflict between a Coord template and an Attached KML template, as they do in Great Wall of Los Angeles? They take up the same space and overlap in the "title" corner for me on both Firefox and Chrome. I assume the solution is just to make one display title and the other display inline, but I've never dealt with the Attached KML template before and I'm not sure which template normally takes precedence. Apparent vandalism to the Industry classification page

An anonymous user (103.240.98.224) has been making damaging changes to the Industry classification page. When these edits are reverted, they make them again or make other damaging edits. What's the best way to proceed? Thanks. Misha Wolf (talk) 17:34, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Not-for-profit foundation

Hi all!

We are trying to create a page dedicated to the memory of our dear friend that we lost recently in a tragic skiing accident.

Our group is currently in the process of registering a foundation in his name, in which we intend to raise funds and build a wilderness hut in his honour.

The ultimate goal here is that there would be information about him, the foundation, and the hut long after we're all gone, and that would not need to be edited or modified much after the hut is built. Would really appreciate some ideas on how to do this in a way that it won't go stale or get removed from Wikipedia.

Obviously, this is a work in progress but really trying to gather some help from the community so we have a better understanding of how to represent within the rules.

The foundation will need to have significant coverage in independent reliable sources, see the guidance at WP:ORG. Until then, it falls under WP:TOOSOON and does not qualify for a Wikipedia article. Wikipedia is not the place to set up a memorial for your friend. You can create a web page on your own to do that and hire someone to host it for as long as you like. A question about warnings vs WP:DENY

Should edits like this prompt a warning for accounts with just a single edit? I reverted the edit, as the information is sourced from the organization responsible for such ratings, and I was inclined to leave a warning for unexplained removal. But I also thought it might be better to WP:DENY, since a warning might simply attract his attention back to the article and cause further disruption. • I have hidden the revision from public view, so Wikipedia readers and users without administrative privileges can't even see it. I'll leave it to others whether to warn the user or not.
