Dynamic Duo is an upcoming American animated superhero film based on the DC Comics characters Dick Grayson and Jason Todd. Produced by DC Studios, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, and 6th & Idaho, and to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the film is being directed by Arthur Mintz from a screenplay written by Matthew Aldrich. The film will serve as an origin story following Grayson and Todd, otherwise known as the Robins, as orphans and the "Dynamic Duo".
An animated film focused on the Dick Grayson and Jason Todd incarnations of Robin was revealed to be in development in October 2024. Animation for the film is provided by Swaybox Studios.

editIn October 2024, DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures Animation greenlit an animated film titled Dynamic Duo, focused on the origin story of the DC Comics characters Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, known as the Robins, as the "Dynamic Duo". Arthur Mintz was set to direct the film with Matthew Aldrich writing the script. The film's "momo animation" technology, which combines computer animation with practical stop motion and live-action performances, was being provided by Mintz's animation studio Swaybox. DC's The Batman (2022) director Matt Reeves was producing the film through this production company 6th & Idaho, but it was not connected to that film's continuity. DC Studios's James Gunn and Peter Safran also produce the film alongside Theresa Andersson, Mintz's wife and Swaybox co-head.[1]
