- Project News
- The results of the project's first survey have now been posted. The feedback will be used by the coordinators to help further improve areas of the project. Thank you to all who responded and left your opinions on the project and its activities.
- The nominations period for the semi-annual Coordinators election is now open. Once again we are aiming to select seven coordinators to serve for the next six months. Sign-ups will run from March 1-14, with the voting stage lasting from March 15-28. All project members are welcome to nominate themselves for election.
- We have a number of FA/FL, A-class, and Good Article nominations open which would benefit from additional participation. Let's help improve these various articles to higher levels. If you know of a great candidate for A-class that meets the criteria, consider nominating here.
- Do you have a great library of film books/magazines? Is your DVD library the envy of your friends? If so, consider posting your library at the resources department. Help to expand the potential resources available for sourcing information within our articles.
- Our project now has 54,000 film-related articles, with 51,000 that have been assessed by our assessment department! Remember to always add the {{Film|class=}} template to a film article's talk page so the project can get a better idea of what work still needs to be done. Below is a table showing a breakdown of our articles by class.
- Spotlight Update: Multiple films and film-related articles have reached GA, FL, and FA status in February 2009.
- In addition, two articles have been demoted from FL status as they no longer meet the Featured List criteria:
