As a note regarding precedent, I anecdotally agree that there is a current consensus that the routemap templates are complex enough that they are worth keeping in the template space even if they have only a small number of transclusions. This is only anecdotally speaking, of course, and it should probably be documented at WP:TFDO with examples for future reference in discussions such as these. Single use template. Info can by included in the article about the line. The Banner talk 20:28, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the railroad destination templates are single use due to the unique stops they serve(d). Listing each stop within the article would be cumbersome which is why a unique template is ideal for this use. Zackrules90 (talk) 01:50, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was no consensus without prejudice to Soon renomination pending some obvious consensus discussion (possibly not MFD). Izno (talk) 21:22, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Propose merging Template:WikiProject Barack Obama with Template:WikiProject United States.
As per this TFD, this should be merged into {{WikiProject United States|USPresidents=yes}} The C of E God Save the King! (talk) 15:25, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to have been done without discussion, so it might be worth actually sending it to MfD first. On the actual merit (and if this redirect holds), support replacement, not a merge. Since Wikipedia:WikiProject Barack Obama wasn't merged into Wikipedia:WikiProject United States Presidents but redirected to it. Note that also Wikipedia:WikiProject Bush family (Template:WikiProject Bush family) and Wikipedia:WikiProject Gerald Ford (Template:WikiProject Gerald Ford) were also redirected by the same editor. Gonnym (talk) 08:09, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The WikiProject page was redirected by Wow, without apparent discussion, and without redirecting the subpages. It is not clear to me that they followed up by making the necessary adjustments to related templates, but as with the poorly done non-admin closures like Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:WikiProject Kamala Harris, performed by ToadetteEdit, this one looks like it was left half-done. Basing this redirect on that Kamala Harris close is possibly invalid, as the closing editor was subsequently topic-banned from performing XFD closures. I recommend that Wow undo their the redirect and start an MFD discussion, to be closed only by an admin, who can then ensure that the necessary subpage and template cleanup is performed as needed. – Jonesey95 (talk) 04:08, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to wait to see if the Obama, Bush, and Ford redirects still hold for longer before sending the WP banner templates to TFD. But, now that I just noticed that Toadette is topic-banned, I'll undo the redirects. Wow (talk) 08:47, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Other than one film, all other entries redirect to the main article, so useless for navigation --woodensuperman 15:14, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary template that has only been used for a very small subset of List of sea captains from a specific region, and all for articles created by a single (now banned) user. Melcous (talk) 07:49, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. This template is essentially a navel-gazing exercise within a single now-banned editor's walled garden. It's inappropriately scoped for (and not integrated into) the greater encyclopedia, and most of the articles from the original set are of dubious notability and have since been deleted/redirected or inevitably will be soon. The above are links to political party names. We've migrated over to use Module:Political party as a database for these. Add these if they are missing to the module, and replace usages with the relevant template. Gonnym (talk) 06:35, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Completely overlaps with Template:Undertale, which Deltarune is in the same franchise in and houses no unique content on its own. It is nearly an exact duplicate of the Undertale navbox, with the only differences being some content getting moved around. And when you take out the content that is only related to Undertale / originates from it, you are left with two articles, that being Deltarune and its soundtrack, which are linked to eachother consistently. Additionally, all pages related to Deltarune already have the Undertale navbox. Basically, this template is useless. λ NegativeMP1 00:43, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe change the Undertale one to "Undertale and Deltarune" then? Benpiano800 (talk) 00:47, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That would be the best result honestly. I would have suggested just keeping the whole thing under Toby Fox's template but I digress.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 00:52, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that this is the best solution, especially as the two works are very intentionally connected by the author, so it’s unlikely that they will diverge that much more (if anything, the recent UT character articles will likely be intermingled with Deltarune more). ― novov (t c) 01:53, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Seems like a fair solution. Are template merges possible? λ NegativeMP1 02:28, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, just basically copy everything over and redirect the Deltarune template to the Undertale one.--Kung Fu Man (talk) 05:27, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
