National socialist movement

There is a page on Wikipedia containing info about the National socialist movement. It states their political orientation is “far-right”.

Socialism for starters is not on the right side of the spectrum, it’s a leftist ideology. The right or Republican Party was formed in opposition to the Democratic Party and slavery. The Republican Party was also founded in the north- Ripon, Wisconsin to be exact, what side did they fight in the civil war? The right or Republicans support capitalism not socialism.

This claim, that the National Socialist Movement is far-right or right in any way is wrong and mis-information. Totalitarian government is large government- another leftist ideology, the exact definition of it.

The right has always been about conservatism, and the left liberalism, since the days of the French Republic (indeed, the terms "left-wing" and "right-wing" come from where the liberals and conservatives sat while in legislative sessions - liberals to the left side of the chamber, and conservatives to the right). "Big government" can apply equally to either wing, especially outside of North America. (Also, fascism - such as espoused by a rather infamous National Socialist party - is conservatism taken to its illogical extreme.) —A little blue Bori v^_^v ^{Hasteur Hasteur Ha-- oh....} 00:21, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

Hello, AllenMom14. My condolences for your sister. But Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a memorial site. The sad fact is that thousands of people get murdered: Wikipedia is not about trying to collect complete lists of anything, but summarising information about people and other subjects which meet Wikipedia's criteria for notability - in this case, people who have been written about in some depth for some reason other than being murdered. About WP:Rfc

Suppose in an Rfc all editors are agreed on a particular thing which is supported by sources . While one editor is repeatedly putting his personal views and nt producing a reliable source to support his claims which is opposite to the view of other editors. Also not tries to reach on agreement with others. What will be the result of that Rfc after request fr closure. WP:Page name

On WP:Page name it says:

• A pagename cannot contain % followed by 2 hexadecimal digits, unless for a percent-encoded character, although there are exceptions.

And as WP:USERNAME points out, it's not possible to create an account for a company or an institution. An account is for one person, not for two or more people. The guidance says that employees of a company should not write about their company or a competitor (or presumably their respective products. Historical subjects should be OK to write on such as Alcock and Brown,Charles Lindbergh, Imperial Airways or the Rolls Royce Merlin engine. Orphaned Talk page

Hej, I noticed that (I think due to a wrong config in the talk page archiving) here Talk:White_supremacy, there is an orphaned talk page archive here Talk:White_supremacy/Archives/_1 - which is not captured by the archivebox in the header, and can't be found. How does one deal with that? Should it be pagemoved or should the text be cut & pasted into the last proper archive here Talk:White_supremacy/Archive_5? Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady Aparecida

It is necessary an edition in the title of the page Basilica_of_the_National_Shrine_of_Our_Lady_of_Aparecida, in 2016 the church was recognized as a Cathedral, therefore nowadays the most recognized name is Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady Aparecida (see the Portuguese version of the page). This also will help to provide better access to information. This same request is already on article's talk page since 29 July 2020, with no modifications or answers until now. Also is not possible to submit a technical move request here once the page is protect, therefore the last possible modifications and requests there were 27 days ago. I respectfully ask you to notice that you made a mistake Tigraan, my request above is clearly to change to "Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady Aparecida" and NOT the full official name. As I mentioned in the page, the Wikipedia name of a place/location should be what people recognize as popular. Therefore, since the Cathedral title was granted in 2016, people started more and more to address as "Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida", although the official name is "Cathedral Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady Aparecida". The Portuguese Wikipedia version of the page is exactly as referred "Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady Aparecida" https://pt.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catedral_Bas%C3%ADlica_de_Nossa_Senhora_Aparecida 84.241.193.184(talk) 16:29, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

I do not know where to report a bug and whether it needs to be corrected somehow. Therefore, I am writing here.

• @PenchoLinden: once your 24h block for edit warring expires, you should go to Talk:Sigmund Freud and make your case for the edit you want to make here (essentially, removing Beauvoir's criticism from the page). Such case would be greatly helped by references supporting the edit (for instance, an academic review indicating that no serious contemporary philosopher thinks Beauvoir's criticism holds water).

Even if you think all other people on the page are idiots, or illiterate, or acting in bad faith, Wikipedia policy still requires that you try to collaborate with them. Tigraan^{Click here to contact me} 14:52, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

It would help if you gave a link to the magazine's website, and also indicated which article it's being used on, and what assertions it's being used to support - a source may be reliable for one assertion, but unreliable for another, editors will need the context in order to make a determination. "Jewish"

Why, when an individual is Jewish, does it have to be mentioned somewhere within the first three lines from the top of the paragraph? When an individual is Catholic, etc. it is not given the same prominent positioning. For example is you look at Sam Liccardo, Mayor of San Jose, his Mexican, Sicilian and Irish descent is not mentioned until the 3rd line from the bottom. Per the guidelines as WP:BLPLEAD, there is no reason why someone's ethnicity or religion should be mentioned in the lead section of an article unless it is connected to their notability. @AmirahBreen: I'm surprised there's no edit link (pencil icon) beside it, but if you click on the "Wikidata item" link (in the Tools submenu on the left side of the screen in desktop view), you can edit it there (in each language).

Also, please don't put parentheses around your signature – as you can see, it makes automated tools not recognize it as such. The ~~~~ should be the very last thing in your posting. I also see that your name in that signature is not linked to your user or talk pages (a requirement of WP:SIG). Wikipedia does not seem to have an article of that name under either spelling. Please provide a link to the page where the issue may exist. Are you referring to an entry in another language Wikipedia or another site altogether? If so, the matter will need to be raised there as the various language versions are separate projects and Wikipedia has no input at other sites.. A 'Google' search has not helped much. If so, make the suggestion at Talk:Lenin (horse); and if there's no response there after a week or so, then at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Horse racing. I didn't find much useful with Google, except this possibly reliable site, which calls him "M. Lipschitz" and a blog that has "Maurice Lipschitz".
