Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
editSuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot (talk) 17:12, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

When undoing edits
editOn WoW in this case, you should leave an edit summary. In general, you should leave one; if you desire to force it upon yourself, there's a preference (see Editing tab) to prompt you for an edit summary. --Izno (talk) 21:40, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip. I presume you mean a summary beyond "undid revision" with some reason for having done so... which makes sense. MyNameWasTaken (talk) 22:05, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
Unpatrollables
editI deleted UMUCHU with its {{db-unpatrolled}} tag - I had caused the problem in the first place! But in future you may find this trick an easier way of marking such titles patrolled. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 21:07, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
- Awesome! Thanks for the tip! MyNameWasTaken (talk) 15:54, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Art & Terrorism
editFeel free to leave me a message here! MyNameWasTaken (talk) 23:47, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Hey, I updated the course page. Let me know what you think. It's clearly missing the final due date, which I don't have because I am without a syllabus. Other than that I think it is comprehensive. Hec7 (talk) 00:41, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
- Looks pretty good, thanks for sorting through all that. I think it'd be great for both of us to continue to add useful links to pages that could be helpful for each step (i.e. DYK critera/process, etc). I'll try and get that e-mail out tomorrow. MyNameWasTaken (talk) 01:31, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Do you have the final due date? Hec7 (talk) 01:04, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- According to the syllabus, the final essay is due 12/6/11, presumably the same as the Wiki entry. There's no explicitly mentioned deadline there now.
Where are we meeting tomorrow exactly? Hec7 (talk) 22:22, 21 October 2011 (UTC)
Sorry Mercedes and I didn't make it yesterday, we got confused and thought it was on Sunday! We're here now working on our projects, and were just wondering how to make our stubs live. If you have any suggestions, could you write it below please? Sorry again for the confusion. Cbrichar2011 (talk) 19:44, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
- Its totally OK. Where are your stubs now? I see both of your sandboxes, but they don't look like they have much information on them... User:Cbrichar2011/sandbox is only 46 words right now. MyNameWasTaken (talk) 19:57, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
I've gotten my sandbox up to the required amount of words and citations I think. Is it okay to go live now? Cbrichar2011 (talk) 21:59, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
- Go for it. In the upper-right next to the Star (for adding to watchlist) on each page is a small arrow that will lead you to the "Move" button. Just enter in the name of where you want to move it (in this case, Symbolism of Terrorism) and it should move it for you!
MyNameWasTaken (talk) 22:05, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Hey! So I'm a little over the 150 but that's ok, could you take a look and see if there are any other requirements I need in place before I go live?! thanks! MercedesSS (talk) 02:25, 24 October 2011 (UTC) Bah! It won't let me create references...the drop down for the templates won't populate each time I click on it - ugh, sorry. Problem child here. MercedesSS (talk) 02:30, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
Hey Ben, I'm a little concerned now, I can't pull up my page- it's been redirected to Afghan Art and none of my writing is there. MercedesSS (talk) 02:29, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
- So, someone decided that your article was similar enough to Afghan Art to remove it and make the page a redirect to that article. I'm inclined to agree to an extent... I'm not sure if Destruction of Art in Afghanistan is a solid enough topic to warrant its own page. We should probably meet to discuss in person, but maybe you could work on that page with a focus on the Destruction aspect? Alternately, we could first work on adding a solid section to Afghanistan on art/destruction thereof and then once that's there, bring back the Destruction of Art in Afghanistan as a page with more complete coverage of that subtopic. MyNameWasTaken (talk) 18:50, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Ok, so I'm backtracking at this point and I'm concerned. Where is all the work I did? Is it retrievable? MercedesSS (talk) 23:03, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
Comic Books and Terrorism is Live Just went live with my page (finally). I'd appreciate any insight or thoughts you have on it, content/structure or otherwise. Thanks - Bowhead 45 (talk) 18:09, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like an excellent start! I'll take a closer look in the next couple days and post on the talk page there if I have comments. For starters though I'd work to increase the level of in-text citations, working to provide a source for every fact you give. Keep up the good work! MyNameWasTaken (talk) 21:01, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
